Yeah, I took the bait like an idiot. What they were saying was much worse, but I'm sure they didn't use any words that would be auto flagged which my word certainly was. Live and learn, at least it was only a day and it's over now. I did report their messages as well, but not til I was already banned so I'm sure nothing happened

As someone who's played all DLC for all three modern Fallout's, I would say definitely wait for a sale. I bought the season pass for 4 at $30 before the price range, and even at that price I'd say it was a stretch. You get:

-small DLC with a single questline in the original Commonwealth map, adds more options to building robots.

-large story DLC in a swampy area, many new quest.

-large story DLC in an amusement park. New quests and area

-THREE bullshit settlement workshop add-ons that give you more items for settlement building.

Compared to the 4 story add-ons of New Vegas and 5 of F3, this run of DLC was a joke. While the two new areas are pretty big, there are only two. The settlement additions really feel like they should have been bonus and not counted toward the total DLC for the season pass, and the inclusion of mods makes them so much worse as modders were able to add in much more before the first workshop DLC even came out. I think that is going to get worse when the Creation Club comes out if Bethesda is allowing them to make settlement expansions, and those won't block achievements like current mods do.

Anyways, the real problem is the fact that they had the balls to jump to $50 for this season pass, meaning it "goes on sale" at $30. If you haven't been able to keep interest in the base game I don't think the DLC is going to change that for you. Nuka World is the most interesting area Bethesda has added to their games, but I don't think any of these DLCs really had the charm of the New Vegas add-ons. The Mechanist DLC is the only thing that really does anything to spice up the main game, as building custom robot companions can be pretty cool.

 
The bigger problem with Fallout 4 was making settlements a major thing when the only time they serve a purpose is in survival mode.

I look forward to getting this for my backlog. I love GOTY editions as they are the perfect addition to a backlog because I can have a false sense of pride for waiting for the complete version before letting it sit on my shelf for years before playing it. May need to finish Fallout 3 DLC and most of New Vegas before then though.
 
 
 
Question bout the Cuphead.......Is it only releasing on digital, and is there any preorder bonuses anywhere? Thus far I can only find digital, and it looks like there is no bonus so there really isn't any reason to buy it before reviews are in.

Digital only. Wait for reviews. It has been delayed 47 times, be wary. It might not be the game you think it is.

It very well could be the greatest game ever made. But I would wait if I were you.

I'm about to play the last episode of A New Frontier and I actually like it better than the previous two. It has been cool to see what Clem has been shaped into. I like most of the new characters. The only one that gets on my nerves is Kate. I don't like that she is trying to jump Javi's bones every time you turn around even before the outbreak. She must think Javi doesn't have any loyalty to his brother.

i've never used the cable that came with the elite controller. that's dumb they went cheap on the cable.

This isn't true. The cable charges the controller just fine. I have noticed that when you unplug it, it tends to make the controller hiccup for a second and then it's back to normal.

I guess maybe the battery just requires a higher charge to operate the Elite. Left it plugged in for a few hours longer and had no problems with it not turning on after I disconnect

 
NBA Live 18 demo is out tomorrow.

You can play part of "The One" - which is the in-game story mode. (Just like FIFA's "The Journey and Madden's upcoming "Longshot.")

You can also play a game between the Cavs and Warriors.

If you preorder the game before its 9/15 release date, it will be $39.99. After release it goes up to $59.99.

Sucks how the enforcement team doesn't look into the context of why you called him that in the first place. There should be an investigation into all reports, and not just go off of "who said what last". I got reported by a tryhard and his bitch after a poor showing in an Escalation match. Just report and block, don't ever respond.

Wait, what? I can't find anything online which corroborates this accounting of how it works. Gold gives you a digital copy of the game, meaning you no longer need the disc!?

Any way to check stock through brickseek if this is the case!?

I know I'm in the overwhelming minority here, but even though I know 2K is a better overall product, I enjoyed the last Live more than 2K. I couldn't even get into 2K for a while last year because of server issues which is unacceptable. I'm excited for it to be back.

You won't find anything if you search using the DPCI for the Gold version, as it has been merged into the DPCI for the standard version. Verify that your local stores have the standard version using BS, then go and see if they actually have any copies that are the Gold version.

BTW, I thought this little whoopsie was fixed. Is that not the case?

I bought Live 16 (w/ Russell Westbrook on the cover) at launch. I liked it a lot - the online ProAm was fun too. Definitely going to play the demo of 18 tomorrow.

2K's been bad this whole generation so far. They've ruined the great career modes from last gen with their story nonsense that takes away player choice and storytelling.

It turns out that when you redeem the code for the gold edition, it includes the entire game digitally, making the disc useless. This has happened on multiple Ubisoft games now and even though you would think they would fix it they never have.
