Was wondering when ilomilo was finally going to make its way to BC. The DLC is still way overpriced, but the base game is easily worth the $5 it costs even when it's not on sale.

Tenchu's never been on sale, so not surprised I don't own it. Shinobi's been on sale at least twice but the last time was like 6 years ago, I'm surprised I didn't grab it then. I hope SEGA keeps up the BC and eventually does a super sale.

So I see the Matt Hazard sequel and I'm admittedly hype because I just bought the original game (for the first time, never even owned it on disc). Then I go to the store to see how much it costs and I'm greeted with the "Already Purchased". :rofl:

Apparently it was on sale once 4 years ago. Yet I somehow missed buying Shinobi twice. So strange.

Good BC day, almost makes up for no non-Steinsgate announcements last week.

Well since the BC sale seems to be still up for another hour, can someone tell me if Blops 2 Season Pass is worth it? Game is obviously super active because of back compat but wondering if the DLC maps are dead? This is one of the few COD games I never owned DLC for despite it being one of my favorite CODs. (Ya know cause getting that dash cam version of Ghosts for $23 just happened to have the season pass lol.)

My fist experience with the main game since buying a bunch of trilogy's at GS to flip, was ran into a ton of hackers and cheaters, instant no scope deaths through walls by dudes spinning circles, and a lot of angry nerds not playing but using COD as like a Second Life server using hacks to get outside map, but not cheating to win just standing around talking.

Yet the more I played and leveled up, it went from happening one out of two times to more like one out of twelve times I end up on a bad server.
If the DLC was active and didn't increase the crap hax 1337 servers chance too much, I'd buy it.

Looks like some of those E3 announcements coming weeks before as usual. Hopefully It's $30 or less like the steam version. Maybe get lucky and It's $20.

GWG weak month outside of the Phantom Dust and Watch Dogs one for me. Though Speed runner has some insanely positive steam reviews so maybe that will be the gem of the month. I played the trial of Watch Dogs 2 and it seemed good, I heard WD2 was a AC2 leap in terms of game improvements so WD1 isn't that great. I already got Dragon Age through EA access, but it is nice to own the game forever thanks to GWG. Hopefully they put the expansion up for free again like they did for those that missed it.

I came *this* close to buying Dragon Age during the BC sale, but went with Oblivion instead since Bethesda games have never been GWG (to my knowledge). I've always wanted to try Watch Dogs but never wanted to pay anything for it, so this works out well.

Hmmm, maybe having to rely on cash last night not GS trade credit reigned me in a bit. Picked up essential stuff I wanted like Skate 3, Ikaruga, Shadow Complex.

Was about to buy more, but realized it's a lot of games that despite being back compat are probably dead on multiplayer, and whose main selling point was Xbox Live features. Like Samurai Shodown 2, it's on Wii VC, and probably some PS2 Neo Geo collection disc, but this version got good reviews for having competent XBL online.

Other games I was considering like R Type, Lode Runner, Wolfenstein and Doom all probably have better rereleases on other collections or remakes or on PC than these random 2005-08 Xbox Arcade versions. Same if that Hyper Fighting game was BC and on sale, if you really wanted to play some SF2 now there other better ways to get it than a ten year old solo game put on XBLA with little fanfare or polish.
 
So excited ACIII has gone BC. AC is probably my favorite game series at this point and this gives me all of the mainline games and the Chronicles titles on my Xbox One. I only need Liberation HD to go BC now (Hey, I can dream)

So...what the fuck does powered by the Cloud mean? Meaning that slogan they kept saying to help see the One at E3 when it was first announced. I Though it meant every game had dedicated servers so...really? Does it mean just as much as a cloud meaning full of vapor and nothing?

That tweet was probably a mistake or a hack, but that notwithstanding, using the cloud doesn't mean a game's "servers" will remain online indefinitely. It's still just a group of servers residing somewhere, even if the locations and processing loads are all dispersed. If it's cost prohibitive for the publisher/developer to maintain this service, they can still "shut down the servers," so to speak.

Really good series. Glad syfy is trying to become a sci-fi channel again. They where so good back in the Farscape,sg1,bsg and outer limits days. They started downhill when they went to soaps, wwe, and shit tons of reality. Tough competition on other channels now. The 90's and early 2000 was a great time to be a sci-fi tv fan as it really peaked then.

Did they recover from that BS season 2 finale? That made me almost stop caring about the show.

Where the two main characters get pregnant in the alternate timeline and that baby comes over to the new timeline, and they explain it by saying "love" carries over between timelines. That's not love, that's a fetus. </barf>

I agree they didn't explain it well. I think it's going pretty well though and being that they where able to plan for this season knowing the next one is the last i think it's going to help plot wise.

Picked up Doom for $13 from gamefly. I've heard good things and that's a pretty good price for me.

GwG next month isn't too bad. I already own DA:O and watchdogs and beat AC3, but would consider a replay.

Glad to see ilomilo on BC today, never finished it and keep thinking about starting it up on my 360.
 
Is the Overwatch Game of the Year Edition getting a physical release?  Seems like its available digitally for Xbox Live and PSN for a discount, but I have not read anything yet about a physical release getting the same price.  Anyone know?

I wouldn't mind getting the rest of them free. At this point I have (I believe) all the rest of the digitally at a total cost of like $10. The only one I ever played through was the first; I'm thinking of running through the rest of them along with the Resident Evils later this year.

Yeah, I had Hearts but I pretty much did the same as you, why not at those prices and I come from a card playing family. It was sad when I was in college and the playing cards would come up in conversation but it just boiled down to people playing Poker. Um, Bridge, Spades, fuckin' Cribbage anyone? I had a ton of shit in my queue and someone mentioned HW2 has a big update so I got that into the queue too and kept the Xbox One on overnight. Almost everything else but HW2's update were downloaded and yup it's doing the 28.22 GB file today. Are you f'n kidding me!? smh

It's getting so bad now, I was thinking of just uninstalling the game and then when I want to play install it and go through updates, it's that cumbersome right now.

GWG talk: Excited to own those digitally although I've got everything but Speed Runners already. Say what you will but I enjoyed Watch Dogs a lot. Glad the SP for that was on sale a few months ago.

When a hobo defecates in an abandoned uranium facility, two twin turds are given life and they must use any and all power tools at their disposal (yes even nibblers!), to protect themselves and the townspeople from the evil conglomerate that wants to build a water park on top of their shitty home!
