You’re probably right on Portal 2. $5 sounds more likely. I just remember I had credit to burn and I got around $11 for trading it in so it was worth converting.

I’m loving the game so far but it did feel like just wandering for a bit, but maybe 2 or so hours in (I think?) you unlock something that adds a little more depth to the story and opens things up and it seems like it’s only going to get better from here. Looking forward to continuing now... after I dig into Mario Maker 2 first, of course.

King Kong is disc only and I don't think a digital copy was ever listed on the marketplace due to it being released way before MS even offered retail games for digital download on 360 and the movie license Ubisoft acquired has long been expired.

I still amazed and disappointed that Gears of War Ultimate doesn't have a Xbox One X patch. Thought that would have been part of X's launch

 
Any other “old school” gamers have issues playing third person and to a lesser degree first person shooter for extended periods? I start to get the whole neck stiffness, preseizure feeling if I play wolfenstein, gears etc for too long. I swear it’s new and maybe tied to my new 65” 4K tv even though I’m about 8-10 feet from it.

I need some rts games or something.

I've noticed that I can't sit and zone out like I used to for long periods of time without getting stiff or achy. I always attributed it to getting older (I just turned 37 but have gamed since I was 4 or 5) but I wouldn't think it's the game style itself. Now having the bigger screens... I never thought of that. Might be worth a discussion.

Yep, until I changed settings on mine set. The tru motion, adjust fov if the game has it, make the camera less sensitive, drop gamma and brightness a tad. Now I can play how I want and I have a debilitating neck\vertigo issue

FoV is the first setting I would check, widen that sucker. The only time I get queasy is when I fall a large distance, even 3rd person I feel the acceleration somehow.

I definitely have to limit myself in 2 compared to TNO. It is very similar to the issue I had with Doom but at least in that turning off motion blur and increasing the FoV helped a ton, no such options on Wolf 2 that I have found.

That 360 side is meh. SotN is good but it's a cheaper title.
Xbone side is stronger imo, Inside is a nice pick. Never heard of Big Crown Showdown. Looks like filler like Marooners was.

Not PS4 bad. SOTN is a must for those who obviously never played. Heard good things about Inside. Robinsons isnt a wash if you've got young gamers like I do. Last one know nothing and hope its decent.
 
Inside is one of my favorites of this generation and SOTN may be my all time. Good month for those don't own them. Slightly disappointing for those that do.

Yep, already got Symphony of the Night. (On Xbox 360, and PS1, and PS3, and PSP with that Dracula X Chronicles game...) Good history lesson for anyone who might have missed it, though.

 
Good month for me. I had SOTN for PS1 but somehow never got around to playing it. Time to repent for that mistake.

INSIDE is a good pickup even though I was only lukewarm on LIMBO. And Big Crown Showdown should provide a few hours of fun with my in-laws.
 
I am curious that with Microsoft/Xbox no longer doing backwards compatible games (360 to One), what will become of GWG options in the near future? Surely they wouldn't give away 4 free Xbox One games every month? Or perhaps their future plan is already in place with the Game Pass program?

 
There is still a ton of 360 stuff that's already went BC that hasn't been GWG and it doesn't seem like licensing is a big hurdle with the amount of kid's movies stuff there's been the last year or so. 360 games most likely will end sometime between now and Scarlet release for sure, but still a couple things out there I'd love to see like Ninja Gaiden 2 or the even something like Brutal Legend now that they bought Double Fine. Don't really see any reason they couldn't do 4 xbox one games, but also with the amount of great stuff hitting GamePass the last couple months and everything they are scooping up lately from 3rd party devs to be in GamePass on launch day GwG definitely seems to be somewhat in the rear view. 

 
I started Life Is Strange for the Game Pass quest last night. Do kids really talk like that these days, or we’re the writers in full on “how do you do, fellow kids?” mode? Hearing the one character say “hella” a lot really threw me off.

Will Windows Phone game apps work on Xbox One if they have native controller support?  I found an indie game called Major Contract on itch.io that I would like to try out, but it's only available on Windows PC and Windows Phone app because the Android version was delisted from Google Play.  If you're confused, this is the store listing.

Her use of 'hella' is explained in the prequel. LiS is known for having some cringey dialogue but overall it's not nearly as bad as some make it out to be, and is easily my favorite of the TellTale style games.

I Think this will be my third time or forth time getting Symphony of the Night on XBox 360 after buying it on XBLA, getting it for free with Lords of Shadow and possibly some other time. Can't wait to get it again on the PS4 Castlevania collection and on whatever other console as well! Besides that, I only own one of those games for July and so that's a win.

 
Inside is a really good game(it got 10's)and isn't Symphony of the Night supposed to be like one of the best games ever made or something? I already own inside for PS4 but I'm looking forward to playing Symphony of the Night for the first time and since it's a 360 game, I own it now.
