Do you not realize that due process is something that pertains to the government and the legal system? None of these people have been jailed without a trial. Due process still exists.

Also, if you think that any of these guys might still be innocent even after having dozens of women come forward with stories of sexual assault, then you might just be an idiot garbage person. Harvey Weinstein alone has had over 50 women come forward with stories of his abuse. I don't need a trial by jury to tell me he's a guilty POS.

Generally it was a movement by the left to try to snare some right wing people and take them down. It has mostly backfired though.

And they are being tried in the court of public opinion, not an actual court.

This. Conviction without trial is one thing. Good judgment in who ought to be in positions of power can be far different.

Happened to grab the New Kid on the Block achievo for Minecraft: Story More so that counts for N. Funny thing is I already beat that episode but I had played a non-patched version at the time so when I patched it and played onto the next episodes I never got credit. Glad I did now and ho boy it helps me.out in this challenge too. Alright, time for sleeps. Supposed to be seriously cold tomorrow so more video games in a warm house please.

You mean the alt-right YouTuber you linked? Just because he calls himself "new right" doesn't change the fact most of his videos align with alt-right ideologies. The name calling is uncalled for but I shouldn't expect any less.
 
Anyone know if RE7 got its X update? I got in on that gold edition glitch at Best Buy. But I have it on PS4 as well so haven’t opened it yet because I’m wondering if I will find time to play through what I already played again.

Then again the newly found graphics whore in me wants to play it X enhanced. :)
 
Played two matches of PUBG and those controls are going to take a bit to get used to, especially since they don't let you look at them before jumping into a game.

This was my biggest disappointment. More annoying than the visuals/framerate issues to me is that there's no place to learn or practice the controls. You're just thrown into the wild and forced to learn during live games. I've only played 5 games, but I still feel like I don't understand how to control a lot, especially the parachute.

It's easy to wonder that, but consider that a sexual assault victim is essentially an eye witness. If there was an eye witness to a murder, would the accusal be greeted with the same sort of skepticism that you often see when someone is accused of sexual assault? Now, a witness doesn't negate the need for a trial, but I doubt that anyone would keep their job if someone said they saw them murder someone. Particularly when there are several alleged victims coming forward.

Worked fine for me. Went to Bing and did my normal searches. The 30pt quizzes are about NHL and Jennifer Hudson while the daily offers are 10pts for Taylor Swift's 28th birthday and computer education.

Same and I couldn’t find a damn gun! Also don’t quite understand the whole gameplay area thing works. Died in my first match because at one point I didn’t make it to the zone (Still ended up #23 even though I hadn’t shot a single player. Lol.)

That said it seems like it could be fun with such a huge map.

PUBG is definitely going to take some getting used to when trying to loot someone else's inventory and going through your own. Other then that I don't really have any complaints playing on Xbox One X.

I'm on a similar setup - xbox x and Samsung MU7000 [also have an OG Xbox connected]. I can't see the difference between the Netflix app on X vs. Netflix app on Samsung TV vs. Netflix app on OG xbox, but I believe that's because I'm not using 4k Netflix. So the TV essentially recieves a 1080p signal from each app/device, then the tv does the same upconversion. Same 1080p signal, same upconversion, same picture output.

Yeah, the Netflix app work differently if you don’t get 4K on it. Most definitely see a difference here between the Samsung app and the X1X.

Eye witness testimony is about the least reliable form of evidence. Movies make it seem like a big deal, but people misremember constantly. The point of having a justice system is so that people's lives aren't ruined merely by accusations. Not that anyone cares anymore. :/


Battlefront 2 update today is supposed to fix afk farming and rubberbanding (from lag, not actual rubberbands for afk farming). Also Finn & Phasma to be added.

Overwatch holiday event just dropped as well. New Evolve style asymmetrical game mode, putting 5 Mei hunters vs Winston.

You should keep the PS4 version if you ever plan on getting PSVR. The upgrade to graphics wasn't a big jump from base PS4 to pro, so I wouldn't expect a big jump on the x either.

I honestly haven't had an issue besides the opening area and that's always been janky on my PC. Played with a few rookies last night in squads and after the few matches of learning the very convoluted control scheme they all enjoyed it very much. My shot of the night.

PSN is also getting a big Zen Holiday sale and Zen Studios says that's heading to Xbox later on too. FYI & yeah hopefully MPQ follows suit.

Need a E and L achievement for D4 Challenge as believe it or not I also got a O one from Minecraft: Story Mode, which I intentionally used for the N.

Skipped battlegrounds yesterday to play the winter event in overwatch since I didn't last year. Snowball fight is fine, nothing super exciting but enjoyeable and I'll probably try to get the achievements. I did enjoy the new asymmetrical mode though, it's a quick fun way to earn arcade wins.

Will maybe try and check out a round or two of battlegrounds tonight after work but may skip it and start telltale's Batman or minecraft to get rid of some physical backlog.

Totally agree! In the past I've fallen in the Telltale trap primarily for achievements, but Tales from the Borderlands is great; I'm up to episode 4 and it's the best one I've played so far.

No idea who PJW is, but I watched the video and it makes some good points. One good thing about logic is that you can weigh the merits of an argument without letting emotions or personalities interfere. I have no doubt that both men and women have abused their positions and power in the past, and will continue to do so into the future. Beyond this issue specifically, I do think that especially in a democracy, it is incumbent upon the voter to dig deeper than accusation, slander, and media spin.

Finished the 12 Days of Christmas TA event! Great fun, and somewhat challenging toward the end. Pretty ingenious of TA as well, since only by utilizing their site's capabilities are a lot of those challenges even feasible.

^Congrats on completing the 12 day challenge, I'm working on Emergency Stop in Project Cars for the D4 part. I agree, they've been fairly easier than I thought with the tools at our disposal from their site.

Also Gems of War has a new update, looks to be a big UI overhaul as they sorta messed things up with the last update. Things look fixed, more defined and there's a bit more flash to the presentation as well. Guild Wars is still overly OP. Don't think I'll ever get that achievement.

Sadly don’t think anything would have made a damn bit of difference. Read an article in the WSJ that talked about thousands of fake comments in support of repealing net neutrality. One comment was duplicated 300,000 times.

It was fixed as is the vote tomorrow.

I can't tell if you're trolling at this point. That video is terrible and an obvious underhand attack against the left. The comments on the video are even lambasting it.
