Yes all points will be credited on the 15th and 30th of June. You have till the 15th to redeem Gems.

I really didn't like it. Just very mediocre and nothing special. Way too many unbelievable moments of artificial tension.

There was a moment where it looked like something bad was going to happen to a central character (this isn't specific enough to spoil it since this situation fits every single episode), but in this particular instance, I felt they were going through with it... until they didn't. Just went "Oh wait, there's this other thing that'll save us. Nevermind jk lol all good." Ruined all the stakes of the show.

Any of the hundreds of lazy, dire circumstances could be conquered with some random, shitty writing.

The wife liked it though. Guess I'm watching future seasons in the hopes of improvement.
 
I'm watching Safe on Netflix because... Michael C Hall is back!

Just went to my 360 purchased games and 75% of my digital collection is BC.

On top of that, 30% of my non-BC games have X1 versions available to buy.

Well done MS! I know my disc collection has awhile to go. Should do another head count.

Count: 63 games left digital and 73 games on disc. Digital only wise my biggest wants are Fez and Scott Pilgrim (which is delisted). A lot of my digital purchases where some cheap disc games like Tales of Vesperia (huge want). Asura's Wrath and DBZ Budokai HD collection (another big want). I feel like XBLA games MS has gotten a lot of the big ones. Now they need to work on the big disc games.

Edit: Apparently download history didn't show Outrun or Puzzle Fighter which I own. So probably 75% actually. Still 3/4 ain't bad.

I thought Geometry Wars 3 added way too much to the formula and lost the charm of the first 2, just like Pac-man Championship 2 did for me personally. Geo Wars 1,2 and Pac Man Championship and Pac Man Champ DX were pretty much Arcade leader board chasing perfection on the 360 versions and close to my favorite games of that generation.

I hear that a lot, and its true that part of the charm of the first two games was their simplicity. At the same time, GW3 is a really good game on its own, and the first two games have plenty of replayability for those who prefer them. I really like having individual levels with unique challenges and score chasing in GW3 similar to a 'world tour' mode, especially with some of the more insane high score achievements. GW3 also has classic modes which are basically GW1 built-in on the side.

I do agree that Pac-Man DX was quite perfect in its retro-modern arcade style, and didn't need any tweaking.

 
I picked up geometry wars 3 because I'm a sucker for budget priced physical titles but only played a tiny bit, this makes me want to get back to it soon

 
I will also say GW 3 is excellent on mobile. Controls are perfect and port is identical. Amazing game to have on the go.

With my 146 digital xbox 360 games, all but 38 of them are either BC or i own the new versions made for xbox one. that puts me at 75% playable on xbox one, which is pretty damn good. i've done well with not rebuying xbox one versions of games i already own on xbox 360. most of them have been from GWG.

The Android port was delisted from Google Play about a week ago. I don't know if it's still on the Apple Store or not.

You guys got me all into checking up on the old xbox 360 games spreadsheet I have.

Of the 296 digital Xbox 360 games 182 (184 come this week with Table Tennis and Midnight Club) are backward compatible. 62%.

The only ones left I'd really like to see come over are:

Wow. You’re right. It’s gone from the iOS App Store as well. Thankfully I still have it on my phone (and likely in my download list as well).

That’s really sad. It was a fantastic port.
 
I’m still waiting on Space Channel 5 Part 2 to go BC. That would be nice. Far Cry Classic and COD Classic would also be fun to see on the X1.

It's ok, we know Date Night will disappoint as usual.
 
The only thing I kind of didn't like in GW3 was the 3D fields that add another layer of "where the fuck is everything", but all the old modes being there, as well as the actual progression they added in with the adventure mode made it very worth it to me. The 3 Star on everything acheivment is hard as shit, but I never got Smile back in 2.

I played 2 a ton back in the day, and now I seem to be the number one CAG on all the Classic modes, though I only have Jess Stryker and Spybreaker listed. I was pretty suprised when 3 was announced since the original studio is long dead, though looking now Lucid Games basically rose from their ashes. I wish the game did better, I think Activision considered that Sierra revival a failure, but at least we got one more game.

you're required to make it 2 hours long? that's dumb. i'd say the less time it takes, the better your application is. your audience should appreciate that as well as your respect for their time. you should also be able to use leftover time for Q&A.

I had one of those and 3 minutes in the boss's boss launched into his new management scheme for the next 57 minutes. Problem solved.

I had Gatling Gears on my list of games to make a video for. I ran out of time. It was a rainy day yesterday. Plenty of time to play around on XBox, but I really did not have anything in mind to play.

I still plan to make videos for other twin stick shooters on my list. It was a fun diversion. I would like to thank ubiquetous for giving me the idea.

I've been waiting for ms points to go back in stock in the VIP vault for over a month? How did you redeem for points last month? Is there another site besides rewards.xbox?

$5 and $10 had been in stock at least a couple times last month that I've seen, not sure now but I know they were announcing on twitter when they had them again

Two hour presentation is over thank God. I muddled through it even though my demo was a disaster cause I couldn’t find good test data.

Anyway, I’m ready for a killer date night. I need it.
