Started Ryse last night.  It is not nearly as bad as the reviews would lead one to believe. The combat is shallow but for me at least it is not easy.  The executions are bit of a win button but they are fun.  The story so far is good enough and the graphics and art direction are top notch.  Glad I decided to open up my legendary copy.  I hope the MP has a bit of fun in it also but I will most likely try to beat the game on Legendary also.

Let us know if you feel the same way once you're 4 hours or so in. I really enjoyed it at first, but it got really repetitive and by the end, I couldn't wait for it to be over.

Never saw anyone complain about this before. I thought it was just me. I mostly use Chrome on my desktop and laptop and I mostly use the metro IE on my surface and I have issues on all three. Sometimes there's no problem, but when there is it is brutal. Been meaning to go pro anyway though.

Pfft, it's still great. Of course, as a straight-up action movie, Demolition Man is completely stupid. But as a satire, it's absolute genius. That's why it has enduring charm. I love Last Action Hero for very similar reasons.

I have to say, it's pretty awesome watching the delivery driver for Amazon Prime Now snake through my town on his way here with my BLOPS3. :D

Hands up for BO3 players: it uses a different port for online mp, which is UDP 3075. Apparently it's the same for older COD games on X1 but this is my first next-gen COD I buy so I didn't know. I couldn't find matches until I opened the port and restarted the router,

Yup, luckily this COD tells you which port you need to open. If you go to settings-networks it tells you everything about your network. NAT, speed, public IP, local IP.

I hope the speed is upload though, I don't think I have 400 kbps download lol

 
So I finally got hit with the NOXEXEO or whatever update. Don't like it at first blush, no idea where anything is. Like how do I quickly get to all my installed games?

I think they mentioned that games that used 360 peripherals were not going to be Backwards Compatible. I doubt we will see Dance Central or any other Kinect only games.

I have 6.5 Mbps download and 0.4 Mbps upload. Unless you live in Milan or in an university you can only aim for a 20/5 Mbps connection, if you're lucky. I'm not lol

Noone has caps here though, unless you use internet through 3G/LTE

It seems to be decent for the price. Reminds me a bit of Audiosurf without the custom music. Only 10 tracks which have an regular and hardcore mode. Tracks are randomized, but I'd say the replay is fairly low once you grab all the achievements which for the most part don't seem terribly difficult.

 
The fridge is awesome, my gf loves it I think more than I do. Game is fun, godly I find time for it and halo and Fallout.

You will find it's much faster. On the home page, pull the right trigger and it takes you straight to your pins (which includes your games and apps). Altough the games and apps screen hasn't changed much, I've noticed that is is way faster to navigate. It doesn't take a second or two to load up a few of the game icons, it seems to pull up almost instantly.

If you want to or view messages or messages, just hit the guide/home button and go left (I could be wrong but double tapping the guide/home button might have the same function). Starting a party takes about two seconds, depending on how many people you invite.

 
Am I a crazy person, or is the voiceover announcer in Black Ops 3 multiplayer, the same guy on AMC who says "Next time on an all new episode of the Walking Dead..."

I swear it is the same voice...
