Some notes
  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold.  You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
  • On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

That part is fixed. But most people aren't seeing the 500 point credit yet.

Sent from my SM-P580 using Tapatalk
I see it counted in my daily total, but I can't actually verify I received the Points as I can't keep track that well. I wish they had a place to see what was rewarded, when, and what for. Something else that nobody is getting is the 2x search points. It's only mentioned on the page that outlines all three punch cards, and MS Rewards support doesn't know it exists.

GameStop has the worst website known to man.

On the 2nd someone got into my account and bought a $50 gift card and I changed the pw before they even sent the code, we locked the card and asked GameStop to delete the account and they said they did(they also said the person got in through my rewards account which I haven’t been on in years)

I screenshotted the code in case I didn’t get my money back but I did so I didn’t use it but I entered it to check if they ever deactivated it and they didn’t, then today I get an email saying I successfully changed my pw and I log on the pw is still the same but the code is now redeemed lol.

So basically someone got a free $50 consequence free cause GameStop are dumbasses with terrible site security.

I know the rewards accounts get hacked constantly that’s why you see people selling the coupons all over the internet but it seems like now since they combined the accounts regular accounts are getting accessed cause of it smh.

anyone have any thoughts on jydge?
I did a video on the Switch version a while back:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiHe9IARDiY

As for some text impressions, it's similar to 10tons' other work (Crimsonland, Time Recoil, Neon Chrome, Tesla vs Lovecraft) in how it controls and feels, but the level design is similar to a Hotline Miami in that you have a building or buildings to take out bad guys in with a decent chunk of real estate outside of them to let you see where enemies are at to come up with a strategy on how to accomplish your goals. It has plenty of upgrades for your gun or yourself which you unlock from completing more goals for each level. It's a lot of fun if you're into the 10tons-style of dual-stick shooters.

Decided to work on the physical backlog and knock out minecraft story mode. Only played one episode but it's okay. I'd be really interested in seeing the sales numbers for the game or how well the show would do. The story based achievements have less than 20% of people unlocking them after episode 1, so to me that doesn't scream "people love this game enough to make a show."

Is anyone else dealing with expiring credit from Bing? If your Microsoft or Xbox cards were part of the batch that expired on 6/30, then the 90 days after they were deposited into your account is coming up in the next day or two.

I have no idea what to spend the credit on without paying full retail on games I want. Here's what I'm thinking of doing: put the expiring credit towards a preorder that doesn't release until next year, and since my credit doesn't cover the full purchase, I won't be charged until 10 days before the game releases. Until release day, I should be able to continue applying credit I earn from Microsoft Rewards. Does anyone know if I'm mistaken on any of these steps?

the reports last week were saying that only TWD and Minecraft made money for telltale:

I was just thinking about that not too long ago, no 2x points for me yet either. I'm on the Moon Gate punch and the login counter is stuck on 1 of 15 days. I completed Wild Kingdom three days ago it *looks* like I got the 500 points credited to my accounts. I can't say for sure though, this whole thing is a half-baked, ill-planned nightmare.

Somebody on the ms rewards Reddit got a reply from support saying anyone that completed it would get 2x points in October but I still haven’t even received my 500 points so let’s see if I get that either.

Wolf Among Us was the only Telltale game I actually enjoyed to be honest.
You didn't like Tales From The Borderlands, Guardians Of The Galaxy, or the first Walking Dead season? The second Batman season was really good too, only thing that dragged it down was the tptal and unbelievable role reversals of
Harley and Joker
. If I'd have rolled my eyes any harder my pupils would've dissolved.

Something else that will be interesting to see is if everyone that completed Wild Kingdom stays at level 2 for October. I was already at level 2 for this month before the Points Crusader quest started. I asked about the Moon Gate counter being stuck on the support forums and what's being done about it. The response I get is to send an email and start a ticket about not getting the 500 points for completing Wild Kingdom. :bomb: :wall:

Why did they think Batman would be a viable IP for their type of game when the Arkham games exist? How many gamers would think “I need a Batman fix... do I go with the action of Arkham or the interactive comic of TTG?” and actually pick TTG?
well you would think Batman fans would want to play both, like me

Sorry for the double post, but the daily Xbox login finally registered on the first quest, last one I needed. Can confirm the 500 points were banked, I was 50 short of the 3 month game pass sub and now I’m 450 over!

There aren't that many Batman games that people can't enjoy both. Telltale's seasons were great ways of presenting the comic style in game form while the Arkham games were great for fanservice and the combat/stealth. It doesn't have to be a binary choice.

