Thanks everyone for all the input on TVs. Will probably pick a TCL up on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing what the X looks like on a 4k TV.

With all the world cup talk, does anyone know if they're going to do an app like they did 4 years ago? I didn't see anything on google, so I'm guess no?

People on the other website have already done this successfully. Some have called ahead of time to make sure the store was ok with them doing it first, before lugging their console in. If anyone is interested, it would probably be a good idea to do this sooner rather than later. I would not be surprised if corporate tells store management to not allow this anymore.

Yeah I think I’m gonna do that too and just call the store. I have no interest in trying to get lucky by tricking them.
 
with gamestop having all uses games 9.99 and under 4 for 20, I grabbed 4 random non sports xbox one titles, its crazy how many tiny games get physical realeases now, Inner world is pretty cool. Industry Giant 2 is just a 14 year old PC game released as is, ridiculous.

Do you have to include a controller when trading in to GameStop? I've never done it before

 
For those like me who waited until the last minute to redeem their Microsoft rewards, Microsoft added a few items like 3 months of live for 1000 gems.

I already did lol. The tv saves settings based on what input I choose so I have it off on 2 hdmi inputs and regular tv it's on.

Super Bomberman R (anything different than the switch version?)
Unravel 2 (any good compared to the first one?)
Jurassic World

I didn't realize the pack had so many skins and voices. Those are like $5 a pop if I'm remembering right. I feel like them giving this instead of the $30 founders pack that gives all characters could mean they're soon planning on winding down support. Hi-Rez has a history of abandoning games.

Hard to say, Realm Royale managed to break 100,000 concurrent players on Steam, but so did Radical Heights. At least their game has decent buzz overall rather than the shitshow that Cliffy B unleashed.

I see Xbox's "e" still playing smite all the time. He works for the Pokémon company now I think.
 
I remember the night the Smite "all the gods" or something or other pack was free, they never took that away from me either just like the Gems of War stuff a couple weeks ago

If it's anything like the online for Switch bomberman it will probably be dead fast.

Sold like 1 million on Switch but couldn't find more then one person even on a weekend.

To make matters worst if I recall it had two separate online modes.

AFAIK the only differences between the Switch and XBox version is 1080p and 60fps I'd imagine for both single player and multi player. Also you get a console exclusive character: Master Chief aka Bomber Chief. The single player is also only like 2.5 hours (give or take) long so extremely short, but kinda didn't run well at all on the Switch.

The game is vastly overpriced when you consider how short and underwhelming the single player was and that multiplayer will probably be dead fast.

Either way I was happy to see the XBox one port. But honestly It's clearly designed as a launch title game and was one of the few games I wanted when the switch came out considering I already beat BOTW on the WIi U.

If you have the microsoft rewards app on xbox you can get 50,000 points if you buy an xbox1x. Aren't they also on sale at the moment?
 
I have Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition on disc. I am trying to install the DLC using disc 2 (Return to Ostagar, Wardens Keep) to finish before beating the main game. All I can install is The Awakening, and no other DLCs including post game ones like Darkspawn Chronicles, Leilana's Song, etc. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Also does not show in manage game, and also is trying to get me to purchase it when on the Xbox store. I tried googling this and saw many others with the problem, but no solutions. 

Anyone else have this happen and know how to work around it??

Not really any differences, comes with all the patches worth of characters though so there is A LOT of them, the online did seem more smooth but I wasn't always finding games already, if anybody here picks it up could be fun to play some lobbies of it for sure, there's a good amount of content in it at least. I guess Master Chief bomber is a difference but not really gamechanging :p

 
the extra 100 points a day for using microsoft launcher (bing rewards) goes on until june 30th so a good opportunity to make quite a few extra points on top of all the others (samsung)

it's not so bad once you set it up and personalize it I got used to it pretty quickly after I arranged how I wanted but I'm a points whore

 
With the mixer $5 thing going on, does it have to be the exact game title. That Dying Light that was posted before, is that just for the enhanced version as that is the version he has on the stream or will the standard game get it also?

If not, anybody seen Dying Light with this?

I was fully planning on pre-ordering the Crash trilogy on my own, but I came home yesterday to a nice surprise with $41 store credit from Xbox Rewards which I totally wasn't expecting. One last hurrah, I guess? So I got my pre-order for free, basically. I'm really, really going to miss Xbox Rewards.
