EDIT: Finally got it. You have to hit that Airport ramp at just the right angle doing over 136 mph and land in a good spot in the trench to get over 550 ft. Took a lot of rewinds to maintain my speed leading up to the ramp, then even more rewinds trying to nail the best possible angle. This challenge is cruel for a one day only event.

Trash talk is part of gaming IMHO, I love it both offline and online, I have nothing wrong with that honestly. When you made your friend throw his controller after beating him on PES, that was when you actually won :D

All DLC and bonuses were in the PC version so it's likely they'll still be there for the new port. The only things missing were the two armor sets from Berserk, due to licensing.

The EXACT same thing happened with the last HW2 update. It's like they literally learned nothing from that debacle.
 
I'm just curious who is going to get screwed when the Games with Gold is announced for next month. I bought about $40 worth of games so I'd be surprised if I don't own both of whatever 360s they give out. It's fine though, the sale was good and I'm happy to get what I bought.

GwG:  Hated Watch Dogs, but enjoyed parts of the multiplayer.  Hopefully servers are still up so I can play that with friends.

Speed Runners looks like fun, reminding me a bit of N+.

AC3 -- worst AC game ever and why I gave up on the franchise.  And another example why you don't buy AC games...they become free eventually.

Surprised to see DA:O, an EA game that is also on EA Access...

Glad I didn't buy DA Origins! But I bought AC3 two months ago... well, it was just 3€ :p

Curious to try WD, but I guess I'll just never play it like most of GWG games I throw in my backlog.

Port of the PC version, which was a remaster. I think they added a bunch of stuff too.

 
Speedrunners has good reviews on PC. Multiplayer only though.

94% positive on Steam.

Edit: you can play solo against bots.

I have none of those digitally, great GWG month for me. I don't have a desire to play AC3 again though.

I grabbed 3 more 360 BC games from the sale late last night after looking at this weeks sale.

Not a bad month. Like last month, the 360 games are games I own on disc already, but not digitally (which is pretty impressive seeing as I own like 200+ BC games digitally). I technically had AC3 on my Chinese account from that glitch way back when, but it's the one foreign account I completely forgot my log in info for and I've failed at all attempts to recover the account. AC3 was the only thing I had on there, so I guess I can stop worrying about it now.

Mostly I'm happy that it's the first month since March that I don't own any of the Xbone games. Last month I already had Temple of Osiris and in April, I had both Ryse and Walking Dead S2 from cheap holiday game bundles.

I knew waiting on Watch_Dogs would eventually pay off. Of course the Season Pass probably won't go on sale separately ever again, but them's the breaks.

I didn't buy it because it's was $5+ and not 75% off, but if anyone bought DA: Origins, I would bitch to support IMMEDIATELY about a refund. At least we all have the Awakening expansion from when it was free the other day.

On the bright side, they're running out of AC games to give away for free.
All that's left on the 360 side is AC1 (they probably won't bother at this point), AC: Brotherhood (possible) and AC: Rogue (incredibly likely). The Xbone side only has the other 2 Chronicles games (possible) and Syndicate (not happening anytime soon).

There's been plenty of 360 GWG that's also a part of EA Access. Heavy Weapon was GWG in March and I'm 90% sure it's included. Dead Space, PvZ, Mirror's Edge 1, etc. The Xbone EA Access games however, have not shown up as far as I can tell, not even Titanfall or PvZ.

The 360 sale prices on the Microsoft Publisher sale are atrocious. The only things that I'll be "buying" are the free DLCs for Crackdown and Fable Anniversary.
 
Awesome GWG. Aside from Speedrunners, I have everything, but I don't care cuz I just like when they choose good games! Three triple-A titles is awesome.

I have a big smile on my face because Assassin's Creed 3 is finally going BC - most likely starting today. We will find out in 20 min. I loved AC3. Some awesome DLC for that game, too.

(Holding out to see if Bully hits 3.74 again sometime.) But even as surprisingly fun as it is, I'm not sure I can bring myself to go back to Alice now... I spent all day Thursday playing it thinking my cat was on the mend, only for him to cross over just before 1 PM the next day. So now I'm filled with regret for a number of reasons. All the money spent just to keep him around for 2 more weeks was worth it to me, though.

But yeah... good show, MS. Do it again sometime.

Sorry for the loss of your cat. My girlfriend and I are big into cat rescue, have saved many over the years, and have quite a few now. I know how hard it is to lose one, just remember that you gave yours a good life, many cats never even get that chance.

GwG is a mixed bag for me.  I"ve never heard of Speedrunners but I"ll give it a try.  I'm slogging my way through Watchdogs... my OCD won't let me play 2 until I finish the first.  I want to love it because I generally love open world games but it is very... ugh.  I didn't mind AC3... I thought it had good and bad moments, but it was fine overall.  DA:O... I have no interest in.  At all.

On the subject of trashtalking... it's fine in a game as long as it's reasonable.  I appreciate someone being creative and clever in their insulting me oh so much more than just straight vulgarity.  However, unless a person is being a asshole for the sake of being a troll, the trash talk should pretty much end with the game and they follow you after the game, reporting is fine.  If you're getting to the point of rage, then maybe you should stop and take a breather or try a different game or hobby all together.

I've not once ever hit the point of rage where I honestly thought about smashing controllers or headsets.  That's plain and udder stupidity and people should be ashamed.  My parents would have kicked my ass for acting like a spoiled bitch growing up (plus they would NEVER replace the controller and I'd be SOL).  Plus the fact that a good first-party controller usually costs $60-$150 (I try to get mine around holidays when they're $25-$40) and it's my hard earned money going into it... there's no way someone else is going to make me ruin my stuff just because they're antagonizing me in a game.

I only played the demo but it is nowhere near Eat Lead. It is a 2d side scroller and not very good from what I remember. I wanted to like it because I had just played through Eat Lead at the time but couldn't.