Finally got home from the ER. Not the best news, but on bed-rest per doctors orders for at least a week till I see my cardiologist next. Looks like Hollow Knight marathon begins.

And who knows, maybe I am blessed by a certain CAG savior tonight, and get to add Forza to that list

Is anyone actually planning on getting that Fortnite XB1S coming out October 8th? My son heard about it and is of course trying to scheme on how to trade in towards it just to get the stupid skin lol.

So minimum 105GB install for Red Dead 2. I guess that's one incentive to possibly go through my backlog... Or just get a bigger hard drive!

A couple months ago I finally realized I was doing Overwatch all wrong. I would save up 1000 gold and buy the skin I wanted, how stupid of me. For 1000 gold you can buy 40 sprays or voice lines. I have purchased all voice lines now and am getting close to having all the standard sprays, now I usually get an emote and/or skin in just about every loot box. Just today I got 2 gold skins back to back.

I agree. I loved each series. Since both followed two stories and styles they didn’t feel repetitive. They complemented each other so well that I could go back and forth between the two.

On the bright side, between you and the emoji you have in your post, only the emoji is getting its brains smashed. Your Challenger will be back. Be glad you're safe after that type of accident. O:)
I'm just glad my dog was ok, as she was in the back seat at the time. Didn't see how she was affected as it happened obviously, but she ended up having a rash from sliding on the seat.

Eventually when you have all the common stuff you'll be getting repeats most of the time. I think I have everything that isn't purple or gold and I'll get something new once out of every 5 loot crates unless it's an event with new items. It is good though because then you can earn more gold and save it up to get a skin during an event that you may really want. It's hit or miss, sometimes I'll get a gold skin within a couple of crates of each other (once or twice I've gotten two in the same crate) and other times I'll go 15-20 crates before getting one.

If you have twitch prime I think they're currently doing a free gold lootcrate which has a guaranteed gold skin.

You're going to be stuck getting boxes full of duplicates back to back to back. You just lucked out getting two Legendary drops in a row. I ran out of Common and Rare cosmetics a couple months ago, besides a handful of Event specific cosmetics. Most of my boxes are all dupes now, with the occasional Epic drop of credits, instead of an actual cosmetic. Got my first Legendary today after about 30 boxes. And in case you aren't aware, credit drops are worth less than the cosmetic costs, and duplicates are worth even less, only 1/5th the amount. So I frequently get loot boxes worth only around 30 credits, because I've got three duplicate Commons worth 5 and a duplicate Rare worth 15 credits. If I'd realized this, I never would have bought any voice lines. And I'm only level 551. I understand now why high level players just leave them unopened.

Can’t you just prioritize the regulars?

Or even better, just give it to me? /s

Unless they changed it if you get a duplicate of a new event item it gives you the coins for a regular duplicate even though it costs 3x the coins to purchase it. It's pretty rough, fortunately I didn't get any duplicates during summer games to notice.

I enjoyed the season of TT Batman, but anytime a game is released in episodes it makes no sense for me to buy right away. By the time the last episode came out you could pick up the whole season for $10. Why spend three times the money when I can't even play all of it?

Edit: I can't spell

They came in handy when deciding to purchase a game but a hop over to YT usually results in a more helpful 15 min video you can scrub through rather than a 30 second clip of someone looking at a menu. ;)

At least they still have the written user reviews. Those have saved me numerous times from buying a buggy mess that can't even be finished.
Man, I don’t know what they hoped to accomplish by doing this. My favorite part about the bigger sales is going through and checking out the game clips for the games I’m interested in. No matter though, I do plan to use YouTube.

The main issue I could think of from personal experience buying a physical disc of one of their games on Xbox, would be not all the content is on the disc.
The disc only had episode 1 I believe and had to download the rest even though I had the disc in the system. I ended up selling the physical and buying the digital combo since I had to download it anyway.

The new Assassin's Creed looks good but I am like 4 AC games behind. I need to start one of them I think.
I thought about buying the Gold AC:Origins... but I still have to work through Unity and Syndicate first. I'm not even going to attempt the spin offs like Rogue, Liberation, or Chronicles.

So I figure by the time I get ready to play it, it'll be like $10. I can wait.

I always waited until the seasons were done. I blame Half-Life’s episodes for wanting to wait to have full seasons. Even before they finally admitted the third episode wasn’t coming out, I hated waiting between the first two.
