I hope they put it back, nearly have enough points for it.

Sucks with the Australian version it is so limited. We can get points for searches (less than America does) and get points for preordering and buying games.

We never get the deals like play select games and get points. Don't know why it is so limited, even New Zealand is getting better then us.

Nearly broke my X1X just now. Picked up a used copy of The Witcher III (vanilla) for $2.39 at Gamestop after a $10 cert. I am pretty sure it was a new copy that was just clearanced out. It has the slip cover, map, stickers, manual and compendium. It is in pristine condition. I was not aware there are two disks. One for the game and another for the soundtrack. I took the "disk" out and inserted it into the system to the sound of a groan and it slowly drawing the disk inside.  I panicked and pressed eject. It slowly groaned the disk out and to my surprise it was both of them.  It seems to be loading fine right now at least.

ha, I did the same a long time ago on ps1. I put in Lunar 2 and damn near had a heart attack when Smackdown 2: Know you Role's loading screens popped up.

 
Can't finish Deadlight. The 1st chapter was fun but man, waaay too much trial and error after. Frustrating controls just make it a drag. I can't remember the last game I got so frustrated on I literally said, "screw this, I have hundreds of others games in my backlog to play."

Figure I'll try Sam & Max: Save the World since I have a week left of game pass. I like Telltale games so hopefully its more like TWAU/TWD than Jurassic Park *fingers crossed*

Also, just got a free month of XBL Gold via completing a game pass requirement. Where do I view the monthly page to see how I meet these/what the requirement is?

Read the last several pages of the thread to catch up and the TCL P605 talk led me to read some reviews and my 4K TV timeline has just moved way, way closer than expected, which means my Xbox One X timeline has as well. :D/ Getting both for <$1,000 would be great.

I love that feeling, haha. It's liberating to be like, "Nope, this game sucks and I'm not going to make myself suffer through it when I have other shit to play." I have a particularly quick hook with GWG games and other free (or super cheap) stuff. Life's too short and the backlog's too large.

 
Thanks for all the achievement leaderboard feedback! After reading some of them, it made me question whether or not I got achievement points for bc games to show up on the leaderboard. I cannot confirm it, as I think I just assumed it worked since it was in the Xbox one ecosystem.
 
Are there any active Gems of War guild owners that need another good player? The guild I'm in now isn't very active and I really don't want to start my own.

FYI Zombi was a great game I beat on Wii U (Zombi U). I think the only things they removed were the local MP, when your friend dies they would popular your world as a dead survivor and you could loot htem. Not sure what else was removed.

 
What are the odds of SquareEnix making the FF XIII trilogy BC? Their current BC trend seems to be if there isn’t an native X1 version of a game, it’s likely to be BC (FFXIII and Tomb Raider Legend seem to be the exceptions).

My goal is to clear my shelf of anything I can’t play on the X1 and these are probably the biggest obstacle to completing that goal.

Was there a code for this? I just redeemed it via the Ubisoft Club. I kind of wish I found the code instead of spending the points lol. Also Origins is great.

 
Family Video has free 5 night game rentals today. Wife got AC Origins this morning and hasn't put it down. Looks way more fun than the previous games.
 
Zombi is a really fun game, enjoyed it a lot on wiiU, the difficulty achievements don't stack so feel free to play through on casual at first

 
I really enjoyed both ZombiU and Zombi, played through it twice, it's a different take on the genre but it was a lot of fun, definitely won't be for everyone, but free is a good price to at least give it a shot :p

 
anyone else experiencing super high ping in certain games? i'm playing Rainbow Six Siege and I can't stay in a Terro Hunt match because my shit shoots up to like 600 for some reason. I'm usually around the 35-40 range. 

 
Just finished NBA playground thanks to game pass which imo everyone should get.The game plays very similar to NBA jam and you unlock more players by opening up card packs when you reach the next level by gaining xp from winning games.Took me 6 hrs to 1000gs and does require skill and some luck to finish it.
 
Do any of you guys listen to Podcast Unlocked? They were talking about reddit rumors of some 2018 games from a guy who I guess had access to some dev database. From my understanding he just saw files in a database so they could just be dead projects or they could be real things.

New Fable from a U.K. Studio
Perfect Dark from a studio with The Coalition assisting them.
Forza Horizon 4 set in Japan
A new Mech game.

It all seems highly likely, they need games this year so I hope we get all of this plus more. Give people a reason to buy the Xbox One X that don't have it yet.

I bet most of those are 2019 games though.

But since MS refuses to make their exclusives console only, they still give Sony and PC guys waaay too much ammunition to come back and say, "why should I buy an X when I could play your exclusives on my PC?". That's a huge feather in Sony's cap to be able to say, you'll never play Spider Man or God Of War on anything other than our console.
 
Horizon 4 set in Japan has been the go to rumor for that iteration since Horizon 3 launched. I’d say that’s the safest bet of that list actually coming out in 2018.

A new Mechassult game would be awesome. I loved that back in the day. Fable and Perfect Dark have been idle for too long, so a new entry in those series would be great. I don’t even recall a whiff of a rumor of any think Perfect Dark related since Zero was a 360 launch title.

Yeah that popped up a few times on the older thread, and it's already been announced that Forza Horizon 3 developer Playground Games is working on a "Open World Action RPG" they just haven't had the Fable named officially attached to it yet.

I think they obviously don't care about keeping things off PC, since 99% are going to be running a version of Windows anyway. It is somewhat more exclusive that they aren't just available on Steam and you have to use the Windows Store so the customer is in their ecosystem.

 
Maybe we’ll get an open world RPG with Fable characters time traveling to the future to race cars and battle with mechs.
 
Ha, I got the December Quest $5 GC too? What was it?

Just looked at Jan's and I think I already completed it lol (super easy/log in with mobile xbox app/play 10 hrs multiplayer/unlock 5 achievements).

If a new Mech Assault game comes out I'll be super happy esp if they take advantage of the X to make it look and play flawlessly. I want an open-world/mission Mech game SOOO BAD!

 
Almost crapped my pants when I saw that Horizon 3 was added to the Enhanced list on My Games and Apps but it looks like it the update isn't quite here yet. Been looking forward to this update more then anything else. Now if we could just get Doom...
