I still get to wait on Ryse (probably forever) since I was dumb and let my Gold lapse in 2013 when I no longer thought I had a reason to keep it. Now I kick myself every day for letting four years of free games slip through my fingers.

I read the reviews on the page on the Xbox store this morning before I left for work. They were saying that most of the good cars were locked behind a pay wall.

And it's $5 for Gold members or at least it was at 6 am EST today. Supposed to be the price for 7 days. Maybe I was looking at the Season Pass, but I don't think I was. Anyway, sorry to alarm anyone with my question.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhyeah! I'm more excited for Sims 4 than I should be. I had it and BFII preordered and cancelled both (dodged some bullets there). I never made it all the way through my Sims 4 trial, but I will jump right back in. Looking forward to Fe as well.

Just looked at my Microsoft Rewards for the day and noticed I had about 3k more points than I did yesterday. Looked at my points breakdown and it looks like they retroactively added the level 2 Xbox Live Rewards bonus to my purchases from last month. Now underneath the shop & earn pull down it says I earn 40pts per 1$ spent. I think that bonus lasts till the end of the year.

Also Forza 6 is not on sale just the Forza 6 VIP.

I'm at 361 of 869 titles and I've found 7 titles I want to purchase so far.

Good distraction in the event tonight's Smackdown stinks. Not likely though.

There is a lot of good deals on their first party and third party exclusives. Standouts that have a chance for MS sale I noticed were Prey for $15, Outlast 2 for $9, Those darksiders remasters for $2 a piece. Fractured But Whole for under $20.

I also got like 30,000 something points from MS Rewards today, I like how unhelpful the links are to show what I'm even getting them from, but heck I'll take it. Enough for another year of Xbox Live for the Hot Deal.

Well, if you have MS Rewards I just redeemed 12 months Xbox Live for 24,000 points which is kind of useless on short notice. It is the hot deal on MS Rewards until the middle of the month though so worth a look if you have enough. Comes in 1 month, 3 month, 12 month increments per usual.

I think that’s for the Car Pass. Not sure what the user reviews were on about talking about a paywall. Unless they meant the cars they wanted were in the car packs.

Back to Horizon 4. So if what I understand is correct about Game Pass, I can play they game one release day, then after 30 days get the 20% off the deluxe edition that equals what Best Buy’s expiring GCU would get me, amd really not miss out on anything because the expansions will likely hit between 4 to 10 months later? Sounds like a win to me!

Thanks for the explanation. I get up at 5:30 am for work and do my Bing searches on my Xbox One before I do the rest of my morning routine. I think I just misinterpreted that it was a car pass rather than the game itself. Maybe Microsoft is hoping people won't read the fine print before buying?

I enjoyed the movie but its starting to feel like resident evil at this point. Oh they had more dinosaurs on a secret island and they got loose too? Oh they made the dinosaurs in eroupe and sent them to the island but they broke out of that building too. Oh wait wesker was a clone and now hes a bad guy breaking the dinosaurs out??? But how did they end up on that roof? Eh just go with it. We have another 7 movies planed.

Was not a huge fan of Jurassic world either. It was a good summer movie to get out of the 100 degree weather.

Looking forward to ant man and wasp tomorrow though.
 
Back in May of this year, it seems that Microsoft messed up Polk audio's controller adapter for headphones in an update (the headset itself is a polk melee that was originally for 360, that was made compatible with xbox after receiving the headset adapter). I'm not able to hear myself in the headset and people have said they could barely hear me. Would the official adapter fix this issue, or another brand? The console settings don't give me volume controls either. Just wondering if anyone else here has dealt with this issue since this is where I found out about the headset.

Any other cheap headsets recommendations out there that still work fine on the xbox one (and to where I can still hear myself in the headset talk?).

The last one was decent enough, some good popcorn summer fun (mostly because of Pratt, who was charismatic as hell and carried the film by himself), but I felt like that should have been the last one. It could only get even more retarded from that point. I'm afraid to spend money at the theater on this new one. I'll probably wait for Redbox or something.

 
It's dumb fun, and I liked it better than the last one which had a lot of dumb not fun. It's almost two different movies with the huge shift. 

 
I'm waiting for either 2 Jurassic 2 World to either be cheap on blu or get a free digital rental before watching it. The trailers legit did nothing for me in that they spent fucking years looking for goddamn mosquitoes in the original movie and you're telling me that they can't just reclone those dead dinosaurs in case for some God forsakened reason we need another dinosaur theme park? Get the fuck outta here!
