FINALLY. I'm getting tired of seeing all of the Terraria community (mostly young'uns apparently) complain on their forum. I hope that most of the big bugs are pre-squashed, but if all I have to do is start over from scratch then I'm OK with that.

In the MS points system, you could buy 360 stuff off the web. I can't remember if they transitioned from points to real money the summer right before the XB1 or the year before, but since that time, 360 stuff needed to be purchased on the console if you wanted to use your stored credit vs. using a credit card or PayPal.

It was possible to buy 360 stuff with credit until August 2013. I think that's when MS killed the points system in favor of actual currency.

EDIT: it was actually August 2013. Makes sense because the last time I remember buying something with points was the ME3 Citadel DLC.

I think it was a little after Windows 8 came out, when they converged the whole account system into one with the app store.

 
Cashed in my Bing/Microsoft Reward Points and grabbed Shantae & dlc.

Grabbed the $5 Xbox GC and when redeemed it went into my account as a $10 Microsoft GC. Lol, ok!

I redeemed one and got the same. Have enough for 2 more "$5" codes, but the site's acting flaky.

Edit: Took a few tries since the site returned some errors, but I redeemed twice more and got $10 codes all 3 times.

Was thinking of buying The Darkness 2 at 80% off, then I saw the price and what original price was. Here in Australia the price before discount was $69.95, now $13.99. What is worse is at the Christmas Sale I could have picked up for $6.99 lol.

Recently reached 50,000 Gamerscore, could be more but I don't try to get 100% Gamerscore in every game I play, plus some games I play more than once.

Been playing Pharaonic for a while now, not many people must play it as when the achievements pop up just about all of them are rare and low percent.

It’s giving me $10 codes as well, but the emails with codes are delayed right now.
 
For those who have completed the monthly quest but did not have Gold the entire month, did you still receive your reward?

I ask because my Gold will be expiring but I won't be renewing until the end of the month to maximize the amount of Games with Gold I'll get. I can complete the quests without being Gold:

1. Earn two achievements in a Feb GwG title: I can get this from Split/Second since I dl'ed it today.

2. Play 3 different games (30 mins per): Already an hour from FM5, 30 mins prob from completing #1 above, and I can find another game to put 30 mins into.

3. Login to Xbox Live Acct on 10 different days: simple enough.

 
Almost bought shantae just now and randomly remembered I already own it on wiiu . Might still grab it though since I don't actually own a wiiu yet. Should probably pick one of those up too soon since I have games that are useless until I do. Nothing like adding to a backlog for a console I don't even own
 
Dammit. I’m like 600 points short for a $5 ($10) code. Wonder if the $3 one is messed up too.

Wish MS was like PlayStation rewards where you can pay the difference.

I don't suppose anyone has tested this issue with other rewards? Made sure to grab the Xbox one here, but I'd love to share this with a few close family members if Amazon happened to do the same for them.

 
I like how they didn't make 360's game with gold/week sale available til today. I like how they canceled my membership a day early(as soon as I logged in earlier actually lol) so I couldn't get the free game.
 
Am I dreaming thinking that the 12 month Gamepass might come back to Rewards?

Have just enough points for that if it came back, so if I buy the Xbox credit I wouldn't be able to get the Gamepass.

I tried redeeming a $10 code I bought a few months ago and it was still $10.

FYI - Keep in mind these have to be spent within 90 days of redemption so you may not want to buy too many.

Thanks for the heads up on the Microsoft Rewards $5 card. I picked up Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII for basically half off. Now watch that shit go on sale for $10 on Monday.

It's not a $5 code that is redeeming for $10, the Rewards site it sending out $10 codes when redeeming for $5. The Rewards email you get says it's a $5 code, but if you try to redeem it on the web site, it says it's a $10 code on the confirmation.

I know, but I was checking to see if the $10 code I was holding would also double. It's not the same as trying it with a $10 code bought today, but I didn't want to buy another $10 when I current still have 4 from the last sale.

 
Why have I never been given a reward if I am inside this program? More than 200 games, an average of 2.000 hours per year and more than 80.000 gamescore.

 
Man all these double points codes making me sad that I got banned from Bing rewards years ago for running 5 accounts from the same computer. Oh well. Good on everyone getting some extra space bucks.

I’m getting too frustrated with the final achievement in NFL Head Coach in my quest to retire the 360. I’m going to vent by wasting Orks in Wahammer 40K: Space Marine
 
Anybody get their rebate back from the Wolfenstein 2/Wolfenstein 2-pack offer?

I've been trying to find a way to track the rebate but all i found was the instructions on how to get it.

 
Made some decent progress on the x360 backlog in January, completing these straightforward games:

  • Monopoly
  • CSI: Deadly Intent
  • Brave: A Warrior's Tale
  • Backyard Sports Rookie Rush

Also made some good use of the $1 Gamepass completing these three:

  • The Bridge
  • Hue
  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

I started Hitman, but was stalled on the first official mission and never went back to it.  Not sure how I feel about it.  I want to like it, but so many others vying for attention. 

My co-op game lately has been The Division.  Apparently some people consider it an easy game, but I find I die on a regular basis, and I do get that feeling of accomplishment after tough boss battles, so I'm enjoying it.

Something weird is going on with the Games & Apps app, as sometimes Memberships is at the bottom of the sidebar and other times it's back in the original spot in the middle.

How do you find the $5 I can only see 1.25.

Edit-found it used my Bing points from double month last january, got two $5 codes that both ended up $10. Thanks for posting, glad I did all those searches afterall. Got a 3rd, great deal.
