I like that there's a reason to switch to a heavy jacket and it's pretty easy to setup summer and winter outfits.

I just got the achievement for bonding with my horse, which I continuously rode hard, into rocks, and off ledges.

I really like the look of those maps! Haven't really been following battlefield much this year probably will wait for it to come to ea access. Have they said anything if the Armored Train and Blimps and all that stupid stuff from 1 is going to be in this one?

I didn't get that email but occasionally I'll go to microsoft rewards on mobile and half the text will be in what I believe is Chinese.

Their plan is to have progress carry over. Their wording leaves wiggle room though. The theory I read on the 76 subreddit is they worded it the way they did because they might reset progress if a major exploit is found and exploited by lots of people. So I'm hoping no major exploits are found.

No behemoths are not returning. I could see them adding a B-52 bomber or something like that down the line. Bf 3 and 4 had the ac130 gunships.

 
So I let my $2 for 2-mo Gamepass lapse, and the 9.99 offer for 3 months triggered of course, do you guys think there will be a better offer come X018 like with Gamescom or come Black Friday? Or jump on this hoping for no regrets?

The best deals are in the trade forums. I've seen people selling 6 month codes for under $30 quite often (although maybe not in the last week or so but I haven't been paying attention).

Well there is usually always the (week long?)black friday deal for $1, and then again during Christmas(usually you can grab both). There was a $1 deal a week or so ago, but that was strictly for new users only, so I hope they don't do the same for the next deal.
 
Stupid Microsoft Rewards promotion won't accurately count the number of times I've been to Xbox Live. Now how am I supposed to get out of the cave of whatever and earn my one thousand points?

Well, the 9.99 for 3 months is probably a decent deal then. I picked up 9 months for $30 using it multiple times.
 
Black Friday ads are leaking. Scanning through the Target one, I'll prolly get Wolfenstein II & Star Wars Battlefront II for $15 each. Best Buy and Wal-Mart ads are always the best, so Wolf and Battlefront could go lower.

The 1TB PS4 Slim with Spider-Man for $199 is exactly what I've been waiting for. Since it already leaked on Wal-Mart's website, probably safe to assume it will be at most stores.

I bet Microsoft discounts hard this holiday to end the generation on a high note. I also think they will launch their next gen console before Sony to try and repeat the 360s success. New studios, gamepass, backwards compatibility....it's about to get fierce up in here.

Nah, I think Xbox will still be my primary platform, between BC and the strongly hinted-at generationless approach if it means continued support for all / most Xbox software.

Ugh, the idea of new consoles just feels wrong, I feel like this generation has only recently picked up and gotten really good. I know the OG X1 hardware hasn't aged well but I'm pretty happy with things as they are.

Waited  patiently for the 3 months of GamePass for $14.99 to clear and I finally have the 3 months for $9.99.

I never thought about doing GamePass much since the backlog is so big but I am getting worth out of it just for FH4.

I picked up 10 months for $40 using mostly Bing credit and I expect to get another 3 free months for the Bing Adventure thing so 13 months for less than the cost of one game seems reasonable. I may even try State of Decay 2 now.

If I were a smarter cheapass I would’ve waited for this, but alas, I am a sucker for special editions, and I got the red Spidey Pro when it came out. This is a heck of a deal though, especially for those like me (and probably you from your other posts) who won’t be using this system every day as we do the Xbox, and you still get a fantastic game in the box. Just finished the DLC today (which was kinda short but still very fun), and the game has been such a blast overall. There are other games on my list to try out on the PS4 - mostly single-player exclusives - but I’ll get to them eventually.
 
So I got almost all of the Single Player achievements in DOOM ( only one I still need is beat 1st level on super nightmare)

So I went onto the multiplayer and got fuckin smoked. Anyone know any tips? I think I went like 1 - 20

Always be moving? It's kind of designed to be a meat grinder at first for a noob. There is a perk system like Call of Duty, albeit much simpler, where you can start to unlock different Runes that will help.

 
If the playlist is still populated I suggest doing the beginner only or whatever it's called. It'll get you to level 10 with other new players without getting completely discouraged from playing.

Mermaids half-nakedness is appealing but you only get the less fun half, in the other hand a magical horse? come on! have you played AC:Odyssey? I am sure you can pick up hotter chicks than half-fish there, and that GIF is awesome.

 
Is there still a way to see past gamepass (and gold) quest progress?  I messaged support about my Halo and Division rewards not showing up and they asked for a screenshot showing completion, but every link I've found just shows the Fallout quest stuff.  Before it looked like every quest progression was accessible.

The wife and I are going to a brand new movie for the first time in forever in about an hour to see Bohemian Rhapsody thanks to buying some T-Mobile codes to get $4 tickets. As a huge Queen fan I can't wait even though I'm sure it's going to be "Hollywood-ed" up a bit.

I’d be willing to guess the F1 2015 countdown may be license related, either leaving game pass or a delisting. RE0 is probably leaving GP too given how RE1 just left.
