I said marketplace but I meant to say local marketplace in my area.The dude said he had two from Xmas and he wanted $25 so I offered $20 and he accepted.Its good to check your local facebook marketplace to see what people sell.

With the first Destiny, when they put out the complete edition or whatever it was called that boosted your character you could start the game as a total badass at level 30 and play through everything. On this one it locks you out of everything prior to Forsaken if you use it so the boost is useless in that regard. That really sucks that they changed it.
Of course if you've already played through with one character I guess I see the appeal, but why would anyone pay for the base game and all expansions only to make pretty much all of it unplayable when using the promoted boost?

Yeah, that’s a very good point. Sorry I didn’t elaborate on that, but I guess I kinda blocked it out, because I, too, am pissed that D2 doesn’t let you go back to the old story missions. You actually can’t do that at ANY point in D2, aside from the daily mission playlist, and you can replay the Adventures on each planet, but not the actual main storyline. Like I said, Forsaken is a lot better than year 1 of D2 was, especially in that lull between when the vanilla content dried up and Warmind came out, but they left SO much behind that was actually fun and enjoyable about the first game, and there’s so much else to play these days that if you don’t want to invest like 90% of your gaming to Destiny, it almost feels like you shouldn’t even bother.
 
Kinda bummed that LIS:BTS is on Game Pass because I bought it at Thanksgiving and have yet to boot it up, but it’s awesome that GP is getting so many good/popular games. Plus I got the deluxe edition or whatever so I have the extra episode, so I got that going for me, which is nice, I suppose.

Also I’m already subbed to GP through May of 2020, but I’m really considering adding the extra 6 months of $30 that’s going on now. Really not many better deals prior to now. I’m also really hoping that the rumors of the all-digital Xbox One come to fruition because I’d love to upgrade to that one for at least one of the systems in my house - still rocking 2 VCR models, but we don’t have a 4K TV yet to worry about the upgrade anyway.

Not necessarily directed at you since you haven't booted it yet, but is the deluxe worth it for the extra ep for anyone that has played it. I finished up the first game today and really enjoyed it.

 
Before I pull the trigger, what’s the difference between the AC Odyssey Gold and Ultimate editions? Is the Ultimate worth the extra $10?

Depends what exactly you want. Getting something with 4K and HDR seems to be fairly expensive, my friend was looking for a couple weeks and hard time finding anything below $400. He was looking for a 27 inch I think.

I think you get some in game items that was included in the deluxe edition. When I got it around Black Friday, I checked the different editions and there’s so much stuff with the gold that a few items like a ship skin and maybe 3 or more like things wasn’t worth the extra $10. I think Ubisoft went too far with all the editions with Odyssey. Stick with the Gold edition.

Unfortunately I think that's what they're continuing with. They're is an ultimate edition for The Division 2 as well.

Like deszaras said, it's just some skins for the ship and a few weapons/armor so not really worth it. You got it a few days early if you preordered the ultimate versions, which added to the price difference before it came out.

Question for my guys (and gals) with the TCL 6 series.. does your Xbox one X HDMI signal ever get dropped and you have to unplug the HDMI cable from the Xbox and/or TV? Reading online says change the TCL to HDMI2.0 by default and I have done so and the issue hasn’t occurred since. Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced / fixed this issue.

Has happened to me twice while playing Rocket League if that matters.

Changed my input to HDMI 2.0 right from the beginning or else mine wouldn't allow 4K or HDR at all. Never had the signal drop though.

If you care about the relationship between Max and Chloe, then yes it's worth the extra couple of bucks. A little short, but there are some extra outfits that come with it for the base game too -- if that makes any difference to you.
 
Went through my Xbox backlog today including X1 GwG and Game Pass games. Did an honest assesment of games I am actually interested in playing and then looked up all the "How Long to Beat" estimates. The total stands at 4156 hours for main game + extras. That does not even include DLC I own or anything PS4 exclusive. That is a number shows just how stupid I am at buying games.

Yes, every time I stand and take a step, the signal drops to black and flickers for a sec before it comes back. Last night it completely lost signal and the TCL showed no signal. I unplugged the hdmi from the xbox and it was very hot, this after playing for 3 hours. I left it unplugged over night but haven't tried turning it back on yet.

No one said you have to beat them all. Life is (literally) too short. It’s about sampling the fare at a low cost and opening yourself up to a vast breadth of experiences.

I got the regular version of Odyssey cuz of how long the base game is, I doubt I’ll make it to the DLC and I’d rather play AC Origins or AC Syndicate that I own both but haven’t played instead of AC3 remastered that I’ve beat before.

As far as beating all games, I figure the ones I bought are priority, GWG I don’t feel bad if I never play.

I think it also shows how stupid you are spending time documenting games instead of playing them. I say that as a person that is equally stupid and does the exact same thing.

Where is the argument? It was a tongue in cheek comment as I said I did the exact same thing myself.

 
I have $25 that I'm trying to figure out how to spend before the Countdown Sale and weekly sale ends.

Scenario 1

Shikondo: Soul Eater - $7

The Lego Movie/The Lego Ninjago Movie bundle - $12.50

Escapists: Walking Dead - $5

Scenario 2

DeBlob - $4

DeBlob 2 - $6

Escapists: Walking Dead - $5

Shikondo: Soul Eater - $7

Save the other $3 for later

Any thoughts?  Keep in mind that I have Lego Marvel Superheroes and Lego Batman 3 already backlogged.

 
Hmm looks like we might be back to dollar to point purchases with MS rewards. I just purchased two items at 7.50 each and my shop history is showing 7 points for each purchase,

It could be a glitch. I have had that happen occasionally throughout the year. You should open a ticket with MS Rewards support to document you did not receive the expected rewards points for your purchases.

Well 20:1 is supposed to end on the 31st iirc so it may have rolled out a tad early. That said, I'm not super bent out of shape over a few hundred points just putting a possible warning out there.
