If BttF or Minecraft were part of the collection, I would certainly think about keeping it. But I'm not into GoT, Borderlands, already have Walking Dead S1 that I haven't played past the first episode so I'm not even thinking about season 2, not sure about the Wolf game. Really don't think it's for me.

That said, I'm considering Back to the Future. However, noticed it's $5 on Steam. Not sure what I'll do.
 
I played all the way through bttf on a Wii, so that should be a testament to how good the game is. (Technically its just okay, but I love bttf)
 
So there are a few deals that I'm on the fence on but I have plenty enough slacebucks burning a hole in my pocket I'll probably end up getting them anyway.

Handsome collection: already have on ps4 but I prefer to have all my multiplats on Xbox.

Storm island: don't even have horizon 2 yet but its a great deal for such quality dlc.

Deadpool: loved it on 360 but beat it in one night on a rental. Which means its super short because I rarely complete games.

Brothers: same as deadpool but even shorter.

Ark: not even on sale but looks rad

Yugioh: is childhood nostaglia worth $15?

War chest hall of fame edition: its been way cheaper on disc but I'm trying to go all digital when I can. And it looks fun.

I've got about $250 in spacebucks sitting on my account so I need to just use common sense to convince myself not to buy this stuff.

For Arkham Knight Batmobiles, if you played Arkham City or Arkham Origins you may recall that there were DLC characters you could obtain for Combat and Predator maps.  Not the ideal character DLC, as you more than likely would have wanted to use them for the main game, like Catwoman.

Think of the Batmobiles like that.  They're more designed for the races the game has in isolated areas.  The issue being that the courses, while artistically interesting, are not something you'll probably race through very many times.  Also, the Batmobiles, while somewhat different, are all basically the same, so it feels very redundant to race through the maps with essentially the same car.  It's like if Forza released a game where you only drove the same basic car with minor modifications to each different car.  It would get very boring.

You can use the different Batmobile skins in the Campaign...sort of.

Most of the Batmobiles lack the Battle/Tank Mode option (why they didn't figure out a way around this design flaw is confusing).  If you have played Arkham Knight you know how overused the Battle Mode is in the game.

It's also why these Batmobile Achievements are basically locked to the racing maps because of no Tank Mode.

I'm halfway through Seasons of Infamy.  They're basically like the Side Quests in the main game, where you see familiar characters that should have been in the game (it is the Rocksteady trilogy conclusion), but they're underused and thus feel like forced additions and nothing complete.

If you remember, I won the Season Pass for free and still think it's a disappointment.  Seriously, I'd wait until it's around $10.  Skins for Batman and his Batmobile that are locked to races you'll only play a few times are not worth paying much, if anything, for.  The real content is the very short additional story focused DLC, which are so short you wouldn't go back to them afterwards either. 

$10 is the fair price for this Season Pass, or trade-in your copy and hope for a complete edition, then buy that when it's $20-30.

The telltale back to the future was one of their first games. It was OK for fans but it was truly more of a click and point game. It didn't really have the qte events like others have. I had it for 1.00 on PlayStation and it was OK. It gives a little back story to the movies.
 
I didn't like BTTF all that much compared to TTs more modern games. It was ok on its own merits, though. The achievements would have been hard if not for a guide. So many specific things you need to do to get certain ones. I still have Jurassic Park in plastic lol.
 
I loved Jurassic park. It gets a lot of hate though. You will die in Jurassic park a lot. I had a blast with it though.

Oh gosh. JP by TT was horrid. Even having a guide, it was still a hard game. Only fun to be had in that game is seeing the horrific deaths your main character encounters. Though I had a guide, you WILL die many times. And even though I got a full 1,000/1,000 gamerscore, I look on that game and shudder.

Strange that I would have regret over 1king Jurassic Park but not My Horse and Me 2. I actually enjoyed MHaM2 more than JP

YuGiOh is easily worth $15 I feel. Much better than the two 360 YuGiOh games. Has 4 campaigns with around 30 episodes each and a Duelist Challenge mode where you can face against the storyline characters who will have different decks than in the anime. Also introduces Pendulum summons which I believe is new for the series. Includes a crap ton of cards as well with over 6,000 iirc.

On a side note, I never played the card game as a child and my only experience with the show is watching the original series and I've gotten a lot of playtime from it.

As for Deadpool and Brothers, if you've played them on the 360, I'd say it's not worth their current prices. Deadpool is available at Redbox and can be beaten in a rental or two. Brothers is great if you haven't played it before, but if you're just looking for achievements, I'd wait until it's in the $5-10 range.

