I'm still using my 360 to play some games..like Destiny, with friends.

My girlfriend got me a XboxOne for my birthday a few days ago though! Completely shocked me. Speaking of such things, I'm looking to buy or trade for any Xbox One stuff. Extra controllers, games, whatever.
 
Isn't Burnout Paradise a bit older? Being an EA title, has somebody checked to see if the servers are still up or y'all picking it up for SP only?

TrueAchievements doesn't list any discontinued achievements for either Revenge (2006) or Paradise (2008). The marked down Need for Speed titles also should have all achievements available.

They took online down for revenge it says. So online achievements are not possible for that game.

Rivals for 360 is showing at $9.99. I was thinking about buying Paradise but the DLC was pretty expensive. Most of the extra cars that go with Revenge were free so I downloaded them all.

If you like arcadey racers and not sims (which I feel the exact same way) you will love Burnout Revenge. I didnt feel that Paradise was as arcadey as the previous burnout games and went kind of a different direction. And I may be mistaken but I think Paradise didnt have crash mode like Revenge does where you try to do the most devastating crash and damage. Its easily the best mode in the game series. (altho racing is pretty damn fun too with the crash mechanics)

 
I was just playing some of my 360 backlog before any nighttime sales show up and it got me sort of nostalgic for avatar swag and themes....they need to bring those to XOne.

I'm in the same boat re: Dragon Age 2 game and DLC. It'd be almost $20 to get it all, not sure if I'm OK with that.

I decided to get DA:O Ultimate physical, because it was cheaper than getting all the content digital. I know that some people were recommending "renting" it from GS, but I don't feel comfortable doing that. I got the PS3 version preowned from BB, and it arrived tonight, complete (got lucky) for under $8. The 360 version is $10, but neither is currently available for shipping. I would've posted it in here earlier, but I wanted to be sure I got the right thing (they have 2 listings of "Dragon Age: Origins" preowned for each system, but the more expensive one in each case has the picture of the Ultimate edition). Most preowned games at BB come in and out of availability, so it is something to keep an eye on.
 
Always wanted to play Revenge, that physical price never went on sale new/used to my pricepoint. I'll try it finally, hopefully after 8 years it didn't age too much. Everything else I had or have.

Have they ever announced any plans foe selling KI 1 Classic separately? It's bullshit that you need to pay $40 or that Ultra pack to play it (I already have the $20 version).

 
Question: Do EA games ever become free GwG? I can't think of any off the top of my head. I'm debating whether DA2 will be free eventually.

They took down Revenge's servers, but quietly put them back up a month or two later. I played online some this spring and found people actually racing and not boosting, but don't have stable enough online where I'm staying right now to check it out and see if they are still up. However, people have unlocked online achievements as recently as yesterday on TA. Plus most of my games are in storage until I move in. I don't think you'll find people playing it very much. If achievements are a big deal you would have to boost them. Too bad as online is fun in that game.

I know R.B.I isnt considered a good baseball game but im debating grabbing it. Looks like its trying to be like the classic nes baseball games and I played a ton of those back in the day

I've been waiting for a sale on Burnout Revenge for years. For some reason it's an impossible game to find, even second hand, and when you do it's always priced way high. One of those rare older games that never came down in price. Can't wait to get home from work and line up my xbox to download this one.

You mean besides Battlefield BC 2 which just ended? O:)

 
Burnout 3: Takedown is probably my favorite racing game ever just ahead of Rallisport Challenge 2. However, Burnout Revenge is the last good Burnout (in my opinion of course) as Paradise just didn't feel the same.But I'd gladly take a Paradise 2 at this point in time considering we haven't had a new Burnout game in... forever. RIP Criterion Games :(

It's a lot of fun and well worth 5 even without many people online. Another game like this is the first Most Wanted. I think it still goes for 35 used at gs. Was going to recommend it if it hit this sale, but apparently it hasn't gone digital.

Same goes for Dirt 3. Awesome game that has had it's value rise recently, however, I recommend finding the complete version to get all the dlc.

 
Is Oblivion worth buying at $3.74 before midnight tonight?  Not really interested in the Dragon Age games, but I enjoyed Fallout 3 which is by Bethesda.  I know it's not a FPS, but neither was Fallout 3 really.  Thinking it might be cool to have on my system though to just dial up whenever I want.
