I had to restart Skyrim twice. The first time because I wasn't saving often enough (using different slots) and I literally got stuck in a door. It wouldn't open at all, Lydia wasn't there so I couldn't die. I couldn't do anything. The second time because Lydia couldn't join as my follower, saying I had someone else, even though I didn't.

Ya, it's a shame they didn't put out an Elder Scrolls game this year. It could have been a real summer blockbuster. Especially if they made it multiplayer, oh man... I guess I'll just have to keep dreaming.

Yes.

Leveling up to "max" level was great, fun, enjoyable.

Then you just farm the same quests over and over to keep re-reaching max level (veteran levels). Worst design in mmo history.

If you're talking about settlements that you can modify (pretty much all the Minutemen missions) then you need to set that up yourself. Go to Diamond City

So what do you do in Skyrim after you finish the main story and hit max level? Oh right, NOTHING.

As for ESO, you could run quests in the other faction's zones, run instances, pvp, run around in the new end game expansion area, level up other skills/weapons/armor types, craft, level alts... I'm sorry mmo end game is boring for you, maybe that means you don't like mmos? Do you play with friends or solo? Cause one of those is basically the wrong way to play.
 
PvP in ESO is the way to go after getting max, but I can see it eventually becoming boring. I've probably got close to 100 hours played of PvP and still not bored of it yet. Even when it does get boring, that make the game a POS though. Especially when you've had hundreds (or thousands) of fun hours played.

The first dlc changes up PvP quite a bit. The next DLC comes out on the 17th. Available for all levels. Looking forward to it.

Gems of War is pretty much just slightly re-skinned Puzzle Quest. If you like PQ, you'll probably like it. I've read there's about an hour available for free then you have to either pay or wait for more coins. If you have patience, it should be a fun and free 1,000 GS.
 
This question is totally unrelated to Live, but does anyone know if GameStop offers disc resurfacing anymore? I just picked up a bunch of original Xbox games from Goodwill this afternoon (Halo, Rainbow Six 3, Medal of Honor: European Assault, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell). Before anyone says anything about remasters, I'm just trying to see if I can fix them up. I still own my original Xbox along with my 360 and my One.

GS doesn't, but I dont know how national it is, there's a place called Play n Trade that does resurfacing for like $5

If you have any left near you, most rental stores will do it. Family Videos usually charge a dollar or free. Gamestop I used to live by was next door to FV. If they tried to charge cleaning fee for trade ins, I'd just walk next door and get it cleaned for free.

I got COD4 from a guy that broke his copy. Brought it to FV and had them clean it. Worked like new.

An easier method of cleaning discs is just putting it in your toilet then flushing. Unless disc sizes have changed much in the past 10 years, this method still works. Obviously make sure the toilet is clean first and that you don't have some weird plus sized toilet.
 
Just some food for thought. If you want any BC games that you don't already own, I'd grab them now. I went to repurchase Mass Effect at GameStop and it was marked $6.99. Went to the register and it rang up $9.99. They gave me the lower price and I don't know when it went up, but it would not shock me at all to see places like GS jack up prices on BC games.

The story ought to be bigger than life about badass super soldiers in futuristic setting, haven't played ops 3 yet but I expect some impressive shit. Advanced Warfare falls into same parallel about future military and stuff. Perse I did like the story in Advance Warfare, it was a fine spectacle; they did put Kevin Spacey in there boy doesn't he love to exhibit Power?

Trayarch has distinguished themselves in story telling as oppose to Infinity Ward. Infinity Ward themes are more composed and solid whether Trayarch is more inclined to take risks and deviations which I really like.

So while everyone is enjoying Fallout 4 I'm running through New Vegas for the first time finally lol. I'm really liking it a lot, Fallout 3 is one of my all time favorites, so why I haven't gotten around to NV yet I'm not sure. I'm debating rebuying an Xbox One, but when I still have so much shit in my 360 backlog untouched, I'm thinking why bother. Really want to play Battlefront though, so hopefully the terms and conditions for next weeks Target ad are reasonable so I can consider getting another at a good price.

You're supposed to be breaking down your excess items into crafting materials if you aren't selling them. You still end up shopping g a bunch, but your companion can also carry a bunch for you
