So, how good are these Castlevania games? I’ve never played a 3D Castlevania after the bad taste Castlevania 64 left in my mouth.

First one is great. Though I think it does drag after awhile, it's still a very solid game that goes deeper into story and lore then other Castlevania games, Plays pretty similar to God of War with Shadow of the Colossus style boss battles thrown in. Second one is a bit more problematic mostly because it has stealth segments that feel out of place.

I know it's late in the sale to ask, but is Friday the 13th the game any good? Looks like it could be a cool game but not sure how it is. Looks like it's pretty much the same gameplay as Dead By Daylight

 
Between Mummy Demastered finally going on sale and Mirror of Fate going BC, I'm a very happy boy this week.

Now if only that 2.5D Batman AO Blackgate game would go BC...

Got the collection too, the 2 dlc codes were unused but Mirror of Fate code was used.. oh well, it will go on sale or become GWG sometime soon and the DLC is harder to go on sale.

I was looking on the Xbox One store and came across Grip. That looks awesome! Combat racer that has great reviews on Steam. And didn’t realize it was also going to be on GamePass. Man, I am loving GP lately.
 
"Purchased" Assassin's Creed and got me looking at my "Ready to Install" list.

I wish there was an option to permanently delete items rather than just hiding them. I have over 30 beta tiles, multiple games that I did game preview trials of that still show up that I never bought and a few games (omega heroes, project spark and gigantic) that I believe are unplayable. Would be nice to clear ~50 tiles from my hidden list.
 
With AC going GwG, I now own 10 AC games and I’ve paid roughly $1 toward ghem, for Unity (code from cdkeys). Technically I bought two codes so my buddy and I could try multiplayer, but that didn’t last long because it takes forever to even open the multiplayer up and it’s kinda garbage anyway. Oh well. Maybe I’ll try to actually finish the first game this time around.

What's wrong with keeping them hidden? Can you even see this list somewhere?

I can't download Battlefield 1, it wants me to purchase it or purchase EA Access. Guess I'll be waiting over here......gameless. I was totally going to fire it up right away and play too. :whistle2:

 
Shoot I used a free 2 day gold trial and they aren’t letting me get assassins creed. No biggie as I have a 3 monther to cash before the games gone but still what the heck...

And shoot to the fact I bought Dante’s inferno for $5 last month. I gotta learn to abstain. To make up for it I guess I’ll pass on Friday the 13th.

Any word on when fortnite save the world is going to finally be free?
I keep hearing about it being free in 2018 and still nothing.

The last time I was going to purchase it was during the most recent sale, and articles claiming by the end of last season it was finally going free lol.
I wanted to play the single player again since I sold my disc.

You can hit LB RB and X I believe to have all the hidden items show up. I mostly want to remove items like games that can't be played anymore or betas, there's no point in showing them if there's no point in redownloading them.

I mostly like to use the "hide game" option for games I've got all the achievements in or likely won't play again after beating it.

Having betas in the list was fun at first when I could be like "oh yeah, I played fable legends" but now that every other major release has one it has gotten old.

Still hate it that they don't allow you to delete them like on the X360. I mean come on Microsoft, let us delete zero games on XB1. :(

I'm sure I'm going to miss a bunch of posts about this or that, but the first Lord of Shadows is an incredibly solid God of War/Dante's Inferno type game, maybe best graphics at the time but not really competing with the set pieces of God of War. It's a long one too, plus 15 hours, but I found it to be well worth it.

I'm a Suda mark, so getting the rest of it for $15 for Sine Mora Ex I'll probably nab it. On the 360 you could actually delete games that had zero gamerscore. They were removed from your gamerscore and it was as if you never played them. On the XB1 all you are doing is hiding them. They still show up and count as a zero percentage for completed games.

It's just a little annoying for me, every xbox I sign into I need to re-hide the demos I've downloaded. Plus my wife has to hide them too on my home X1 (Which is actually hers, so we can gameshare).
Desk XBOX, Wife's XBOX, Garage XBOX, Living Room XBOX, When MS eventually releases the next XBOX I'll probably have to do it all over again. But, you know, first world problems. Would be nice if it remembered it on my account.

Don't spend your 3-month card. The end of November and the end of December always have 1-month XBL (and Game Pass) offers for $1. You can save your card and just get those $1 months to tie you over into the new year.

I went into my large backlog yesterday to install Castevania Lords of Shadow and the game is brand new sealed on my Xbox 360 shelf. So I finally opened it and to my surprise the game was on two discs.

I bought the DLC for the first game when it was on sale a long time ago. So I am ready to finally play this game.

I also have a copy LoS2 new and sealed on my shelf.

I really wish I would have just bought Mirror of Fate when it was on sale in the past. Just will have to wait for another sale.

I have accepted the fact that I will never play Battlefield 1 and Red Dead Redemption 2 in my lifetime because of data caps and lack of hard drive space.

Acceptance is the first step.
 
Turned on the xbox yesterday and the dude I gameshare with bought RDR2, so thats pretty nice.

But real talk DOOM is the shitttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

if you havent played it yet, you should def gamepass that shit

You could always rent/borrow the game from a redbox/friend/gamestop install with the console offline and then just install updates, would save you a lot of bandwith and time. Thats one thing I love about xbox, the game is the same either digital or disc, unlike PS4 you have to delete and reinstall if you go from one to the other.

That's a good idea, but I'm still rocking the original Xbox One 500 gb, and I have way too many smaller games that I'm not willing to delete. I'm hoping Santa will bring me a 1 TB Xbox One S, but I've been a real bastard this year so he probably won't be paying me a visit. I'm probably only getting indie games and a lump of coal for Christmas.

According to Klobrille (a somewhat insider that seems to have knowledge of stuff occurring internally at Microsoft), a new game might be announced at X018 while Jez from Windows Central claims "older games are coming to new platforms". That has me salivating over the possibility of Alan Wake being "remastered" for XB1 specially after Remedy's vague answer regarding the game's return to "Xbox".

It'd be pretty dumb to hype up this event and not have at least one or two new games. Probably not anything huge, but I doubt we're just getting a Crackdown 3 conference at this point.

Agree. Crackdown 3 can definitely be ONE of the highlights (along with new gameplay, showing the multiplayer component and a final release date) but shouldn't be THE highlight of the event.
