My xbox 360 seems to be possessed. Whenever I go to turn the light on that sits on the shelf next to it the 360 registers that disc tray open button has been pressed. The light is like 6 inches away from the 360 so it's not like I put my hand right next to it. Sometimes it will activate after I've already walked away from the light. It also only happens when I turn the light on, it's never happened when I've turned the light off.

I haven't gone back to AC odyssey since release day, not because I don't want to but because I was in the middle of minecraft story mode when it came out. It's fine but I have to say it's probably one of my least favorite telltale games. There's only been one moment I've enjoyed in the story. I just have the second expansion to finish and then there's one less game in the small physical backlog.
 
Final(?) Telltale update.

Apparently over the last week they've been trying to get a different studio to hire the Walking Dead team to finish the game. Very smart, expecting all the people they just fucked over without severance or health care a couple weeks ago to come back for contract work that would probably be 2 months long.

That's exactly the same path I took. Irishman is working fine for me the last evening or so.

Yeah I’m going to but my wife switched out my wireless mouse from one at her job the other day and I forgot the usb part controls my wireless keyboard too and now she can’t find the other one at her job so I need a new keyboard so I can’t type it in lol.

On PC, if you click on the ribbon, it will pop up a dialog. You'll need to have crossed a 5 minute threshold for it to show you how much you've earned. If it doesn't show anything, check back later. If the stream ends and you're at 4 minutes, I think you'll see an update at the 1 minute mark of your next watch. That dialog will update when your influence does. If you don't have the dialog up, a quick pop up will flash near the ribbon when you've earned some. I think that's how it works when watching on mobile or XB1. Your influence total on Mixer resets when the game loads it.

The little blue ribbon on the bottom left of the video (above his name) on PC? When I click it it just says "Launch the game to accept your rewards." No tally of any kind and I've been on his page >1 hour. Is that the right place to look and I should just wait? Mixer Lvl and Sparks are going up and I connected to my XBL GT awhile back for one of the E3 mixpots, so I should be good, right?

Edit: Do I need to Follow him?

That's the ribbon and the pop up. Should show "you earned X influence" after a bit. Maybe try reloading the page? Will reset the 5 minute timer.

Following isn't necessary.

I remember a few crashes, but I've beaten the game multiple times across multiple difficulties. I think it had more stability issues at launch, but I played through it over the summer on the 2nd highest difficulty.

EW had time limited resources to dissuade the half-move-overwatch-crawl that plagued EU, while X2 has single timed objectives that you do have to push to reach them. I found EW much faster paced and often couldn't reach both resources without restarting. That said, I think that's a good risk/reward set up and only collecting 1/2 the resources would still leave you with enough to upgrade a few of your core squad. Even save scamming to collect every meld canister won't let you go ham on the upgrades, but I think that keeps the decisions meaningful.

Xcom2 is great. The DLC raises the difficulty, but also adds a lot of powerups for the player. WotC rebalances the classes for the better, as the base game had a number of trash choices, in addition to a bunch of other changes for the better. I think if you liked EU, EW and WotC would be solid choices. They go on sale often, so I expect they would drop during the holiday sales.

I was sad to see the free Tactical DLC is only for PC. As others said, the base x2 wasn't planned to come to consoles so maybe we can get it after a delay. Fingers crossed!

I pre-ordered the Gold Edition and got the code a little after 1 AM EST. I usually have gotten them around that time so hopefully yours shows up at that time as well

Just noticed they raised the wheelspin cost to 40 Forzathon points instead of the 10 it initially was. That stinks

I noticed that too. Kinda sucks but not unexpected to balance their economy.

But that FE edition Renault car is a hoot to drive. It will be completing some races for me in the future.

 
Yeah, not surprised at all at the rebalancing in the Forzathon shop. Once you get the double bonus from that house, they begin to rack up.

I wonder when they'll hit Mixer influence.

I haven't looked into too hard, but mine seems stuck about midway through level 20. But I know it keeps doing something with my mixer influence, because that resets every time I fire up the game. Maybe it's just super slow going now, like after you "Prestige" at level 200, you sure don't gain levels nearly as fast anymore.

