That's where I misunderstood. I read "same game" not "same version". A quick look at the screenshots shows that they're all the classic games. That was my mistake.
 
Bards tale from the Xbox game pass is a great game if you enjoy retro platformers ala megaman/ghouls n goblins.It starts off hard and a bit challenging but after your 5th game you should get the hang of it and the bosses are neat as well along with the power ups.I recently 1000gs and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.

After one year and eleven months, I have finally finished Crysis 3 :)

On my way to reaching my goal of finishing 5 games before school starts.

They shouldn't do that, I'm pretty sure torture is illegal. (Also I would very much hate that, despite appreciating the math reasoning behind it. Well, except the non-available achievement, that's just mean.)

Glad you mentioned this. Somehow my contact email changed from my actual login email forever ago. I never check that email, but it seems it's the one MS email received there in years. Wish I hadn't panic bought Shadow of Mordor so this code could have been used for it. Oh well.

It's a study in the art of game design. Your move leads the enemy, you pause and the enemy pauses. You or them are all one shot and the sound helps set the mood. Very trippy experience. Will leave you smiling quite often.

Two of the hardest games I've played. I'm pretty sure both those games took the life of a controller at some point in my childhood.

I love the series and vote for the deluxe, as SPs don't often go on sale by themselves.

Prob been mentioned, but that Best Buy laptop trade in deal they're running right now is killer. $75 gc for basically any working laptop.

Traded in a 2005 Toshiba laptop with a mighty Intel Centrino processor running Windows 98.

Now to wait out the B2G1 deal.

Yea, I'm on the fence with RE7 because even though I love every Resident Evil, the backlog is super strong. So I think if i hold off it might be 30$ by black friday. Good lookin out p0rn0saur!

Been playing rocket league a lot today. Lost the first 8 matches then won the next 8!

Frame rate drops are out of control. No idea why but having a lot of frame rate issues with the latest update.

Also found out people pay real $ for crates and what not, but I bet that's chargeback heaven with Paypal.

 
^^^Haven't played Rocket League in a few months until last night for the new update. During free play weekend, I won a lot from all the new players, but last night I was totally owned in pretty much every match by total pro "only play this game" type of players. Several pretty much only had Rocket League on their gamercard. Thank goodness for the Forfeit option to lessen the beatdowns. So what's to stop people from Forfeiting every match for quick item farming? Doesn't seem to be an in-game penalty.

I have some crates if anyone wants to trade one or two for a very rare item. I don't plan to open them.

Got me real excited there for a second, but I think you mean Bard's Gold.

The Bard's Tale is an old PC series that got a remake in 2005 by the Wasteland 2 developers. Thought they ported the remake to Xbone without me noticing.

Excited for Bard's Tale 4. :bouncy:

Keep posting them because I've been forgetting basically every Thursday. I already had Civ Rev, so no big loss there but this is another one of those head scratchers where MS doesn't seem to be invested in their own Rewards program at all. I know it's run 3rd party but maybe the Major could put out a tweet or something at least.

 
Yeah I already got four items (currently customized with Portal wheels & MeSeeks guy on my car lol) from the Rick & Morty addition for Rocket League. Awesome update, we got new music too lol. I didn't play the new arena yet, only did some matches of Dropshot. Yeah I see they seperated casual and completive playlists.
 
So, the gifting games got me thinking... is the idea for gamesharing dead?  I could have sworn a few years ago, right before I finally got my XBox 1 (I got the white SSO edition on release day) that I read gamesharing was still in the pipeline.  And I'm not talking about the home console setting trick, as the article I was reading referred to that a temporary stop-gap.  

I know it was kind of the flip-side to the disc-tied-to-console idea where you might not be able to get rid of physical copies, but you could digitally share it with 5 friends, and then the idea was restructured getting rid of the tied discs but you could share digital purchases with 5 friends.  I'm guessing that the idea has been swept under the rug?  I've not really heard about it since.

I traded in my two fat Xbox Ones last year for two Xbox One S(es). Looking at my spreadsheet from that day, it was $150 the day before, and $130 when I traded in (I think there was a $20 bonus on the actual day).

I'm trading mine to Amazon for $116. Don't really have faith in GameStop giving more than that for the fat when the Xbox One S new with game is selling for $200.

Forfeiting is only an option in the ranked playlist, it only takes effect when everyone on one team votes to forfeit, and forfeiting reduces your competitive ranking (counts as a loss). If anyone is looking for quick drops, the 1v1 competitive playlist is probably the place to go. If you're trouncing the other person, they'll most likely forfeit (if they haven't already as soon as the game starts), and if you're getting owned, you can forfeit for the quick drop and to save face.

One of my friends plays ranked 1v1 and on the day of the update, a huge majority of his opponents kept forfeiting not only for the drops but also for a quick chance to get the new crates, which are highly sought after since they are new.

Also -- they are doing a double drop-rate weekend for the first time ever (means you have double the chances of getting drops; not necessarily that you'll get two drops per game).

For the Forza Horizon 3 challenge savvy.   In this weekend's #Forzathon Freedom Of The Road challenge, were you able to get it in championship races or must they be exhibition races?  I just started a three race Classic Muscle custom championship (using the 1969 Charger Daytona HEMI) but the progress bar on my #Forzathon tracker did not move after finishing the first race.

I did a championship last night and it popped after the 3rd one no problem.

As far as I saw all the features tied to that trainwreck of a launch were scrapped when they shifted gears. I don't remember it coming up again, and the few people that actually liked the Xbone announcement plans championed the loss of that feature pretty hard since it was the only objectively good thing.

My first few competitive matches seemed to have RLCS-level people in it doing crazy aerial moves that no normal people could do.

Don't really see the point of forfeiting most of the time. At least not until it's really bad (4+ within two minutes maybe). People doing it down by 1-3 goals can get fucked, as I'll refuse them. They should blocked forfeiters from getting any items.

 
The urge to forfeit can be there, but Dark Rider and I have come back from down 3 goals with less than a minute left to win before so anything is possible in that game.

#Forzathon tracker? You mean in the game's menu under Forzathon, or the XB1's achievement progress tracker? I never saw Forzathon challenge progress show up in the game's menu, but the achievement tracker should show progress.
