So I was doing my daily searches on bing and noticed that my goal was missing, it was set to the $100 Xbox gift card. So I looked on the redeem page to set it again and the Xbox and Windows gift cards are missing currently. True for anyone else?

Probably just a glitch or they ran out or something that they'll fix next week but wanted to mention it just in case.

 
I don't know why, but all denominations of Microsoft AND Xbox Gift Cards have been pulled from the redemption options of MS Rewards. I had one set as my goal, but noticed today I no longer had one set. Went to check, and couldn't find either version. They better come back again, that's where the bulk of my points go.

Yeah, I was all set to go to bed last night, and then I saw they were posted. Out of fear they got pulled, I did most of them (all but the online ones plus put a couple cars in the auction house).

And then I went back to FH4 and popped a few more achievements. Those live Forzathons are fun.

It was mentioned earlier in the Bing thread that the Xbox / MS credit disappeared earlier in the week and reappeared.

Spent a huge amount of time with FH4 already and it's absolutely awesome. Taking a break but will play again later.

Any chance those Forza streams start offering rewards for FH4. I likely won't touch 7 again.
 
I'm excited to finally be playing a game at launch so I can game with CAGs instead of racing your drivatars that are 200-250+ levels higher than me (*cough Armstrong *cough*). I haven't bought a non-Halo game at launch in a long time. I think Army of Two: Devil's Cartel in 2012-13 was the last.

Xbox Game Pass is the shizz.

The consensus on a Mixer stream I was watching was to skip FH3 at this point. They said the only thing I'll miss with going from FH2 to FH4 is Forzathons, but I'm not a huge Forza guy so I'm fine missing those. I'm usually that way too with playing games in order, but since it's just racing it isn't too big a deal to me personally.

Dude. I had to watch Clemson. And thank goodness they still came back after losing their quarterback. I just hope he is healthy for the next game with Kelly Bryant gone.

Not hating on the people who play the game, just simply stating the sales are way too often. Although, I come from a farming family and they had a huge laugh about it. They put it to me this way... "When you get home from work trimming/cutting trees all day, do you really want to come home, sit down, and relax to a nice game of Tree Climber Simulator 2018? That game isn't really for the actual farmers as much as it is for kids or adults who WISH they could be a farmer. I bet you at least half say "f*** this!" when they actually give it the ol' college try"

At that point, I chuckled and said "Kids these days and their vigeo games, aye?"

Does promotional credit expire early or at UTC or something? I have $5 from the Mixer promo a while back that was supposed to expire tomorrow, but it's no longer available.

Yeah, I thought it was a bit odd when the older guys starting coming in looking for it. I'm talking like 60+ year olds that didn't sound like they had really played many games at all. Maybe they were retired or something, it does seem like it'd be odd to actually do the same activity in game that you do all day. You'd see similar old non-gamers looking for driving games or flight simulators occasionally, but that makes more sense to me. I wonder if those types of people would have more fun if they gave the non-realistic stuff a shot, stuff like Stardew Valley, Slime Rancher, or even Animal Crossing.

But yeah, the young ones were sometimes kids in farming families, but usually just excited by the idea of farming equipment or whatever. At least they were getting something they were excited for. I remember a couple times where kids came in for games but the dad with them would ONLY let them pick from sports games, presumably to push them toward sports IRL, and you could tell the kids weren't thrilled.

Yes, it expires the day before the expiration date. Customer service will be able to reinstate it and the new credit will expire in a year, but I dunno if you'd want to go through the trouble for $5.
 
I've been through tons of trouble with their chat support tonight. Don't even want to relieve it. That's good to know for next time though.

The Mixer 4orizon influence farming was worth it. After the tutorial, I went from level 20 straight up to 140. That netted me 129 wheel spins. Definitely worth it to sit in one of those streams if you can and passively earn those points.

How much did you influence did you farm? I'm getting some, but I'm not going all out like some people and leaving my devices on.

I had a bit north of 2 million, might've made it to 2.1 by the time the game loaded it. I jumped from 20 to around level 156.

Pretty constant farming for the 2 weeks before release. 6k influence per hour for watching x 168 hours per week = 1,008,000 influence per week. Missed some time when the stream I was watching would go offline.

 
I had over 1.6 million influence. I left my computer on a couple of different streams set-up for farming. I would only check it before work and after work to make sure it was still going. My internet has not data cap and I live alone, so there was nobody to disturb by doing this.

Missing 1 road in Forza Horizon 4. Going absolutely cross eyed trying to find it.

Edit 15 mins later - Found it! One of those stupid dotted line country driveways.

My wife has graciously allowed me to play the entire weekend uninterrupted. I'm going take advantage while I can.

So how long before the Mixer influence loads into the game? I went through the tutorial, already in winter and still the influence does nmot reflect there, am I doing something wrong or just have to wait?

 
I am so jealous of all you FH4 Ultimate players. Can’t wait. Trying to remember, are GP games playable the night before? Like tomorrow night?

Qualify for the Horizon roster. I've seen people refer to the tutorial as going through

You have to get through all 4 seasons and get a wrist band. That will put you at level 20 and then you unlock everything there is to do in the game.

MS posted this early in the morning on Friday. If it is as complete as the Ultimate Edition in pre-order form, the upgrade from the Game Pass version looks to be one hell of a deal. I'm sure there might be one or two things a person might miss out doing that upgrade, but they always seem to make most of the DLC available down the road. I personally was betting that upgrade pass was going to be more expensive than it is. So I think all I really got from ordering the Ultimate is a nice steel book to keep my game in and the ability to play a little early. Then the game will stay in its SB once the game launches on Game Pass.

TLDR: Game Pass plus upgrade to Ultimate for $50 seems like the deal. Your CAG instincts were right to not order the UE.

Ok, thanks for the replies both of you, I thought the tutorial was just that first part before you got your house and the first showcase, on FH3 I considered that the tutorial but I guess you need to test the 4 seasons first, will keep playing today and hopefully will get there soon enough, this game is awesome!

Talking about the game pass version and the ultimate upgrade pack, I got the Digital Ultimate edition and dont regret it one bit, game pass is a great service but I dont like feeling rushed to play a game that might leave the roster in the next month or two and most of the heavy hitters releasing in Game pass I already own or played. Great deal for the people replaying some older games or new people that just got into xbox but I rather play something from the huge backlog than add more to it knowing it will probably be gone by the time I can get to it.

 
Completed the 6k kill challenge in Gears 4.  Was almost all in ranked matches, got maybe 100 kills in Co-op helping some friends get the weapon mastery achievements.

Now to try for the headshot challenge.  Hoping they count in co-op vs. bots.  They apparent'y work in social.
