Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.
  • All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every other Tuesday.
  • ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...
  • Always verify Xbox Live Marketplace prices before your purchase!
  • Spend wisely, have fun, and enjoy!

What do you guys think is a better use of $5: Costume Quest, State of Decay, or hold off? Costume Quest looks like a neat little game, and I've been waiting for State of Decay to drop down to 5 bucks for a while. Only downfall with that is I haven't fired up my 360 much in a few months, and I don't know how much of either I'll really play, so I'm debating. I'd definitely be a lot more interested if either had some sort of co-op.

Source???

There's some good stuff in this week's sales, but it's mostly stuff I already own: Garden Warfare, Gears of War 3, Tomb Raider Underworld, State of Decay, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Saints Row 3, Injustice, Mass Effect, The Orange Box, Arkham City, Dead Island Riptide. All worth checking out.

Stick of Truth is very tempting at $17.99. I've heard nothing but good things from it so I may cave in. Thoughts?

Also, any thoughts on the Battlestations games and Supreme Commander 2? I've never heard of them.
Harmonix newsletter this afternoon and on nearly every gaming website. The releases tomorrow are...

Weezer - "Back in the Shack" (I'd rather have "Ain't Got Nobody" or "Go Away", but I'll gladly take any song off that album)

Tenacious D - "Rize of the Fenix"

Reminder: call of duty advanced warfare is cross buy til March 15th so the 40.19 on 360 gets you both the 360 and Xbox one version

I'm not buying anything though until I know what the daily deals are vs the weekly deals so I can see all the daily deals before I drop lots of money on weekly deals.

Is there any confirmation of daily deals? Haven't seen anything about that.
I don't recall seeing direct confirmation of it, but they had daily deals in the Feb Ultimate Games Sale in 2013 and 2014 (and during many other huge sales). Seems likely they'll do it again.

Also with Limbo on sale but not in the Deals with Gold Post by Major, I'd bet that there are daily deals and thats one of tomorrows.

I can't Decide on trials fusion or lara croft.

I will also help with the rainbow six achievement.

I was waiting on the xbone version of state of decay but when you buy state of decay on 360 you get 33% off the xbone version..

"State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition releases for Xbox One digitally and at retail on April 28, 2015 worldwide. State of Decay Xbox 360 owners will receive a 33 percent discount onState of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition when purchased through the Xbox Games Store till June 30, 2015. "

I'm pretty sure the xbone version will be 30 or 40 but even it's 20 a 33% discount comes to $6.60 off which is the price of it now on the marketplace(non gold). And the more it is the bigger the discount will be. So basically if anyone else was waiting it might be wise to buy it on 360 have some fun with it now. might be able to save some money or get both the 360 and xbone versions for the xbone price.

Sniper Elite 3 keeps popping up in my head, I want it but knowing there's a complete edition coming soon is making this hard. I already have the Hunt the Grey Wolf dlc too.

I bought it just to buy it for the discount. I'll wait to get the full experience on XB1. I'm glad I liked the game though so it was a no brainer, glad my boy let me borrow his account so I could play it for a couple hours a long time ago.

I bought it just to buy it for the discount. I'll wait to get the full experience on XB1. I'm glad I liked the game though so it was a no brainer, glad my boy let me borrow his account so I could play it for a couple hours a long time ago.
I almost bought it last time it was on sale with all the dlc but during that sale they announced the xbone edition. I figured it would'a came out in Jan/Feb so I decided to wait but it's set for April. And the more I think about it paying 5 dollars now to save at least 6.60 on the xbone version seems worth it (but I think it will be more than 20 with the dlc and extra work done so should be a much bigger savings)

I'm happy this is on sale, I was gonna force myself to buy lord of fallen because it is so cheap but this is more up my alley. and give me a reason to play my 360 :p

This is just from yesterday, going to be $30 and day one buyers get a day one edition http://www.videogamer.com/xboxone/state_of_decay/news/state_of_decays_xbox_one_upgrade_discount_is_only_available_until_june_30.html Damn now April 28th needs to hurry up

Thank god I waited on sniper elite 3 cause I was about to buy it for $35 dollars at best buy last weekend. The price of $10 dollars was just too good to pass up so I jumped on it. I might get the wife the halo collection Thursday, also speakig of the wife I havent been able to play the xb1 all day because she has been hogging it to play GTA V.

There is? Is any of the DLC even worth it though?

theres a good reason for that ......it sucks

Nah, DMC4 is solid and I really liked it. The biggest problem with the game is that the second half it basically makes you play the whole games over again. That part is really dumb.

So I was excited for the rebate in the new XBOX rewards until I saw the term for it. Giving all you guys a heads up so you won't get excited.

1 Star - $150
2 Star - $400
3 Star - $650
4 Star - $900
5 Star - $1200

Screw that! I'm 1 star and am 27% of the way to 2 stars. I don't think I've even spent $1200 in the XBOX marketplace in the 5 years I've had an XBOX. The MyPunchcard thing is okay if you're spending that much digitally on Games on Demand, but spend $180, get $20 is not worth it to me, especially if it means buy three $60 digital games at full price. Yeah, I'd rather get my money's worth on a physical copy at BB with Gamer's Club discount.

The only decent thing in the whole program is the Games with Gold. Play a GwG title for 10 hours within 14 days of its announcement, not release it seems, and get a $1. Buy an add-on for GwG within 14 days of its announcement and get $2 back.

That can't be right. I'm halfway through my third star, i didn't spend $750 in two and a half months.

$400-$500 at the most.

So do you get the same thing buying the base Trials game and the Season Pass as you would if you just bought the Deluxe edition?  Because the Deluxe is $16 and buying the base game and season pass separately is a little bit less.