If you liked Call of Duty MW2, then you will probably like Black Ops. To me Black Ops 1 was the last decent Call of Duty game. The campaign was fun, but I remember it kind of being all over the place a bit. I had no issues finishing the game and played quite a bit of multiplayer.

I've bought MW3 & AW and really just didn't care for either multiplayer or campaigns. I'm done with Call of Duty unless they go back to WW2 or NAM or something. Titanfall all the way for future warfare, the multiplayer is extremely fun.

I am really enjoying Bedlam a lot. I played through a good chunk of it last night and it definitely held my attention. It does appear like it's fairly short(5-6 hours, maybe more on harder difficulties) and there probably won't be any replay value to it. I liked it for the humor alone which goes a long way for me. It definitely is unique but the closest comparison is probably the Serious Sam games. So it's a short, humorous, arcade shooter with no replay. Hopefully that helps you out.

Also the achievements are easy :)

That JP Telltale game on 360 is fairly valuable b/c MS wouldn't let them do episodic releases for quite awhile. $64-$90 sealed on Amazon.

Their definition of "soon" seems a bit wonky. Remember on the actual Gimme5 promotion day that they said "soon" and it was like 4 hours later that it was actually available haha.

As someone who played through both 360 games & several of the GBA & PSP games I say $15 is too much. The way you have to get cards is grind against the AI or bundles you have to lookup on GameFAQ's to see what cards come with what bundle.

Also all of the mechanics added on to Yugioh over the years make it stupidly easy to win on 1 turn & most of the people online will have those decks.

Highly recommend Magic Duels instead since it's F2P. You can go through now both campaigns & get enough coins to buy like 8 or so packs in addition to the cards they give you to start with & have a much better time IMO (do have to grind AI or online for more coins after campaign or pay money.)

Well broke down and got the Complete Season of Minecraft Story Mode for $20 after tax. Really love Borderlands so Tales from the Borderlands was picked up BF. I really love Minecraft so I'll go with this too. Not a huge fan of TT games but they're better than what I've played in the past.

Holding off on Ori, rather have the best version to play.

need some advice here with a problem

So i have had my xbox one since launch always connected fine to Wifi

so about a week and half ago i had my internet speed upgraded and a new gateway from the provider from installed. Since i had so many devices hooked to wifi they set it up so that the SSID was the same and everything would stay connected which everything has been that i have used. 

but today i go to play the Xbox one for the first time since before the internet was upgraded and when i go to connect to Xbox Live i get this message:

CAN'T CONNECT TO YOUR DHCP SERVER

it pops up and i cant seem to get pass it?

any ideas what happened or how to fix it? since my tv, phone, printer, computer and everything else working just fine.

Standard TCPIP settings I assume?

 
Did your IP scheme change by any chance? If not, you may want to try to set a static IP on your console since it's not able to get an IP from the DHCP server... Have you tried hard resetting your Xbox? Also, is DHCP enabled on your router? I would assume so, as most devices will try to renew the IP once they've been rebooted or reconnected to the network.

Sounds like either it's trying to use a IP address that has already been given out, or you have old Static IP information from the old router plugged in.

What you should do is clear the network settings and all SSID's from the Xbox One and then rejoin the network.

Even if they setup the same Wi-Fi SSID for the new gateway/router is the same, there is a good probability that the IPs are not the same. Some routers use different subnets or the default LAN IP isn't necessarily XXX.XXX.XXX.1 ...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if he has old static IP, it would have nothing to do with DHCP and wouldn't get that particular message - he instead would just not be able to connect to the Xbox Live, let alone the Internet.

thanks for the help guys. I took the advice of doing a hard reset at which point it did then a update when it restarted and then after it finish updating and restarted again it was working fine and connected right away automatically as it normally did.

I still wonder why it had that hiccup this one time though.

 
I just finished the Rise of the Tomb Raider demo and was ready to purchase when I saw the cdkeys deal for Forza Horizon 2 at $26. That's a much better game to have digitally, right? It seems like the perfect sort of game when you just want to drive for a short bit and not have to mess with discs.

Well considering they just reused the SSID on new equipment, if it is trying to use the same address as another device because the Xbox One has the ip info manually plugged in it could very well be the problem. He says he can't get past the message and connect...

Again the easiest thing to do is wipe the SSID and network settings from the Xbox One and rejoin the network. Then log into the gateway/router and create a new DHCP reservation for your Xbox One.

Guys... i am having the TOUGHEST decision deciding on what to buy here. GTAV is on sale right now and i would LOVE to have it. However, Metal Gear is my favorite series ever and it will be a daily deal soon. HOWEVER, I am afraid that once i beat MGSV then i wont play it anymore, so it sounds like a better physical purchase. GTAV will last me basically forever it seems like.
