Some notes
  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold.  You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
  • On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

So Keflings is a VR game, for the PC headsets Vive and Oculus. This does make more sense to me than mobile at least. Dino Frontier actually kind of gave me a Kefling vibe before. Hard to say if the gamble will pay off, they don't have that much of a reputation and VR seems to be much more of a crap-shoot when it comes to potential sales. If it is as fully featured as the previous games than it's a good start. I have to admit I respect their decision to go for the gamble to make a truly new experience, than the much safer bet of a traditional game. I'd expect it would have been a Switch or PS4 release before Xbox even if that was the case though.

They did at least say this, though my first thought would be a PS VR version. It'd be much less reworking to convert that than to make a non-VR version of the game. Specifically mentioning work on an Xbox release means the probably already have this in mind though, so it's a good sign, though makes me think the initial performance is going to be a big factor.

Store sparser is picking up various Street figher games on sale for 360. For some godforsaken reason, vanilla SF4 refuses to have a real price drop and costs more than it's updates.

Why does that Insult Simulator game jump out to me? My cheapness is interested cause its only two dollars and change & nothing else is appealing this week?

Blah @ those 360 deals. Think I'll go back to Far Cry 4 and grinding the f2p games for the Xbox reward this month

To continue getting away from the trash discussion, I've still got a decent amount of stuff I'm still hoping for with future BC.

360:

Alpha Protocol

Beautiful Katamari

Binary Domain

Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns (and FFXIII-1 I guess to round out the trilogy)

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Nier (and all of the other JRPGs just because we're so dry on them.)

Ninety-Nine Nights

Remember Me

Saints Row 2

Soul Calibur IV and V

Xbox:

Fatal Frame 1 and 2

Genma: Onimusha

Gun Valkyrie (I've wanted to play it but never actually have.)

Jet Set Radio Future

Metal Wolf Chaos (with digital purchase option)
Morrowind

Panzer Dragoon Orta

Splinter Cell Trilogy

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 (and all other SW games, at least the good ones)

I’m sure this will make some of you happy, I don’t think it’s going to go as intended though lol.

Madden.

And Splashdown:Rides Gone Wild and the old SSX games. And how cool would it be if they could bring back NBA Street Vol 2 or the old NFL Street stuff? I had so much fun with all those games. I know the NFL and NBA stuff could never happen and that's a shame. Those were such good titles.

This might be a crazy opinion but after two hours of Agents of Mayhem I think this game is just fine. I was expecting a dumpster fire and what I have is a fun little open world TPS with a little hero variety. Worth $10 easy.

Yeah, the game is decent. It has a few problems, but worth $5-10.

my BC wishlist is mainly

The Saboteur

Prince of Persia (2008)

Nier

and Fall of Cybertron

there is many games I missed last gen that I would play if they want BC but those are the ones I really want

RE: Dark Souls 3 dlc, sorry OP got deleted.

I really enjoyed both new areas. Both areas are gorgeous, contain a number of fun new spells/items (not OP, but not worthless either), and run 2-3 hours each with a guide and much more if you're doing your own exploration. Ashes of Ariandel (sp) can be accessed about 1/3 of the way into the game (Cleansing Chapel) and the Ringed City is endgame content accessed from the final area of the vanilla game. I enjoyed the new boss fights for the most part, no gimmicks like Curse-Rotted Greatwood or Yhorm, but Midir (optional) does have a ridiculous amount of HP.

It's more quality Dark Souls, so if you're enjoying vanilla go ahead and add some sprinkles.

Where'd you get it for $10? I would play it for that price easy while I pine away for Saints Row 5.

Pinball FX2 seemed to seldom go on sale the last few years so I expect the same with FX3. The $10 bundles on the FX2 went as low as 50% I if I remember correctly. The Bethesda bundle is oddly priced at $11.99 (compared to the Star Wars and Marvel Tables) so $6.59 might be the lowest it'll go but if you aren't going to play it a lot soon then you can prob wait.

Also, if you don't have it from FX2, you'll have to buy the FX3 Core Collection which isn't on sale right now but has been on sale in the past for $5. You need this to play all the additional tables like Bethesda.
Are you sure? None of the product pages indicate it is required to play other tables. Guess if I do buy the Bethesda tables and they do require it, they will have to give me a refund since it wasn't stated.

been waiting for spellspire to go on sale. also may grab Shiness. didnt grab it last time it was on sale...and I think the discount is better this time around.

All the other tables are considered add-ons to the core collection. Test it - You should be able to dl the trial for the Bethesda pack and it should inform you the core collection is needed if you try to play it.

If it's only achievements you're after, the DLC has none. I made the mistake of buying the season pass before realizing this. Can't speak to whether or not the content is worth it.
You bought the DLC without knowing if the content was worth it, and only because you thought it had achievements, which it doesn't.

I cannot grasp any bit of this. There are layers upon layers.

Damn you Pinball FX3... everytime I boot you up I'm reminded how awesome you can be.

Speaking of which, if my math is correct it's a little over $1.50 cheaper to buy the Marvel packs included in season two separately than to buy the season. I hate it when they do shit like that.

if you're a completionist, which is sounds like he is, we usually buy Gold/Complete Editions of certain games because most of the time, any future DLC will have achievements attached to them. If they don't, which rarely happens, we sometimes end up not playing the extra content, unless its really, really good. I realize this is not a good way to spend money.

I personally don't do this anymore. I just buy the base game now and wait and see if anything comes up down the line achievement-wise. A lot of games nowadays are going the "title update" route, and season passes are going out of style, aside from your usual suspects like COD and Battlefield.

This, pretty much. We've reached a point where season pass is synonymous with achievements in my mind. DS3 is the clear exception to that rule. Season pass went on sale at a steep discount, which rarely ever happens nowadays, and I sprang on it without really thinking twice. It's it really so inconceivable? If you can name me 5 season passes that have come out in the last 5 years with no achievements attached, you win. Lol

Does anyone know if the Battlefield One Premium Pass DLC has any story content added for the campaign? Or is it simply online multiplayer content?

Man, I missed the whole brouhaha earlier. Let me see if I can accurately sum it up, tho:

Dude: Mah sportz is da best, bro.
Bro: Psssh nah bro, my sportz totally > your sportz cause sporty reasons
Dude: YOU THINK UR SPORTZ > MY SPORTZ LOLOLOL Look how dumb this sportz bro is guyz
Bro: Only a fuck ing MORAN* would have an opinion different than mine dude
Dude: *wall of insults that are really about never getting the chance to start in high school football*
Bro: *deluge of insults that are really about being a miserable fuck*

THREEEAAAAAAD NUKED

Knee deep is a bizarre game
Yeah, that's an understatement, lol. I actually dug it, though. Getting the achievements at the end was a bit of an annoying grind but just playing for fun the first time or two was pretty entertaining. It was a unique take and the former drama nerd in me dug the stage setup. I actually liked it better than some more highly acclaimed indie games (Dear Esther comes to mind).
