Wow Shadowrun for free maybe ill play it again. I remember buying it a while back and liking it a lot. I also remember that the game has an achievement for TeaBagging a dead player.
 
Anyone else getting an error saying "Your purchase cannot be completed"?  I can't "buy" either of the free Persona 4U characters

 
I'm getting the same error with Shadowrun. One of the most 1,000 GS that I got. I did have to boost for that one achievement though because it was bonkers.

Well, I have no idea why Shadowrun is free, but I grabbed it from the web site in case it's a glitch and they fix it before I get home!

 
Never heard of Shadowrun, but I'll take it. It's actually a better GWG game for me since I own BC2. Whether I even bother to boot it up is another question entirely.

We must have different X1s, I HATE HATE fuck-ing HATE trying to do anything on the X1 dash, not to mention the two hour-plus time to fully install games. Shipwreck mentioned he's in the beta for the new dash update and called it "blade-y", so I'm somewhat optimistic it'll be a little less painful in the future.

To do anything on dash, say "Xbox go to..."

Only way it could be simpler is if it could read your mind. Sometimes when it understands my drunken mumbles, I wonder if it does read minds already.

P.S. Everyone should definitely check out the Vietnam expansion pack, it's a great add-on for BC 2.  

 
Abyss Odyssey must be really bad since no one is talking about it.  

I have the Shadow Run demo on the Xbox which means I must have liked it. I can't remember why though.

Two free games and two games I want (Far Cry 2 and 3) plus ones to try before buying (Liberation and possibly Abyss Odysey). Sounds like a successful date night (more like nooner).

Do people still play? I've always wanted to play, but I think even the population on PC was pretty bad as far back as a year or two ago. I'd definitely get it if more than 20 people were playing, but im sure the fact that it's on sale + GwG might introduce a new influx of players.

Just played NCAA Ultimate Team for a bit, it's really fun, but... I DIDN'T KNOW EA TOOK DOWN THE fuckING PACKS!!!! Going to be stuck with a 65 overall team now so that pretty much ruins online, and there's not much offline either.. I'm really disappointed with this, seems like a mode I would have put a lot of time in.

 
I wish the free game was Bad Company 1 instead of 2. I would replay the campaign in 1, super fun and the banter was hilarious. 2 was all right but didn't quite capture the same flavor.

 
^ in battlefield one my ai for the heavy gunner would all of a sudden get hit and hed start cussing and just run full blast into a fight with about 30 guys. Funny as it was it did get annoying having to chase his dumb ass down and be in a big fire fight when I could have just snipered them all.

Honestly, I have no idea. I sold the game before BF 3 came out and the population was dieing by then. Hopefully, like you said, the sale will introduce more people it.

 
Garou Mark of the Wolves as well as King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match both just went on sale for $4.99.  Get your SNK games cheap while you can!  The only SNK title not on sale as of yet appears to be Trouble Witches Neo. 

 
Wow, some of these SNK games were released 5 or 6 years ago and have never been on sale until now. Definitely picking up Sam Sho, maybe some others too. Already own Mark of the Wolves and KOF 2002. 

 
Hey Serious Question about the SNK games CAG community:

I bought Fatal Fury Special about a month ago. When I play the game while online everything is fine, however when I am disconnected to Live/Online, I load the game and when I attempt to play single player I get "You do not have permissions to run this game". I googled this and apparently Metal Slug 3 does the same thing. Do all of these SNK games have some kind of DRM? Is their a work around? Has anyone else run into this problem? I'd like to get all these SNK games, but I don't like being tied to being Online when they eventually shut Live down.

A little extra info, Yes I am using the same profile I purchased the game with. Yes I am using the same Xbox I originally downloaded it too.

 
For me Shadowrun is showing $14.99. It did have the games with gold logo earlier today but I wouldn't let me purchase through a browser. Thoughts?

It looks like they fixed it around 11 AM EST which is about when I tried to get it. Between here and SD people were getting it up until then but that's about when the complaints started.
 
Yay! Assassin's Creed Liberation is $5! Now I can forget about it even harder in my backlog! I Knew my childish name calling of Major Nelson would do something.

Is the :360: version of Liberation worth trying if I got bored and quit the Vita version? Does it improve the pace of the game?

Eh, read a couple of reviews and it sounds like it has a lot of the same tailing missions and insta-fail stealth sections that turned me off of AC3. Going to pass.

I don't know if you'll like the game or not. That being said, Liberation was by far the easiest AC game. There was very little insta-fail stealth and the tailing missions (don't remember that many) were really really easy.

 
I bought Liberation, 5 bucks is a great deal. Granted, I still have like 2/3 of Brotherhood and the whole or Revelations and III in my backlog (plus gotta pick up Black Flag and the upcoming ones eventually). But I'll get there... I will get there...

Abyss Odyssey is a fun little game. It was the same price the week of release so there is really no huge savings.

I had fun playing through it a few times. I like the art style and the randomly generated levels. It also has couch co-op.

Hmm, well that does sound promising. Thanks for the input.

After Ezio, Connor and Aveline are by far the most interesting characters in the series for me from a story/character perspective. Shame they're stuck in the worst games. :p

I hope it is because I missed out.
Someone at Microsoft must have made an error and thought Shadowrun was the free game for September instead of November.
 
Well that sucks. I was up for the free Shadowrun but for some reason I can't purchase anything on my account and now it's over :O. kept getting a "can't purchase try again later error" on everything.