I think I'm gonna get Costume Quest 2 and Trials Fusion and then watch the daily sales... Lords of the Fallen isn't my type of game anymore so I would never play it even at $9

Good lord, I ain't a prayin' man, but give me "No One Else"!!

Courtesy @Wario64, these are the weekend offers, according to Xbox Ireland.

Sniper Elite V2 is only 3.26 gb on Xbox 360 so downloading this one is a no-brainer for me. Not a big fan of GWG that take up too much space. Does anyone know if any of the DLC is any good.

Wow this is kinda rare...Southpark the Stick of Truth is 9,99€ with a 50% discount..which translates to $11.40...normally it's always the other way round and we pay more for everything...since most prices are $1=1€ most of the time, sometimes even worse.

So glad I mostly own everything I'd want on the 360. For the few things I don't (Dragon's Dogma comes to mind), I fully realize I may never get around to it and can mostly resist any temptation. I'm at the point where I'm trying not to buy anything  else for the 360 unless the price is just way too good to pass up.

As for the X1, here's what I'm looking at presently:

Alien Isolation season pass (no achievements, may end up passing)

Fantasia (Kinect?)

Lara Croft & The Temple of Osiris (most likely may get the game. Not sure what's in the season pass)

Lords of the Fallen (need to check out videos)

Trials Fusion Season Pass (already bought)

Sniper Elite 3 (I tend to suck using a sniper rifle, so unsure.. Plus GOTY edition releases soon with DLC?)

Styx: Master of Shadows (need to check out videos)

Sitting at over $70 for everything, going to have to cut some out as can't really afford all this at the moment. Alien and Sniper Elite 3 will most likely be passes. The former seems it'll be on sale multiple times (and has been already). The latter, with the DLC on disc in the future and Sniper Elite 2 being free, I can try that first before committing.

Lord of the Fallen / Styx - May get one or the other, but doubtful I'll get both if anyone has opinions leaning toward either.

Fantasia is one I have a big question on. Being a retail disc, I may just pass on it regardless and wait for that to drop. But seeing as it is a Kinect title, I'm curious as to how much room I'll need for Kinect. My room is quite small and if I'm unable to play this sitting on a bid two feet away, going to be an automatic pass this time around.

The ultimate game sales tile is up on the 360 dashboard. It seems like all the deals caught yesterday are the week long deals, no daily deals yet

my bed is around 2 feet away from my kinect also and my son had to stand on the middle of my bed for it to recognize him to play the demo so i would say you need more room.

So, the Screamride demo was fun. Too bad Twitch won't let me broadcast demos/games they haven't approved yet :(

Don't think it is worth $40 unless you love riding, destroying, and building roller coasters.

Dat cheevo art!
Hnnng. Stupid Gamestop, my copy is delayed because of inclement weather.

What do you guys think is a better use of $5: Costume Quest, State of Decay, or hold off? Costume Quest looks like a neat little game
Costume Quest is great, have you played the first one though? Because if not you should start with that. I'm double dipping on CQ2 for Xbone for the easy 1000 points (and because it's.... you know... fun).

Now that we finally have an idea when the first Evil Within DLC will release, I hope the season pass will go on sale this week as part of the daily deals.

why does everyone keep talking about daily deals? Pretty sure there's not. I don't see anything about daily deals on the 360 or xbone marketplace and no mention on here/slickdeals or am I missing something.

And I highly doubt that will go on sale before the first dlc drops but I'm hoping to see the game below 20 sometime soon.

Well, there's odd / poor wording on Microsoft's part. On the 360 pages, it says there will be 45 games. Adding up the total number of items between the week-long deals page, the value deals page and the weekend deals in the image above comes to 45, but 4 items are DLC. XB1 page says 31 games. There are currently 25 items on the page, however excluding DLC and bundles, there are only 19 distinct games (not counting the Telltale games separately). They also tout over $700 worth of (silver) savings on the XB1, but without actually tallying it up, I suspect that is double counting things, as though someone was going to buy both a base game and the bundle.

The Trials Fusion base game isn't listed on MS's page yet, and the FH2/FM5 bundle and Limbo aren't accounted for between the UGS and DwG announcements. So with a little bit of wiggle room for interpretation, people jump to optimistic conclusions.

Also, last February's Ultimate Games Sale had daily deals. However, the total number of items this year is higher. Last year, there were 13 week long deals and 71 total items on sale between the week long and dailies. MS is advertising 76 total games / items this year.

ahhh ok but you would think in the deal page on the marketplace it would have a section saying daily deal(s) but again the sale isn't suppose to go up until tomorrow so I guess we shall see.

and yea I don't remember seeing limbo listed anywhere as a weekly/weekend deal so I guess it is a possibility.

Hand Of Fate is supposedly releasing in US and Europe today, the 17th of February, but it's slated to come out at 4pm PST. That's the 18th of February in Europe. Noooooooo...

I think I might be well and truly done with buying Xbox 360 games, if I couldn't find a single thing I wanted on that enormous list.

Did pick up Lara Croft bundle and Costume Quest 2 on the Bone.

Can someone that's not Gold check the price of XB1 Advanced Warfare?  The deals page had listed it for $39.99, 20 cents cheaper than the Gold price, but a reload bumped it up to match the $40.19 Gold price.  Wonder if the Silver price will eventually bump up to $44.99 or $49.99 or if the Gold price will drop.

Is Lord of the Fallen on sale, I saw it mentioned a few times when I searched but I'm not seeing it, that was the game I wanted the most so I'm curious. Will be picking up a good amount of other stuff still probably.

Yep! $9 for gold members. I picked it up last night along with some other games.
