F that. I am almost totally digital now. My 2 TB was cheap and when it fills, I'll just upgrade. As long as I can find a few flips or we get the occasional Golden Crisp-like coupon, I'll stay 90% digital. Those Golden Crisp coupons came at the right time - right as all the AAA releases are getting ready to drop. Already bought Forza 6 and have SW and TR preordered.

On another note, after playing the BF beta, I'm glad it's already preordered digitally. I'll skip COD until it gets cheap. BF will be my FPS for the winter. The demo was insanely fun.

Yea i was eyeballing it ahaha... I played the first episode on the ps3 and really liked it.

Looks like gamestop is the only one currently selling the physical disc :( .. I cant buy any NEW games from them. The custom sticker and "employee testing/inspection" annoys me.
 
I've been waiting for the Microsoft store online to post the first 3 on that list. Possibly with a $10 gift card for each so I can use some of these Golden Crisp coupons.

BTTF is available online at Best Buy. Their new games always come factory sealed lol.

. Had the same issue with my wireless adapter after the preview update? Do you have an external HD hooked up? If you do unhook it and then do the hold the power button down reset trick. That worked for me.

Yeah, I can't stand gamestop for that shit. Amongst many other things.

Anyone else just absolutely 100% regret this garbage NXOE crap? Every day its a new fucking problem. Yesterday streaming wouldn't work. Youtube, Hulu, Youtube via "Edge", nothing. Every day there's a gold chance it locks up when I hit the guide button to quit an app. Things a piece of shit.

A little off topic, sorry... if I opt out of this awful NXE, it restores your console to factory settings. Does that mean I'll have to download all my games back on to my external and change all my in-game settings (controller setups), etc?

I cannot personally vouch for the site, but forum posters I have seen generally are favorable. I have seen on a handful of occasions where someone posts their code did not work, but they always followed up with a post stating that they contacted the site and were provided with a new working code and most posted that the issue was handled quickly and painlessly. All that said: caveat emptor.

If your games are saved on your external, you will be good. If its on your internal, I suggest you move it over because everything on the internal will be wiped.

Thank you. My major beef is that I can't see who's in a party anymore. If I sign on, I don't want to invite my friends into a new party if they're already in one.

I have the "Join Party" option on their profile, but it doesn't say with whom, unless I'm missing something.

Actually, when I updated to the NXOE on the 3rd it didn't wipe my internal. I only had one game on it at the time, but that game remained.

 
Is there still a way to turn off hand gestures in NXE? I can't find it in menus, and it keeps dimming while watching video.
 
Glad I didn't opt in on the NXOE after hearing all the issues here. Kind of scary that it's supposed to roll out next month to the public. Hope it's in better shape then.

They won't release it without first fixing all the bugs they know about and all the bugs they find before the official public release. I get that some people regret opting in, but we all knew this could happen - that's the nature of testing new software.
 
You all should have know the risk before opting in.

Things will get fixed you just have to wait.

You can unlock cortana if you have the nxe. She is pretty fun.

1. Double tap led xbox button
2. Go down to settings
3. Go into settings and spam up on your stick until nothing is highlighted and press a button couple of times

4. It will pop up and should be snapped

After that have fun.


Once you unsnap you'll have to repeat the steps to access again or say hey cortana

4. I suggest no one uses Cortana. Its worse than regualr Kinect. It popped up several times while raiding and the words "Hey" or "Cortana" never came frm my mouth. I had to shut off my kinect because of it.
 
...Yeah, I've been having some issues with NXE, namely its apparent inability to immediately boot anything on the main menu that's in the drive. Having to go select, say, Blu-Ray player to watch a movie is an inconvenience. I like that it shows things in a natural, non-slow animation, but it'll definitely have issues with making sure any game I was playing won't just boot me back to the start screen upon turning the damn thing on again.

So now its better after I restarted multiple times. Still dont think it is working; I am going to opt out of the NXE as soon as I can.
 
I am opting out because my system became unusable, I couldnt even play offline. I can live with inconveniences, but not letting me do anything is a little annoying.

Having said that, the issue I have is probably a rare one, sort of dumb luck only I can run into. I'd have braved the beta testing if not for the damn issue. Anyways, i am out of the NXE preview...well, whenever it updates and resets my console that is.

Wonder if there is a way to provide feedback on what happened with my console. Whats the best way, do you guys know?
 
With regards to EA Access trials, if I have less than an hour remaining on a trial, will it let me finish off a gaming session before expiring on my account, or is it literally if you have x amount of minutes left, the game ends at that exact time?

I think the preview dashboard has a way to send feedback or you could use the feedback forums.

What games were you playing offline? If I own them I'll try them to see if I experience issues and report them as well. Hopefully others can try and we can see if we get similar results (this can help decide if it's in part due to a external hard drive or something related to the new experience).
