Never Alone is a beautiful and intelligent platformer with good local co-op. The setting is totally unique, and the documentary videos are actually interesting. Relatively easy to get all the Achievements too. End of the game gets uneven difficulty-wise, but they're working on a patch (which is already live on Steam) to fix that.

I got a X1 copy from Amazon for $30 and I have been enjoying it a lot more than I did the X360 version. I have mostly been playing Universe Mode,Career, and messing around with the Superstar Editor. I can see where some people might be upset at some of the removed stuff like Create A Diva and Create A Arena but I never used them in previous games. So far I think gameplay wise it's a lot better than 2K14 but the roster is a bit dissapointing.
 
No Duke Nukem DLC? At least tempt me 2k...the game is sub $5 new in some places. I cant get the DLC anywhere but LIVE. Catch a hint.

Great game and well worth it, but it was $5 during the year-end sale. It has hit that $5 a few more times last year, so if you wait, you could save some more money. If not, go for it, it's a great game with an amazing story.

EDIT: I don't know if I missed the announcement of it or not, but apparently Forza 6 just got announced :whistle2:k . Here's the trailer.

Again, EW has all dlc and the new features, but if you ever wanted to play vanilla EU, there is no option to do that in EW. That matters to some people who might want a playthrough without the new units introduced in EW for example.

Also, I know this been addressed before, but how can I use my Xbox credit towards a purchase?  The last two purchases I've made I tried one with online and one on the console, and both times they wouldn't put my $3 towards whatever purchase, just used my credit card for the full total.  I'm never going to find something under $3, so how the heck do I put it to use?

Neither time did they ask if I wanted to use my credit towards the purchase, just charged my card.

Every article I've looked at calls it an expansion, so wasn't sure if the base game was needed or not.

Just like I'm still confused about which RDR Undead Nightmare is the one that needs the base game and which doesn't. Going by the Enemy Within info it sounded like this needed the base game to play.

Headhunter Packs and the "Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2" are not included in the GOTY Ed.



On a sidenote, this is the second time I've noticed that if a deal's price gets flipped early on X1, it won't let me buy it and claims I need to provide my billing info--despite all the info already being preloaded. Last time it happened, I was trying to buy something on Xbox.com, this time it was on the console. Anyone else have this happen?

Yeah it was bullshit. Only available separately on PC. Glad I never boought any DLC. Undead Nightmare was nice since you could just buy the disc new disc, GOTY version, or upgrade with DLC.

 
After looking through the achievement guide for the two Mafia II DLC's it seems you can get 60% of the chievos by playing through the packs normally. A few more might require a few mission replays, but that "drive 1,000 miles" looks like some bull fuck . Gamers state you'll accumulate approximately 150 miles by the end of the story and dlc. Eff that achievement and 10 hrs of driving around. Note, this won't deter me from possibly getting the dlc. I just find it amusing.

So, anyone here played any of the Mafia II dlc packs and thought they were worth $5 each? I have xbl cash to burn

Have kids and then reward them by letting them play your grown up driving game!

It has been several years since I played them, but if you like the main game then the DLCs are pretty much more of the same. I don't remember anything particularly bad about them, except the achievement you mentioned. Yes, I earned it, and yes, it was a colossal waste of time. Though it's not as bad as you think -- there's a glitch where you can drive through a certain shop's store window and your car falls through the map and into infinite space. The falling counts as miles driven, but it's very, very slow.

Yeah, you only need Enemy Within. On PC it was DLC, but on console it ended up being a standalone reissue, just like what happened with Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition.

 
Mafia II still has my favorite glitch where I had to follow a guy's car and the guy was driving normally, but for some reason a cop car was right in front of him so he plowed through and overturned the cop car somehow (while going about 30 mph). Cop crawled out of the car, arrested the guy and I failed the mission. Good times.

I thought you could not play the original game, Unknown, from the Within game. That's what I remember reading back in the day.

I've had it happen a couple times on the web site, including when trying to buy one of the GwG titles. Usually goes away after a couple tries. Logging out and logging back in may help on the web. Don't think I've made any XB1 purchases on the console, so I haven't seen it happen there.

 
Well, WWE 2k15 w/ Season Pass for $56 approximately. Is that worth the overall price or the Season Pass won't do much since the game is so damn gutted? I feel like this game had so much potential, but not enough since it feels like Madden 25 all over again.

 
Looks like FIFA 15 it is since that's the best deal on the Dashboard. Chelsea soccer, here I come.

For the people clamoring for  a WWE 2K season pass sale...you do realize that this is an annual franchise and any missing features, wrestlers or whatever will probably be added next year and gameplay will see little to no change, right?

Good to hear it's not just some personal MS vendetta against me. Last time I just waited until the "official" day of e sale and everything was fine. I have been waiting on the Jack Pack to go on sale ...and now I have to wait a little longer.
