This is how bad Xbox Live sales have been.

I found a pack of $30 Xbox store credit that I got last month when Kroger has the coupon for it unopened. I thought I had already used it as I still have over $40 on my account when I expected to use all of that up on their Countdown "deals".

I guess I'll buy Stardew Valley and the Power Rangers game.

They added a ton of stuff. In addition to the new character and level, they've unlocked all 25 original characters, updated the UI, added an Incursion tutorial and a training area, draft mode, daily quests, and higher level caps.

Has anyone been able to do this on a *NON* xbox one S?

It runs uncapped. It seems to be all over the place at times, but is consistently 60fps when not much around you. Also has screen tearing.

Groo Battleborn has a large enough small community (lol) that you can get into matches pretty quickly. For $10 you can't go wrong. Well it could go free to play eventually anyways lol

Hmm...that update almost makes it tempting to actually buy. Ten bucks at Amazon minus a $5 Prime credit that I have. Know it lost the battle badly to Overwatch but worth picking up for $5?
 
Anyone having trouble downloading Tropico 4 from last week's sale? I keep getting an error that says "Cannot download Tropico 4" and then when I go to look on my storage device there's a Corrupted Game File or whatever. Downloaded Tropico 3 and the Modern Times no problem.

Anyone have experience with this with Tropico or any other game? I've tried 3 times now and keep getting the same error/corrupted file.

So reading the new NPD numbers that FFXV was #10 in the US for sales for the *YEAR* and also it did really well on the XBox One. In fact, it was #3 seller for the month on the X1 (not counting digital sales). Also, while sales were down 40k (compare to the 360 sales) the % share rose to 28% for X1 buyers. That's actually good news for JRPGS lovers because it means the base is there. At least for well known names. We will probably see more future FF games on the X1/X2 whatever it may be called.

@awp I think Battleborn is worth the $5. Though there is a DLC mode you will miss out on. Like I said before, worst case scenario is Gearbox swallows their pride and it goes free to play. Which would probably happen in the holidays if it does.

wow, that is spinning the numbers. if i looked at that chart, i would be thinking the base has shrunk for JRPGs on the xb1.

Half a million is bad for a port of FFXV? Ok. It outsold The Last Guardian in the US.

I seriously doubt a port cost them that much money. The PS4 was the lead platform and the game was being developed already.

I'm still bummed we won't get Kinect Pulse.....It was promoted as a mix of Dance Central, and I'm Alive. The twist was the ability to play as a standard club hopper, or a hardened ISIS convert. Sadly the developers pulled the plug due to Kinects poor adoption rate. It all comes down to numbers I suppose......

There was a glitch that made Risk Urban Assault free, but they revoked it. It's got elements from newer Risk spinoffs, like building strongholds and having hero units. I was pretty bad at it and wasn't particularly upset when it got revoked. Mosty I wasn't a fan of the aesthetic choices, like the digital war room layout or the way menus and messages slide around the screen.

If you're interested in the board game, I highly recommend Risk Legacy. You get to permanently change the game board, cards, and factions for future playthroughs, such as using nuclear weapons and leaving areas irradiated. It plays a good deal faster than the standard 8 hrs for classic Risk as well. It does carryover the massive dependence on luck for dice rolling and card matching, which turns a lot of people off it as a strategy game. If, however, you already like classic Risk, I think it's a great improvement and worth looking into.

I always hate when you're traveling as you go down to the continental breakfast at a hotel and there's a waffle iron and batter and some people freak out like it's the greatest thing ever. No, it's not. I'l eat cold cereal, fruit, or a bagel (and I don't like bagels). Never has the waffle been even considered an option for me.

Is it a coincidence that IHOP is known for pancakes, french toast, and crepes... and Waffle House is known for bad food and nothing good ever happening there? No, no it's not... that's what you get for naming a chain after waffles.

This is your opinion and is a horrible one! Although there is a special lump of fat in my heart for IHOP's Stuffed French Toast, and their Banana's Foster Brioche French Toast is a delicacy.

Today's "lunch" consisted of 3 bowls of Honey & Oats Special K which was washed down with two Banana taffies, followed by a handful of miniature York peppermint patties.

wasnt aware it was just a port, i knew development had been going on a while, but i assumed once it hit this gen it was being developed concurrently

 
So if you guys could have a collection of retro games released for 360/X1 from ANY console/system in the past.... what would you like it to be?  Ignore the practicality/licensing of it for the moment.  For argument's sake, let's consider a "collection" to be 10 or more games.

If you could play retro games on your Xbox, legally.... what system would you want to play?
