Mine was stuck just showing Trove until today. Livelock and Crossout finally show complete, even though I played Livelock for over an hour a week ago and Crossout for several hours nearly that long ago. I've been checking every day to make sure they complete, because the quest tracking is garbage, I've had to contact support multiple times in the past because they didn't get tracked properly.

I watched some of the 1080p video for AC Odyssey and it wasn't very crisp IMO. At least not on the 24" monitor here at work. I was in the Playstation Vue beta and wasn't impressed with that. I will wait and see how this goes but I am not overly optimistic. I have a XBox One X and PS4 S and a 4K HDR set. I have 50/50 FiOS (no caps). I would have to setup a laptop and pair a XBox One controller to it (which requires some dongle I don't have). Or maybe a USB cable between the laptop and controller? My personal laptop is fairly old and occasionally (like once a year) overheats. Can't see me using that for this.

Even if they can get this working flawlessly at 1080p not sure I would be all that interested.

 
So my game pass app says i can dl Forza Horizon 4, but it wont let me. So tomorrow I'm assuming then?

I See Google as the most competent company out of all of them to try this, but even than I don't see them getting anything close to high bench marks. I Feel I'm signing up for the beta more just out of genuine curiosity more then anything and interested in where it goes because I think in a decade or so this may become the norm.

Not only is the double points screwed up, automatically staying at level 2 for this month is borked as well. The login counter for Moon Gate is still stuck at 4/15 days on my main account and 5/15 days on my alt account. MS even extended the date to complete Moon Gate to Nov. 5th because of how [long] it's taken some to be able to complete Wild Kingdom.

What's the point of doing all of this and there's nothing to show for it?

Tips for the 4orizon GP people.

Always do your wheel spins from the menu. That way you can hit the A button to speed things up a tiny bit.

When you earn a new spin out driving around, it's tempting to hit the X button to go right to the spins. But if you have 400 spins you're gonna wait twice as long as you could from the menu.

Starts 5 days after assassins creed comes out and ends 5 days after red dead comes out, rough. Seeing as there's no new game mode I may not be playing too much anyway unless there's a skin I'm really interested in. I have all the Halloween achievements I can get by playing with randos with no mics.

I don’t think it hurts anything. I switched regions just to download it so I’m ready to go at midnight. Otherwise I’d be having to wait until tomorrow to start playing.

Thanks jimbobvaquero for posting the information about the FH4 upgrade, I likely would have missed it otherwise. I've been complaining about this all summer and it's nice to see Microsoft give us gamepass subscribers the opportunity to upgrade at a fair price.

MS posted this early in the morning on Friday. If it is as complete as the Ultimate Edition in pre-order form, the upgrade from the Game Pass version looks to be one hell of a deal. I'm sure there might be one or two things a person might miss out doing that upgrade, but they always seem to make most of the DLC available down the road. I personally was betting that upgrade pass was going to be more expensive than it is. So I think all I really got from ordering the Ultimate is a nice steel book to keep my game in and the ability to play a little early. Then the game will stay in its SB once the game launches on Game Pass.

TLDR: Game Pass plus upgrade to Ultimate for $50 seems like the deal. Your CAG instincts were right to not order the UE.

Thanks for the tip and multiple confirmations that switching to New Zealand to download Forza Horizon 4 if you have game pass. Currently doing so, that way the 60+ GB download will be done within five and a half hours. Woot!!
 
This may be an unpopular opinion but the SP portion of CoD: Infinite Warfare is pretty good. It is a little repetitive but it feels different enough from most CoD games and that is fine by me.

In true CAG fashion I picked up IW socks edition on the cheap earlier this year and have yet to play it. But I hear the single player was good so I'm glad that you are enjoying it.

On a related note I just picked up WWII Gold Edition for 23 bucks today. Another one added to the owned but never played list.

Actually I think most people though the SP was good in IW but the MP sucked.

I didn't realize switching regions is literally two clicks on the MS Store website. I'm downloading it now too. I'll keep this region thing in mind for future reference.
 
Now for more unpopular opinion, I think The Crew (1) is a decent racing game. I picked up a used copy at GS a few days just to give it a shot. Fired it up yesterday and enjoyed what I've played so far, wanted to sit and play it for a while. Had to give it up though because I was extremely tired from lack of sleep. I may lose more sleep between it and FH4, lol. I've got racing game fever right now.

As an aside, I've noticed the single player "story" in most arcade racing games is about power, revenge, and redemption. Color me captain obvious for just now catching on to that, lol.

I thought it was pretty good too. I hadn't played a CoD sp campaign since mw2 though, so I wasn't fatigued by the yearly releases.

The only game I'll be playing that will vie for my attention during that period is the Beta for Fallout 76 which starts on the 23rd. The servers won't be up 24/7 so I won't miss too much of the event, and I'm not holding my breath that I'll get an invite to one of the smaller Beta's going on already. I actually really like the PvE events, so I'll be playing as much as possible in order to unlock as much event cosmetics as possible. I already unlocked a fraction of them during the Anniversary event, so I won't have too many to unlock. I'll probably finally hit Silver by the end of the event as well.

 
Anyone here have Google wifi/similar mesh networks?

I just installed one this weekend and I’m noticing my wireless speeds are hovering around the 200Mbps download and 180 upload, instead of the 315/300 that the Google wifi app says I’m getting.

Is there a way to fix this so my devices are getting better speeds?

LOL. Love that Party Hard special edition.

Remember hearing Foxes and Forests was good. Also want Wizard of Legend but probably should wait for a better discount.

I just installed one this weekend and I’m noticing my wireless speeds are hovering around the 200Mbps download and 180 upload, instead of the 315/300 that the Google wifi app says I’m getting.

Is there a way to fix this so my devices are getting better speeds?

I had two OnHub routers in a mesh configuration and it worked great until it didn't, and when it didn't it was so frustrating I took it out of my home network. I hope the Google WiFi works better because I greatly enjoyed the coverage.