The Mixer level appears to cap at 20. You can earn wheelspins and credits for "leveling" it again, but it just stays at 20. Check how much you need to level up, earn some more and restart the game to see if it's moved.

Leveling does seem slower since the prestige.

 
Fired up FH4 again and saw some of my fellow CAG Club members out there getting it done. I'm glad to be able to be a part of such a cool and generous community is this thread. Also, for all you that I've crashed into while going to events and racing, I'm sorry about that, lol. My GT is SkyTrance75083 btw, working on changing it to my CAG name though.

Edit: GamerSavage was already taken as a GT. So I changed it to my original CAG name, lildirtygamer.

The Mixer level appears to cap at 20. You can earn wheelspins and credits for "leveling" it again, but it just stays at 20. Check how much you need to level up, earn some more and restart the game to see if it's moved.

Leveling does seem slower since the prestige.

That makes sense. Nice to know I'm still getting credit. I earn a number of wheelspins every time I play, but I don't keep meticulous track of what completed task is earning what specific reward. I figure I keep progressing, and that's good enough.

Wish I got these challenges. No way am I buy a FH4 car pack right now. I find MS whole rewards, points, challenges thing convoluted and confusing. I typically don't bother trying to figure it out.

Also just got back from seeing Venom. Honesty didn’t think it was nearly as bad as the reviews. And I liked Tom Hardy in the role. Fingers crossed for an uncut version when it releases on home video.

I have the same thing - no sign of the other offer anywhere. Bummer is the FH4 and Tanks punch cards require me to buy something which negates getting points for nothing

I started the FH4 punch worth 1500 points, the problem is that it requires buying the Bond Car Pack. I bought the digital UE which includes it. I don't know if buying it as a gift would count towards completing it. I've claimed the offer (checked off) and earned an achievement so that will check off soon I guess.

As a long-time Mega Man fan, I'm deciding to pass on MM11 ever since the first gameplay trailer. The slow-down "Matrix/Max Payne" feature was cliche in 2006, and it doesn't fit Mega Man. The 2.5D graphics look just like Mighty No.9. I'll buy at 90% off ($3), otherwise, fuck off Capcom. Give us games we want like Universe/Legends 3/a new MMX/etc.

 
So I’ve never played a Forza game for more than half an hour or so and I’m enjoying the hell out of FH4 so far. Glad it was on Game Pass because I wouldn’t have bothered otherwise until 3 years later when it goes GwG. I, too, apologize for smashing the heck out of everyone’s car (I know it doesn’t show on others’ games but I still feel kinda bad... most of the time).

Does the Influence you get from mixer just add to your total next time you start the game? I only watched one time but I might find a stream to leave on the iPad tonight while I’m sleeping so I can rank up a bit. Halfway through the first Autumn stuff I think.

I don't feel sorry about smashing into people's cars. It's usually the only way I can win.

The Mixer influence will be automatically added each time you start the game. In the Horizon Life, there's a Mixer part that levels up, and the influence also applies to your global level as well. You won't get the Mixer influence until you complete the prologue and join the Horizon roster, but everything you've accumulated on Mixer will be waiting and applied once you've done that.

Get the other castle first if you are an achievement hunter since there is a barn find as one of the perks, it is also 5 mil cheaper than Edinburgh

Everyone keeps saying that Dead Cells is good, but I will admit that I don't know very much about it. I will research further to see if it's my type of game although I hadn't planned to spend more this week than the $10 and change that are on my account will allow. Baja Remastered is $6 this week with Gold which is the only reason that I was considering it. And I still haven't started Hollow Knight.

To each their own, but the speed mechanic is totally optional if you don't want to use it, and the ability to use it is really limited unless/until you buy a bunch of upgrades. It's well-integrated, but also easy to ignore while giving new players some wiggle room if they want it.

I have to disagree about the graphics, though. MN9 looks like a mid-gen PS2 game, MM11 looks like a modern 2D game, and playing on a nice television, almost like a playable cartoon. There are also little touches, like the impact of charge shots, or the way buster shots illuminate the background in dark areas. If this game is anything, it's nice to look at.
