I am still not sure I want to pay $6.50 for that little of content since I also just got the game from Best Buy for $16. The LEGO completionist in me will most likely win out though. I assume it is just 3 added levels and a bunch of characters.

Yeah if the Lego Batman 3 DLC is an indicator, the DLC levels are maybe 15 minutes long each, usually fairly fun though. It's as much about the character fanservice (and the achievements) as anything else.
 
I went ahead and picked up the Forza DLC I didn't already have, even Horizon 1 even though it doesn't appear to be working correctly in the game. At least I couldn't get the stuff to load correctly.

 
So any update on Bioshock BC? I remember picking them up on the cheap last holiday season and now that they've released the collection I'm hoping its only a matter of time.

Absolutely love these three games. The collection is $60 though. :( For $40 I would have been there day 1. Now I'll probably wait for the first big drop. Anyone who hasn't played the Ezio games already though, you owe this to yourself.

I'd be shocked if that happens now. I can't imagine them doing that when the remasters are out. Are there even any BC games available for games that have gotten the remaster treatment?

Valid point. I specifically picked up these games being that they showed pictures of Bioshock on the BC pictures they put out at one point. Now they do a remaster and I can't play them. Well maybe in another 5 years.

It's splitting hairs but they had Stick of Truth available as BC, then released a "remaster" version that is bundled with Fractured But Whole. The BC version was first then the remaster version. Also I think Castle Crashers as well.

Not on Force Awakens, but this did happen to me with Lego Batman 3 recently. Deleting the save file from my local HDD and re-syncing from the cloud fixed it.

WB Games go on sale more often than not, I don't see how it won't go on sale again for a lower price. Biggest problem is XBox Black Friday Deals have sucked overall for the last few years so worse comes to worse, it'll probably go on sale around the same price around than probably,

It depends on how picky you are on a game's performance. If you can get over things like (very) delayed texture popping, playing on a scrubbed down version and whatnot, go for it. I found it enjoyable on 360, but I'm just picking up the One version now so I can't yet compare the two, but I did get a good 20-30 hours of solid gameplay out of the 360 version. For $5, I'd say go for it if you aren't moving to XB1 soon. However, I'd equally recommend putting that $5 towards the $10 and buying the XB1 version now so u have it when you upgrade. $10 for a GOTY version is a steal.

AC Ezio Collection does not include multiplayer modes. But the edges are sharper, right? So that makes the game better now, right? Enough to pay $60 for some games that we already own that were so close to going BC?

I'm trying to bite my tongue but I already bit it off long ago, chopped it up into tiny pieces, and mailed a piece to every person that pre-ordered the $60 Bioshock Trilogy.

I have a gaming PC plugged into my TV. I hate using it because I hate the PC gaming community and their "console peasant" attitude. I enjoy earning achievements and playing with my friends, all casual gamers. But on PC the AC games run at 1080p, 60fps with minimal hardware upgrades, and still have fairly active online communities. They're just communities I don't like, so I stick with consoles, and I like having all my games on one console/device. I guess at some point I just have to pick my poison. The fact that people not only buy these half-assed remasters (thus promoting more of them), but find them pre-order worthy, makes my skin crawl. They could at least try to match their PC counterparts and pull out all the stops if we're to buy these games again, but they know they don't have to, so they don't.

I am currently transition to pc, with a htpc build with a 1060 mini and it's great. It's so cheap. I figure with xbox transitioning to play anywhere I will just be a pc gamer in the future and get the best of both worlds.

I've done that several times, and always end up switching back to console (after obtaining ~1,200 Steam games from various bundles and sales). The Steam world is very lonely. And as much as I love killing time in an online game here and there, PC gamers seem much more competitive. I'm the kind of person that'll play CoD not caring if I win or lose, just trying to get some kills, level up, unlock more stuff and have fun with what little gaming time I have these days. That attitude right there is probably enough to get me banned from Steam entirely.

I only know two people in-person that are PC gamers, and I'd rather not game with them. They're very much the stereotypical mouth-breathing anti-social South Park WoW episode type who play strictly RTS games and CS. I would mostly just play console ports.

Unfortunately, while BC sells some cheap digital copies, publishers want games they can put in retail, and retailers want products they can sell. As much as digital games have become a standard thing for many people, the brick and mortar gaming market isn't going anywhere any time soon. These remasters can be pumped out for a fraction of the cost of developing new games, which is even more significant in the HD/4k/AAA present and future of the current gen, because HD game development ain't cheap.

I don't mind it so much, especially when these releases include all DLC etc, assuming they run well and are good ports. I don't have a PS4 yet but I'd love to replay the Uncharted Collection, for example. Removing features, though, that is pretty shitty.

Yeah I saw that from a GameInformer post lol, not great but I submitted a vocal take. I just used my phone so the quality could be better but yeah I don't have a mic like I used to anymore (kinda stepped away from PC gaming/video editing/3D rendering, etc). Was a big RTS guy too, sad that they haven't really gotten that right on console although I thought Supreme Commander 2 and LotR: Battle for Middle Earth II were successful.

As I may or may not have blindly accepted an NDA without reading it, I can neither confirm nor deny my involement in the For Honor Closed Alpha brought to you by Ubisoft. I can say (hopefully) that those invited may invite 3 others, who in turn do not have invites to share futher. It is slow and may take multiple attempts, but you can invite friends from xbl/psn to be uplay friends and while that invitation is pending you can go back and invite them to the alpha as well.

Well in that case. My Uplay account is Greenarr0w and I can neither confirm nor deny that I would play the shit out of this alpha if someone were to send an invite my way. I live for NDAs.

Haven't played any of them, but yes, I'll be waiting for a deep discount in 2017 before jumping in. My plate is full with remasters this year already (BioShock trilogy, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, Modern Warfare Remastered).

Have to admit I'm a little perturbed that they cut out multiplayer completely but still want to charge $60. I know some people didn't like it but at least it added some longevity to the games for those who did.

It depends on how picky you are on a game's performance. If you can get over things like (very) delayed texture popping, playing on a scrubbed down version and whatnot, go for it. I found it enjoyable on 360, but I'm just picking up the One version now so I can't yet compare the two, but I did get a good 20-30 hours of solid gameplay out of the 360 version. For $5, I'd say go for it if you aren't moving to XB1 soon. However, I'd equally recommend putting that $5 towards the $10 and buying the XB1 version now so u have it when you upgrade. $10 for a GOTY version is a steal.

I got strangely addicted to war in the north. It's a really fun action rpg and the lotr story line is just frosting on the cake. There's also a really simple glitch to get unlimited gold, which makes it even more fun, imo. Takes out the grind so you can just ficus on story/leveling.
 
If you are a fan of Bioshock, and bought the remaster collection I'd suggest checking out the museum. I've only gone to the one for Bioshock 1, but I thought it was very cool. It has a bunch of cut content and some of the early sketches and concept art. I normally don't like that kind of stuff, but enjoyed this.

If you haven't played the game at all it best to hold off until after you've beaten it

That's super cheesy. I'm going for it legit right now. Well as legit as saving every 5 minutes and being prepared to reload is. Haven't died yet though, have played this game so many times I remember where all the health packs and eve hypos are
 
Here's a pic & gif I took while playing the FH3 demo. That drone cam is great...you're not tethered to anything and can just fly around the map following any cars.
