Aaargh. It looks like no Hyperlight Drifter. I was really hoping this one would be on sale this time. Ah, well, I guess I can keep waiting for a sale on a game I probably won't get to for months anyway.

Ooh that Star Wars is an instant grab for me. Almost bought it at Walmart last month for $10 but at register they said $16 so I split. Don’t like physical anyway. Woo.

My guess is December because of this....Star Wars Battlefront released November 17, 2015 added to EA Access on December 13, 2016. Battlefront 2 was released November 17th 2017 so 13 months later would be mid December again.

Also, while on the topic of EA Access....Burnout Paradise Remastered will be added in October or November....

FIFA 18 and The Sims 4 have been in the vault for a couple of months. Dante’s Inferno and Fe are relatively new to it. I missed that news release. I’m surprised a bit that Burnout Paradise Remastered will hit the vault so soon but in some ways I’m not. EA’s timetable for the Vault can be unpredictable. The Sims 4 hitting it was a total surprise. For all the crap we give EA, EA Access is a great deal.
 
So ... add Dead Cells, Owlboy and Hollow Knight to the backlog?

I was able to complete the 6k kills in Gears 4, and even pulled off the OSOK challenge.  Definitely not great with the sniper, take too long to line up my shots, and still don't get how people can pull off hipfire headshots with the thing, but I managed a few kills a game and stuck it through until I completed it.  Even got a few Super ribbons, so that part of the Longshot mastery achievement is done.  Got some Hat Tricks as well, can finish off the rest against bots.

Yeah that page appears to have been written late July since it references the Madden trial starting 8/2. Based on that the "3 months" referenced is August September October so Burnout in October confirmed!

IRandom non-sale thought: I hope Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is the last game in the franchise for a long time. It's not bad, per se....just feels like the formula has run its course. 

Doing my Deadly Obsession run on NG+, this is a lot of fun. Frustrating at times, when you die because the stupid game doesn't register a ledge grab or a grapple axe toss, and you end up having to re-do an hour of progress. But it's still a good time. Makes for a good challenge. 

Don't pay anywhere near full price for it like I did if you're planning on getting it. I'm sure it'll be 50% off for Black Friday. Possibly more than that.

They went with the "if it's not broken" kind of like how the Batman Arkham games did. It's good for about 3 games and that's it.
 
So, I just finished Hollow Knight and wanted to say that it is an absolute steal at $12. I wasn't expecting it to have as much content as it has. I think the sale ends in a few hours so you should do the devs and yourselves a favor and definitely pick this game up if you haven't already. Literally everything about the game is incredible.

 
The Forza Hub rewards are insane. I received 950k from playing previous games I'm assuming. I'm loving Horizon 4 so far.

*Edit* I guess it's reward credits for those past games. Oh well. Hopefully some decent rewards come for this game.

Totally forgot about the 76 beta.

I'm hoping there's some cool skins to pull me away from new games. I'd like brigitte and moira skins, would be surprised but a new mercy skin would be the best.

Hit silver in ranked? I should do my placement matches, it's usually all I do for ranked unless I'm close to the next tier. I think I did 2 placement matches and then got distracted by the backlog.
 
It would be nice if I could skip the first few hours of Forza Horizon 4 and get to the part of the game where the things I do matter as far as earning XP goes. It feels kind of mindless so far and I ran out of stuff to do when I got an install screen despite the game being 82% downloaded.

They should really have let you get up to that level 20 threshold in the demo, and have that progress carry over.

 
Has there been any rumors about what the FH4 expansions could be? I would love if they even just added London. Doubt it, but it would be sweet.
 
any fellow forza fans have that $100 steering wheel kit? Please feel free to talk me into or out of buying it, this fence is not a comfortable seat.

Bought it for 5 and have not played it yet, but it was VERY high on my want list. I am 99% sure it released at 20 bucks only a few months back, so not sure where the 9.99 and 50% discount amount comes from, but I believe this is actually 75% off the launch price. Im stoked to play it!
