Not sure how, but I got the Rewards app part of the quest to work tonight. I just clicked it in the app and it took me back like it had been doing, but it gave me the check mark, so I’ll take it

You’re right. It’s really weird because it also has been available for preorder (at a discount) on PSN. I really hope they aren’t delaying the Xbox One version. Been wanting this forever.

Thanks for posting, finally worked for me too! I was able to knock out 3/4s of the moon gate, and provided it counts accurately I should be onto the next step in 2 weeks.

I think I am about 1/3 through it on PS4. Something just seems off to me. Same combat and all but just not grabbing me as much as the previous two games. So far not enough combat. Hope that improves over the last half of the game. Don't get me wrong it is fun but wish there was more combat to it. I was thinking of picking it up on XBox One (actually wanted it there but the GS I was at only had PS4 used). Might grab it on XBox like I have with the previous 2. Maybe not till it is much cheaper though.

I'm on the other side of the coin, I never really cared for the combat, so shadow of the tomb raider is so much better for me. Focus is way more on exploration and puzzles etc. Level and Challenge Tomb design is incredible, I'm loving it. The 60 fps mode on the xbox one x just makes it feel way better too.

I'm with you 100%; and while the combat never actually bothered me in the previous two games, I'm glad they toned it down a bit. The one thing Shadow has that the reboot and Rise didn't but wished had is NG+ and because of it, I do see myself playing this game at least 3 times.

Currently I'm at 68% and deliberately not advancing in the main story since it's clear I'm nearing the end. I even got out of my way to get the "Thanksgiving" achievement which is rare despite how easy it is. Actually, of the 45 achievements I've unlocked so far, only two have been rare. The aforementioned "Thanksgiving" and "Como te Llama" which is even easier than "Thanksgiving". Weird.

Nope and I want to hear something before 1 p.m. as that’s when the preorder discount on PSN ends for $11.99. Want to know if I should just save $3 and go the dark side (jk) or if we will get a similar launch discount.

Also non-Xbox related but for peeps that don’t have a 3DS, full ports of Monster Hunter Stories ($19.99), Professor Layton and the Curious Village ($9.99) and Harvest Moon: Light of Hope ($14.99) are out on iOS today. Pretty cool to see.

So while I got the rewards app piece to click last night, the “log in to Xbox Live 10 times” is still FUBAR. That counter really isn’t that accurate. It has me at 9/10, and I’m on my Xbox every single day since it’s the main entertainment box for the family. I should’ve had 10 a week ago at least.

I got an email yesterday saying my account had been accessed by someone in Malaysia. I went ahead and set up 2 step verification so hopefully that will be the end of that.

The DLC is only $5, so if you still have a 360 that you play, you could just buy the DLC for 360 and then get everything free on Xbox One.

And the base game is $15, so someone without any of it already could just buy everything for 360 for $20, and then get it again on Xbox One when it comes out, rather than just buy straight through Xbox One and pay the same price but not get the 360 version.

 
Hollow Knight is so very tempting. I'm about 60% through on Steam. I'd rather play on Xbox, but I'd rather not start over. Hmmm.

Hmm. I might go buy the 360 DLC just to have a complete edition on both platforms.

Which is totally gratuitous because I'm never going to play it fully on both, but... it's the same price!

Brag alert. Bought FH4 Ultimate digital from Microsoft for $45 thanks to a friend at Microsoft. They've got a friends & family program where you get half off digital Microsoft games/services up to $250/yr + $5 off first purchase.
