I'm wondering this as well. I've got my 8TB hooked up, transferred everything from my old 3TB external over, and set the options to download 4k assets to "checked". I've now been waiting 2 weeks or so, and checking my games and apps for updates and for "Xbox one X enhanced" games, and...nothing lol

Yeah, those are the ones. TA has when they start, but they don't have the end date until they are underway. The achievement tracker on the system has the start and end dates.

I still hadn't received an email yet, so I just check on my pre-order status. Amazon checked into my specific order and said I was still guaranteed to receive the XB1X:ScorpioEd on November 7th...even if I hadn't received the email yet.

I'm reading online that the vast majority of Amazon users have received their pre-order confirmation of the Xbox One X: Scorpio Edition console by now. I believe I pre-ordered mine within five minutes of the product going live on Amazon with delivery expected on November 7th 2017, so I thought I would be included in the original allotment.
Others whom did not receive an official release date confirmation of the product said they spoke to Amazon Chat, Chat looked into it, and the product was promptly scheduled for release date delivery. I am hoping you can do the same for me, too. I would appreciate it if you could check on the status of this pre-order and see about getting me an official release date confirmation, please.

Should I get DR4 if I like the 3rd one? I am really on the fence with the lack of Story Co-op..... That's what made the series great for me in the past.

They’re way different than each other IMO. DR4 is almost an arcade shooter — just slaughter as many zombies as possible. Not much of a challenge and not as much of the survival type stuff from DR3. It’s also built more around just being plain silly.

I enjoyed it for those reasons — having fun. But know others didn’t like it for those same reasons.

but credit hasn't been a hot deal in a few months so now I'm gonna be forced into making a gambler's choice

I really liked the 900e. I had a small space to fit my new 4k in so ended getting something else. But definitely liked the 900e.

Is there a new "hot deal" every month? Right now in Canada, MS credit is the hot deal and 12 months of Gold is 29k as normal.

 
The countdown for NBA Live 18 : The One Edition was for a price drop.  It's $29.99 now.

UFC 2 Deluxe and XCOM 2 standard and deluxe are counting down to date night.  XCOM 2 will probably flip from regular discounts for the free play weekend to Gold only.

 
In Vancouver BC on vacation and Microsoft reset my region automatically based on my IP address. Now my MS rewards daily limits are all weird. I could use my VPN as a work around but I'll be back inv the US tomorrow.

I'm on the west coast, so I got to see the end. Kind of unfortunate how long these things can last, though, as most of the country probably went to bed hours ago. 5 hours and 17 minutes...? Before a back-to-work Monday...?

But an amazing game.

If you can swing it...the 65" LG C7 OLED is beautiful. Incredible viewing angles. My total price was $1750. (Purchased at a local store for $2250 then used my Visa price guarantee to knock $500 off by price matching one of those online stores that you would never buy from)

 
Yeah is watching the score of the WAS game on the ticker with the Western Div MLS game but then forgot about this weekend's forzathon lol.

So I couldn't get the Don't let us down challenge, fuck that danger sign. There's always A.I. driving on that route and even with a fast light car there's too many bumps for me to get up to speed. That or the car turns on you after the jump.

I did however manage to get Going Supernova achievement, grabbing all the stars on Blizzard Mountain. There were two events I just couldn't three star for the life of me: Steep Descent Drift Zone & Tight Bends Speed Zone. Again traffic would always go where I needed to go! After many many attempts I finally figured out how to do 'em and they're done damnit! Check, mark it off the list!

It says a new vehicle is added to your garage. Um could you actually tell me what the f I got? Is it the 2013 Ram Runner HE?!

I think I've settled on the B7. The C is $200 more right now at BB. I'm pretty excited about upgrading to OLED. Picturing Gears 4 in 4K HDR on the X *drools uncontrollably*

Yes it's the Ram Runner. When i was in a quest to get all HE vehicles I always wondered why it was so expensive in the auction house, that was why. It's the only way to get it.
 
Sonic Racing Transformed hasn't budged on its sale price for a year, splurged on it finally due to having some bday cash.

Can anyone recommend Technomancer for $10 or is it a hard pass? The reviews seem pretty blah but I didn’t think the gameplay videos looked too bad.

I believe the game warns you that he has taken the safety off of the trigger and if you say go ahead and punch, he shoots you.
Kinda like in Shadowgate where the big spider lives.

 
The Sony Paris Games Week pre-show is starting in about 15 minutes. It will probably be mostly exclusives, but surely some multiplatform stuff will be there. Personally I'm hoping to see REmake 2 or a Soul Calibur VI announcement.

 
AoM is very tempting but I have enough games in my backlog and I know I won't have time to play it. Unless you're dying to have something right now, it's officially waiting season til the end of November for heavy discounts.

