I've been trying to wait before using my GameStop and Walmart gift cards for Xbox Live credit but other than the two Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 360 games, I've bought nothing on the Countdown sales. Hell, I've seen better deals on the Google Play Store for my Shield TV this week.

I've bought MW3 & AW and really just didn't care for either multiplayer or campaigns. I'm done with Call of Duty unless they go back to WW2 or NAM or something. Titanfall all the way for future warfare, the multiplayer is extremely fun.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm also skeptical because Treyarch made Black Ops and I didn't like Treyarch's previous attempts on COD. Infinity Ward, on the other hand, made the games I liked: Modern Warfare 1, 2, and [the descent] Call of Duty 2.

For WW2 and NAM, I got with Medal of Honor on PS1 and PS2. Even MoH got stale after a while though so I understand where you're coming from.

Weekly deals are definitely better. Right now I'm considering Saints Row IV, Portal, Black Ops, some Dishonored DLC, and the Tomb Raider games.

actually i have TDS which is probably worst then Comcast probably. I had 15mbps for the longest and barely upgraded to 25MBPS and that the fastest we can get here at $50 a month. No other providers are allowed in the area while people 15 miles from me can get 75MBPS for the same price from multiple different options of companies.

i also got the rewards email about the superhero sale, kinda disappointed. I would be all over forza horizon 2 for that price, IF it was on xbox live so i can actually use some of my credit. That and telltale game of thrones is all i am looking forward to for this sale.

 
How much have Just Cause 2 codes been going for? Seems everybody had FO3 that wanted it.

Nah, Pneuma is an interesting couple hour experiment.  The puzzles are just okay, but that last mission/level was interesting.  It's one of those times when I can say "huh, never did or seen that in a game before." so I thought it was worth the time.  Super easy 1000 gamerscore, too.

 
Well, for anyone looking at Chivalry I'd give it a pass. Twitch videos didn't look too bad, but I'm guessing the ones I watched were on pc. I got massive frame rate issues in crowds. I was also getting some rubberbanding, and I normally don't have much lag despite my awful dsl and wifi connection. The dlc is just cosmetic, I'd say the game is worth

It didn't start GwG, but I agree that it's an enjoyable little game.

And every indie game in particular has a decent shot at being a GwG. I've just accepted that fact. If it's a game I want, I buy it. If it's a game that's borderline, I might say, 'ah, maybe it'll be a GwG or PS+ title" and forget about it. You win some and lose some.
 
Wishing I bit on Battlefront when it was $40. I bought it when it came out, played it for like 10 hours and then traded it in for some reason I don't know. (oh yeah I got fucking addicted to Fallout 4 for a couple weeks of my life.) Then I started using my 10 hours with EA Access and everyone told me "you'll get bored with it" and "it's lacking in content blah blah blah." My 10 hours are up and I want more....

I meant to bite on Battlefront for $32 at Best Buy but it's not on sale anymore, oh well, more Smite. I'm level 29.5 on smite, almost capped out! Only 152 hours into it.

These digital sales seem less aimed at game hoarders and more aimed at ppl buying the 1 or 2 games they really like. Would love to see a hoarders sale with a bunch of titles that came out the first few months of Xbox one at $5-10. Yeah I'm looking at you Ryse and Dead Rising 3 etc.
 
I finally own an Xbox One and come back to this sale... Don't get me wrong it's okay but I just remember it bigger where gamers were literally waiting for 7:00 pst to see what the next deal was or maybe I'm just mistaken

Oh, the good old times when I went to a games conference in Italy last year, and found both for 10 Euros as a limited offer. Seeing their generally high prices that was a blessing. Over at Gamesdealdaily I think they have Ryse for like 14 bucks, although it's probably sold out atm.

The first year they did a countdown sale it was amazing, pretty much been downhill since then. Also, xb1 deals in general are very mild compared to 360. I didn't expect much when they advertised this one as being "up to 40-60% off." Which btw, wtf is up with that? Up to x% off makes sense, up to a range just looks goofy. Is it up to 40% off or up to 60%? Am I the only one speaking English?!

Which I find very odd because it was that price on the website on Monday only, and then it was that price when I went to the actual store yesterday.
Then the deal is the day today for the same price?
And it was on sale for this the week before last at BB and last week at GS.
What the Hell is going on with this?

I thought I really wanted this, and almost bought it when I left the theater after seeing Force Awakens, but BB does not add GCU when price matching, so I held off..... $50 season pass is STILL keeping me from it.
