It probably wasn't. I'd say they take on licenses (like Mummy and Thor) in order to make money to keep working on their passion series, Shantae (which is spectacular!).

Wouldn't stop me from playing it through though. I love even a decent Metroidvania!

So I must have missed that For Honor added dedicated servers? Saw a re-review of it on Eurogamer and how Ubisoft continues to stick with it. May have to give it another shot. The gameplay was pretty fun (though I probably need to relearn the controls at this point).
 
Super tempted by COD zombies chronicles and by fire watch. But I agree with a couple people that it feels like a soon to be GWG.

Maybe I should try gone home to see how I feel about walking simulators first. I don’t usually look at ratio of dollars to hours, but I also have never spent more dollars then hours in a game. Hmm
 
if i buy CoD Infinite Warfare would my copy of Modern Warfare Remastered work?

I bought the set when they came out on disc a few years back.

 
Divinity II is back on sale for $7.50. After it went BC, the few sub-$40 copies online all disappeared pretty quickly. It's $10 at Gamestop but very few stores seem to have it.

I've literally wanted to try that Zazen meditation game since it came out. Crap reviews make 30% off still not enough for me to roll the dice on it.

I have it and it is real bad. The tracking is horrible. I would only recommend it at a dollar or two at most. For game that should be relaxing the sound is awful. Also the achievements suck.

Thanks for the feedback yeah kind of what I was thinking. It can't be selling that well at least if they offered a deep discount more people might be willing to take a chance on it.

One day Contrast for XBox One will be 75% off like the 360 one is. One day. And that'll be the day I think about buying it and possibly forget and hopefully remember last minute.

 
Rumor going around...MS & Nintendo will enter a partnership to allow 1st party characters and games go cross platform and cross play. Like Banjo being in Smash and stuff. Can't imagine Mario/Zelda being in this but who knows there's always games like Hotel Mario. Be pretty interesting if this is true.

Where's the rumor coming from? Phil Spencer said months ago he'd be up for things showing up in Smash. Heck I think even before that there were talks from Phil Harrison a few years ago about Banjo-Kazooie showing up in Smash. Nothing ever came of it.

 
Few sites , twitter etc etc. Like I said it's currently a rumor that's picking up steam. Talks about FPS. Maybe things like the Smash Bros are finally happening. I'm sure if licensing of this kind is going on it's got to take alot of time

The absolute most I see happening is maybe some Rare characters showing up in Smash, likely Banjo or the Battletoads. The only thing I could see happening from Nintendo to Microsoft would be the Mario pack or something similar for Minecraft, or some kind of partnership for a re-release of Goldeneye if all sides finally can agree to terms. Cross-play on multi-plat games is one thing, but shared first-party games is totally unrealistic.

The CD-I games like Hotel Mario and the 3 Zeldas only happened because of a long series of botched deal after botched deal, and in the end Nintendo had absolutely nothing to do with their creation or release.

As far as this rumor, I can't find jack shit about it and I'm browsing a bunch of gaming sites most of the day, most days. The best I see is a few sites posting about a week ago about recent Spencer tweets.

I was a little confused at first because your first link is to a bunch of E-Guides, but I just looked at the stuff under $20 and posted the highlights, there is some discounts on some of the more expensive stuff too.

I would've gone for it if I hadn't worked a double on next to no sleep today. I tried a few matches with matchmaking and it didn't go super well. Decided to switch to free for all for some nearly guaranteed wins to get the weekly crates before the event ends.

Wow, bought KOTOR digitally I hope more OG XBox games go on sale. Looking at SSX, Conker and even Blinx down the road to add to my backlog.

I bought Firewatch since It's supposed to get a X patch this year and also because MS gave me free $5 through that Survey. Watch it go GWG before it gets the patch! I know Superhot still hasn't gotten It's X patch though.

I also finished Uncharted 4 today because I know you guys love Sony news. Only have Ratchet and Clank and God of War 3 remastered left in the backlog... and both Yakuza 0 and Kiwami lol.

What did you think of firewatch? Thinking about getting it on the switch. Kinda funny that my switch backlog is probably grown bigger than my ps4 or Xbox backlog these days lol.

So....what is State of Decay 2? A tower defense third person shooter? A survival game? A game like L4D series? I never played the first game as it wasn't 2 player coop but this sequel is 4 player coop so I'm kind of interested but I'm not sure what kind of game it is honestly.

In for Firewatch. I call BS on the CoD prices, particularly the older ones. How do they get off charging $33 for AW Digital Pro still when a game as good as BF 1 is $15 with all DLC...?
 
Picked up Celeste. Heard good things and I love me some good 2D platformer action. Not a huge sale but it’s still new so I figured it was worth it.

If it's like part 1, its survival. You have to go out get food, meds for survivors. You have to take them out with you every once in awhile to keep moral high so they're not arguing with each other back at base. If you die. you have to start a new character, go out to retrieve your previous person's backpack. There's more to do but that's the gist of it. Survive

I knew they going to add them, but missed it happening as well. Time to give it another shot. Enjoyed it but for the awful network issues.

That day already happened. I too was waiting for years for that drop and sometime last year it happened (might have been 66% off)
