I'm still bitter there's an iPad/iPhone port but not one for Android.

Don't completely eliminate the crew, or the ship will start auto repairing and becomes a total nightmare.

I caved and bought it. It's fun and frustrating at the same time. Mainly because of my competitive nature and desire to win. I played with my wife and kids (9 & 5). It is really hectic and requires strong team work in order to three star each level. I've done the four player campaign and I can see it not being as fun without the added chaos other players give you.

 
I ended up buying it and it's a funny as hell, played 3 players co-op but we got stuck at level 3-2 it's too much work for just 3 so we will wait for another player tomorrow , definitely worthe money :)

Those 2 games can be snapped, which is probably why they got moved. Will probably require another update to fix how things are categorized.

 
So I have a code from the choose your game bundle.  I already have Forza 6, beat RotR and wouldn't go back except for maybe if the season pass was insanely cheap, Gears even though I don't like Gears and have all the 360 games, or Rare Replay though I have most of the games I would ever play through XBL already.  So which do I get?

Sell it in the trading forum? You should get a decent amount and then you can buy whatever you want. :)

I doubt it would get that much. Gears and Rare aren't worth much of anything, RotR isn't worth much more. Forza hasn't dipped much though. Dealing with people though and I never know what to ask for that sort of stuff.

Appreciate the impressions. I'd only be playing with my wife if I got it. Is it still fun/doable with just two people? Do they have AI characters filling in or something?

Me and my girlfriend played it for a solid hour and a half last night and it's a blast with two people. It will definitely test your relationship though, we were screaming at each other like Gordon ramsay, lol. We haven't made it to further stages so I don't know how difficult it will be for 2 people once you advance further. No AI help.
 
off topic, sorry to ask here for help, but someone could explain me how delete dlc's of games I don't own. already installed the new xbox update.

So, if I were to game share with my brother who lives in another state, will my kids lose the ability to play the games on my console, Gold privileges and EA Access?

 
Log into Overwatch for a free loot box for the start of the Summer Olympics. They have a Russia skin for the olympics, didn't Russia get mostly banned from the games?

To game share, you basically have to setup another Xbox (your brother's) as your home console which means that you only have access to your games, Gold, and EA Access, when you're logged in to your Xbox. Your kids will have to log you in along side of themselves to access that stuff once you do this. It's really not that bad as long as you don't mind being logged in when you're not actually on. Also, i'm not quite certain about their ability to play online, but i'm pretty sure they can still do this since you'll be logged in. I can definitely vouch for EA Access and regular games working for non-online play in this setup.

I believe they can keep those privileges if you sign in your account on your xbox at the same time they are playing

Yes, but you can tell that most Overwatch characters do not follow standard Olympic protocols.

 
I believe they could simply have your profile signed on as they could access your content like EA access, games and play online while selecting and using their own profiles. When you game share you access whatever content your bro has. So they won't be able to use EA access and stuff using only their profiles if your bro doesn't have it.

Also what's neat is that I game share with my bro but I could sign on using my nephew profile and play my nephews games too only if he's not on. It's a nice way to "rent" and play games that we don't have on our accounts.

Larry says you can now redeem codes directly from the Xbox iPhone/Android app (aka Smartglass).

This is a pretty significant update. Nice not having to redeem via the Xbox mobile website anymore.

So I had very limited time with two players and that time was in versus mode. I played against my wife and we each had a kitchen with a divider going down the middle separating our kitchens. In our kitchens we had two characters we could control and you toggle between the characters with the bumpers. It takes a little getting used to but is manageable. My wife isn't a gamer but I can talk her into playing some games here and there and she was able to grasp the toggle concept and control two characters. The game also makes it accessible by switching to a character initiating a task and then switching over to your other character, the first character will see that task to completion without having to actually have that character selected and hold the action button the whole time.

There is also split controller schemes which I haven't had a chance to experiment with yet. From what it appears, the split is a vertical split down the center of the controller. It appears to be so that you can play four players with only two controllers. The left half is one players control with the left analog stick, left bumper and trigger. The right half is the second players control with the right analog stick, right bumper and trigger.

We're past 9am Pacific on a Thursday morning.  Major was supposed to have announced, like, 10 BC games by now...

There's no rumor or anything, I just kind of have unrealistically high expectations for Thursdays - based on previous weeks.

Any CAGers get Fru? Didn't realize how good of reviews it was getting. A 9.5 from Destructoid for a Kinect game?

Might actually pick it up to get some use out of my dust gathering Kinect.

I bought it week 1 since it was only 10 bucks. Haven't messed with it yet but I probably will this weekend. Ideally this would sell like crazy and we'd get more innovative Kinect games, but...yeah, that ain't happening.

Nice to see them get strong reviews though.

Yeah, wish I had bit when it was $10 myself. Might wait for a sale, but it does sound good.
 
Okay I know I must be missing something, but how the fuck do you find all the sale games on the dashboard? I can only find the "Deals with Gold" section. Where's the Bethesda stuff at?

Shouldn't you just be able to log into your account? Don't think there's any need to physically transfer things. And you can use the cloud for saves.

Xbox One purchases are now all linked to the account and the "Home" unit. All you have to do is log on to your new unit and set it as your "Home" console in the settings and everything should be good to go. Plus all your game saves should be held in the cloud so long as you play while online and will be synced the next time you boot up each respective game on the new unit.

They have made it 100x easier than last gen with the 360 and buying a new unit.

That's where it should be. I know when I go there right now, it still shows last weeks deals. Something is screwed up.
