I finally saw it last night in the Xbox Store with the Forsaken part only for $39.99 every other time it was either a $59 package with both the other expansions or a $99 package with that and god knows what else. It was like that for a couple of weeks and I'd assume that a ton of the hardcore players already had everything else besides the actual Forsaken DLC. The fact it took them so long to release that at a stand alone price, and not in some superfluous bundle once again killed my hype for Destiny 2 and anything Bungie/Activision is involved with.

Do you own the previous dlc? I believe you need to own both expansions to purchase it.

 
Yeah I am having a really hard time spending more money on D2. I have the first two expansions. Barely played them. Kind of regret buying them. Have to see if my friends bought it and if they are playing. Even so not sure I will shell out more.

Just to make sure I wasn't seeing things I looked again. I went to the Store on the Dashboard, scrolled down and saw the $99.99 version in the 1st slot under Xbox One X enhanced games, clicked on that. Once in there went down and it has the "In this bundle" tab with about 8 items, on my system the top row, all the way to the right was Forsaken by itself for $39.99. It lets me click on that and buy it.

It does sound from other posters you could buy it in game at this price which is at least reasonable, but I don't have Destiny 2 installed currently so seeing the $59 and $99 was a turn off. That said staring down 100 plus gigs for Red Dead Redemption 2, it's probably not getting reinstalled either.

The best thing for playing warframe is to play with some vets. Run a few missions with them and they can really break down gameplay mechanics, how warframes and mods work, what to spend platinum on (hint: weapon/warframe slots), etc. It's also great to have teamwork when playing, but not required as randoms can get thru most stuff with little to no communication (not raids, lol). Finding a a good clan may be helpful. Vets can dole out wisdom and maybe do some carrying for certain things while lower level players can join up and play thru the earlier stuff together.

I don't get much time to play WF nowadays and to be honest I did kinda burn myself out on it and haven't played much in the last few months so I'm a little behind on some of the latest additions, but I'd be willing to walk you thru some of the beginning stuff if you want.

I appreciate the advice. I'd take you up on the offer, but my plate is going to be full for the next few months. Overwatch's Halloween Event, Fallout 76 BETA, and then it's full release in November will leave me a hermit for the foreseeable future. :oldman: :razz: If the offer is still available at a later date, I'll look you up.

So an ad showed up on my dash for a mission/reward for halo mcc. It said play MCC for 120 minutes, earn 5 achievements, and earn 50 points in achievements to get a free $5 gift card. Now that I've gone and played for 2 hours that ad is now gone from my dash replaced by one for Anthem. Any idea how the redemption works? Is it automatic or what? Not gotten any emails or messages about this, so kinda lost.

It's the Game Pass quest for September. Should be automatic. To be safe, should get the 50 GS in MCC even though it doesn't explicitly say so.

Thanks! How you find these pages...I searched and found nothing lol. I should be good, played over two hours, got 11 achievements, and earned over 70 gamerscore.

Any info on getting the other one, points crusader to work? The stuff on that one is still not working at all for me.

I use google to check. It seems the url changes throughout the month
 
So Xbox support had me remove and then re-add my live account to my Xbox and all of a sudden the messages and promos I hadn’t been getting showed up. Kind of weird that was the solution.
 
Congrats to the winners. I was hoping to upgrade my std version to ultimate if I won. But thats ok I still will have my standard version. I hope I can pick up some of the DLC later when it goes on sale

 
I know FH4 is going to be amazing and I'm excited too, but...

I had the exact same experience. I also am NOT a fan of the enemy design, at least at the start of it. Fell off pretty quick.
