Has the Forza Motorsport 6 Expansion Bundle ever gone on sale? I'm hoping to level up and get some of the leftover achievements for that game.

Then there's the concept of red vs. blue, which also trips me up in Rocket League, tbh. In one game, you'll be blue so you're focused on helping blues and knocking out reds. Then the next game it puts you on the other color, but my slow mind is still focused on knocking out reds even though I'm now on the red team. It takes me half the race or maybe the whole race (when I see the scoreboard and realize I'm on the red team) to get it. Don't understand why all games don't just make you one color and the enemy is always another color, and just call the teams A and B instead of red and blue. Like in Call of Duty, the minimap always shows the enemy as red marks, no matter which team you're on. I prefer this method for all games.

On top of that, I also get tripped up by the color of the cars themselves. So I mentally tell myself to help blues and knock out reds. Then I see a red colored car trying to pass me and I instinctively try to knock it out of the checkpoint. But that red colored car is actually on the blue team, on my team. Lol.

I hadn’t considered that possibility, as my car of choice is a Subaru WRX STI in the proper blue paint.

Also, people are either looking to take everyone out, or just straight up can’t drive a car the way they weave back and forth.

I think it's more lack of skill than anything. In the few events that I've done I got ran off the road by my own team. I'll admit when I play with computer guys I use them to ram my way to the front but never purposefully do that if I'm online with real people. I'm not sure if car color matters as much but it would make sense for them to overwrite the color automatically
 
MS Rewards question time... I have 17K points, Live covered for the next year, Game Pass covered through March (with another 3 months expected if they ever pull their head out of their ass with the current promo). What are the odds we see a discount on Xbox gift cards soon? That would help me out with the inevitable Black Friday/Christmas/new year’s sales
 
I play Forza like the early Burnout games that wouldn't let you hit oncoming traffic. I check cars into corners to maintain my own higher speeds, attempt pit maneuvers, and drive like whiplash isn't a thing (since it isn't in games).

probably going to see some discounts on live next and giftcards after that

if the rotation stays consistent

probably see some giftcards right before christmas but that's just my opinion based on following it quite a while now

It was on sale around the last week of September, it was $35 before taxes. I picked it up then, hopefully it will go on sale again soon.

 
I was kinda hoping Forza Horizon 3 would be on sale for Black Friday, but going by Bloomy's scan, it seems ti won't be (at least not the standard edition).

And yes, I know the Forza games tend to go GwG when the licenses are about to expire (usually 4 years after release), I just don't want to wait until 2020 for FH3's turn.

FH4 is a great game, and I've only played the first one on 360, but it feels so similar to the original that I don't get as absorbed into it, I feel kinda been there, done that. I felt that same way about every Pokemon game after the original, even with years in between them.

Speaking of open worlds, Dead Rising 3 is still keeping me busy and time kinda melts away. RDR2 arrived but for the same reason, I'm afraid to start it. Plus, the gf wants to be present when I do.

I really enjoyed DR3, played the crap out of it when it came out. Good balance between difficulty and fun I thought. Although the last part is pretty damn hard.

DR4 got too easy. To the point that I never even died.

I just started Dead Rising 3 last Friday. The gameplay had never clicked with me before, but I've been trying to play games that were already installed, and once I figured out that I wasn't expected to save every bystander, it wasn't too bad. The Super whatever whatever Alpha DLC was my favorite part even though I'm not especially good at it. But mowing down zombies after a hard day is pretty relaxing. Great graphics too for a launch game.

I actually wish "The Quiet Man" was on xbox, if it was a $59.99 game that's one thing, but at $15 it's in that realm of "I need to see what insanity this is". 

 
Is there anything going on with Xbox Live?  I have 100+ friends and all but one are offline.  Usually there are ~30 in some streaming app, but it's a ghost town up in here.

 
I just watched the trailer  :shock:  I think I'd give them $15 still. I would have bet the $15 it was some crazy azz japanese company doing something like Suda 51, but nope Human Head from good old Madison, Wisconsin.

Was really hoping for No Man's Sky especially with the update...guess I'll have to hope it'll come up with the BF sales.  Pretty bad sale, but not sure what we expected heading into BF.

Aw man, I was definitely going to buy it. The genre has really dried up and this looked passable enough.

You know the copilot feature on Xbox can be used on Mixer so that you can stream the game to a friend even if they don't have the game or an Xbox? Of course it would be pretty laggy for them. Golden Axe is playable because it's a slow-paced beat-em-up, but Streets of Rage is too fast to stream. Altered Beast was only .99 a couple of weeks ago, and I forgot to buy it. It would have been great to try on Mixer.
 
So two things:

1. Anyone else getting Mixer Influence but not actually watching anything? I left for the weekend, turned off my computer and when I got back and logged into FH4 it hit me with 704,000 mixer influence. Logged in again later in the day and more influence was waiting. I have no idea how it is happening.

2. I added a 7 day gold pass to my account and I cannot find anywhere that indicates it is actually active. I do not want to keep adding codes to see if it is working. My online FH4 function is offline

Well, first off my apologies for confusing the fact that you are asking about the Expansion Bundle. I thought you were asking about the Complete Add-ons Collection which is what I bought while it was on sale.

Forgot I had preordered World of Final Fantasy Maxima while I still had GCU. One of the few I didn’t cancel. Looking forward to it tomorrow.