Have to check the TA listing for the challenge and the Forza forums for tunes from people that have successfully done challenges. I wasn't able to do it with the build from TA, but I got nearly 840 feet with the one posted on the Forza forums. The other traffic on the road is always a PITA. It's like the game always knows. Just like whenever I fast travel to some location for a PR stunt, it always faces me the opposite direction unless I've picked that stunt as a destination first.

Congrats on the Supernova achievement. That Tight Bends zone is the last PR stunt I need. Still need a few other races. I try to avoid blueprinting a route to help me complete it, but some of the ones I still need may require it.

Not really many new third-parties during the PS show. Guacamelee 2 and Spelunky 2 in the pre-show. Onrush I think was the only big new multiplat, a very goofy looking racer from CodeMasters.

Monster Hunter World has a cool exclusive, play as Aloy from Horizion Zero Dawn. MH usually has a decent amount of cross-over stuff, so I wouldn't totally rule out one for Xbox, though I don't really know who they could do. Maybe just some themed armor would be easier.

They showed the first trailer for the Osiris Destiny 2 DLC too.

The rest of it was mostly updates on exclusives. Last of Us II, Detroit: Become Human, Spider-Man, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War. One cool looking samurai game announced from the Infamous devs, Ghost of Tsushima.

 
We better be getting that X patch for MGS5. I just saw PS4 Pro is getting one.

I complied a list of titles that have pro patches but no word of X patches. If I am wrong feel free to correct me so I can add/delete some titles. I heard BLOPS 3 might be getting a X patch and Battlefield 1 all but seems confirmed, but holding off till It's on the microsoft website. Also Marvel vs Capcom got re-added to the xbox.com list.

List of titles with no X patches but have Pro patches. I believe we are at 46 games, probably missing some other indie titles.

I really enjoyed it but the game is far from perfect. It takes place after Mars War Logs I believe and in the same universe. The combat is wonky at times and requires a ton of dodge rolling on higher difficulty levels, but it is really fun and I enjoyed the story line. I spent $16 on it and don't regret the purchase. Just don't expect perfection and look for soul and you will be presently surprised.

Out of all those games you listed, I'm mostly interested in Andromeda getting a patch for 1X.....BUT..... it won't get it since the franchise has been swept under the rug for the foreseeable future.

I hope DX Mankind Divided and Prey get one as well.

(It won't be.  We'll get GTA5 credit and NBA 2K18 credit and generic indies.  The real sale will happen next week.)

I the season pass includes everything, at $30 normally, and has hit $7 a few times. I'd say get the game and wait for the holiday sales to pick up the DLC.

Andromeda seems like a hail mary considering they basically killed all support for the game, but if it's as easy as MS says to make patches it could still happen, but would probably require some MS intertvention of some sorts (aka sending a guy over to the studio and/or some $$$).

DX is another hail mary considering the state of developement as well *BUT* MS has a great partnership with Square Enix and we are seeing a TR patch despite the age of the game so you never know.

Prey seems like a good contender but sales were poor. Who knows.

I'm stuck with at least 3 games that are up in the air for patches (that are on Pro). I already bought Deus Ex long ago and never finished it. Mass Effect was *free* but is stuck in backlog hell so I'll give it time. Just bought Tides of Numera didn't even know it had a PS4 Pro patch. Oh well.

I'm hoping we get more old games that see X patches but not sure how much money is in them doing that. At least we know any game will look better regardless because built in AF as well as the faster load times and hitting targeted frame rates with more power.

I was actually hoping Just Cause 3 would get a patch as it runs like shit sometimes. If memory serves, the game does run a little better on PS4 Pro while on boost mode.

Yeah I figured I'd need to tune it but I came in with the Forzathon timer getting fairly close to zero so I said aah f it. Also didn't do the Playground games one, been there done that & most of the time people don't want to do them online lol.

The Tight Bends Speed Zone can actually be done by cutting through as long as you get around those trees and rocks. When I figured that out I facepalmed because I was making it a lot harder via sticking with the road - thinking I'd lose progress cutting the road by driving straight off road and back onto the road again.

Microsoft really talked up Scorpio's boost mode before it was officially unveiled as Xbox One X. Now all of the marketing focus has shifted to talking about proper "Enhanced" games - and justifiably so. If you're going to sell a 4K console, you should show off some true 4K assets.

But the bigger selling point for me is actually boost mode: four years of Xbox One games running better than ever. Stable frame rates, always at the high end of their dynamic resolution, with faster loading times, and reduced pop-in. I literally cannot wait for Digital Foundry tests on XB1X boost mode; the true secret sauce of XB1X and the Microsoft software engineering team.
