Tempted to pick up a used copy just in case.  I rushed through it a bit on PS3.  Wouldn't mind adding it to the pile of shame.

$1 cheaper ($18.98) on Amazon Prime for new.  Guess I will hold off.

 
So off topic but the PSPro now has a boost mode for the system.

Apparently rainbow Six Siege hits 120fps, Bloodborne FPS is stablized, Just Cause is actually playable...

Any other option and my sub just goes into sleep mode because it hasn't been given anything to do.

My issue wasn't with the subwoofer. I got a 5.1 wireless sounds setup for Christmas and noticed that setting it on 5.1 uncompressed on the x1 kills the center speaker on the bar. I just happened to be starting Quantum Break and noticed there was no dialogue which the game uses the center speaker for. The only way to get proper dialogue was to use stereo or bitstream or something like that. It makes the actual surround sound effect less effective, but what am I going to do?

A quick Google search shows it's not just me. I have the soundbar system attached to my TV with optical and the TV to the x1 by HDMI. I think the prevailing theory is that the x1 won't push 5.1 properly to the soundbar through the TV even as a passthrough. The X1 would need to be hooked directly to the soundbar, but that's a no-go because my TV is wall mounted with all of the cords hidden in the wall as well as the fact that all of my media doesn't come through the X1 (it's a 4K TV so TV and movies look much better through the TV's apps, especially Netflix 4K).

But I don't know, I'm no expert at this.

Anyone here good at looking at system setups and capable of giving suggestions?

Sounds like Battle Ages. Really addictive for the first few hours, then it takes forever for things to happen.......unless you pay for it.

I haven't bought a single lunch box, I have however earned a ton of them doing the daily objectives/ 7th daily login bonus, finding them in the wasteland doing adventures. I think I have like 5 or 6 Mr. Handys now lol and a bunch of pets too. That and a vault of 200 dwellers, mostly all equipped with some sort of Power Armor. A ton of weapons that are the best in the game, plasma, nuke and missile weapons. Shit I'm maxed on resources and money, like I guess I'm ready to start all over again. >_<

Well shit, if I knew this version and all the goodies was coming I would have waited on the game. Hmm.

Although it's nice to have it as a digital game and switch from it to another one on my hdd. That's where I think will be the strength of Fallout Shelter. You'll play some and then switch to a game, play a few rounds, do a few quests, finish a couple of races, and then check on your vault with the dwellers done with their tasks. The mobile market, you can't really do that, you just had to play it and if you want to wait either stare at the screen, do something while the phone is on or log off and come back later.

Anyone else with the latest system update have this problem?

I turn on my console and hit left to sign in, choose my GT, and it acts like it's going to bring up the keyboard but then it just goes back to the list of GT's. A hard reset fixes this.

If you're in preview and haven't gotten the latest update, you may need to go into the insider app and change your enrollment from preview to alpha. Took me a few days to figure that out and a couple more to get the update.

Just tried, had a preview beta option where you get things faster, but msg came up saying if I leave preview have to do factory reset. I just backed out lol

 
This latest build is the best one yet. The dash is the fastest it's ever been. It even loads games faster (at least RE4 from my experience).

No more stupid long updates in which I see no difference and even if I do it's never worth the other updates you have to download at least once a week.

We read bad news about everything here. Even the good stuff gets an endless stream of complaints. I've never really had any problems with the previews.

At first it was just to get BC games early, but there's been a number of new features I was pretty stoked to get early. I was excited about Cortana even tho I ended up turning it off, I use game dvr a lot so anytime they update that I'm eager to get into it, and I'm really psyched to get rid of snap and see the faster UI in action.

I'm also willing to spend a few minutes writing out feedback, and there's some pride in helping to identify and recreate bugs in a constructive environment.

As for the negativity in here, in general people are far more likely to share a complaint than a compliment. Either in the hopes of finding a fix or just to vent, bad news will always spread faster than good news.

It is a bit surprising if they are going to do an actual marketing push for Rouge again, even if it's a small push I think that's a first. Makes me think that Assassin's Creed Egypt won't actually hit this year, though it could also mean they'll tie Rouge marketing into the budget for Egypt.

There could (should?) be a new Assassin's Creed this year, and having a physical release of a 360 game isn't too expensive, especially now. Recently, I've seen new copies of Red Dead Redemption marked with the Xbox 360/Xbox One label.

So Rogue could be released as a physical disc again to great hype for the new Assassin's Creed.

P.S. Rouge means red. The game is Assassin's Creed ROGUE :D

 
Many 360 BC games have been re-printed with the "Plays on Xbox One" label. While I'm sure it wasn'the first overall, Doom 3 BFG was definitely one of the first ones.

When I bought the Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition in October of last year, it also came with the label.

How I regret not buying AC Rogue digitally last time. Now every time it goes on "sale", it will always be $14,99

Just finished the RE7 campaign on normal. Beginning was awesome, ending was extra corny though. Capcom needs to make a valentine commercial touting the game as a love story between Ethan and Mia. See how many unsuspecting soccer moms pick it up lol

Muscle car, handbrake, and rain is a bonus. Throttle that gas and brake too. Get that rear end around and countersteer that baby around the corner.

I just started AC: China, getting a Shadow Complex vibe so far. Also I decided to hook up my Xbox to a WiFi hotspot from my Google Pixel and that, Trials Fusion, Gems of War, Pinball FX 2 and Forza 6 are letting me enjoy leaderboards/Uplay rewards/achievements popping again. Got a few rare achievements for Pinball FX 2 & FM6 tonight. Don't know how long this will last, I also was able to grab the update for Stardew Valley. I still have big retail games in my queue. I'm content atm.

Really hope that Rogue is coming to BC, I picked it up at the last sale. Though because I'm selfish I hope it doesn't come to GwG too soon because I haven't played it yet.

I've been playing Rainbow 6 Siege free trial with my friends. I thought it was just okay, but they all loved it and picked it up digitally. I just can't see myself picking it up for $25. Maybe for $10 but honestly I'd rather be playing overwatch with them like normal.

Did you get the ending where you saved MIa? There's also a second ending. And yeah, I don't know that the plot of any RE game has made complete sense, but parts of this one - unless I missed some key info - didn't either (Ethan isn't somewhat suspicious of a 'baby-sitting' job that involves his wife on a cruise? He has no idea she's a covert agent? He gets a video from her telling him to not look for her then three years later just gets an email that says 'come get me' and an address? Not to mention the inconsistencies with giving Mia the cure and still having her infected) If Ethan is just some regular dude, hey, after three years, I'm moving on. And even if I hadn't, that initial scene where you drive up to this house and see a cow's carcass pecked at by birds then the makeshift saw blades you have to duck under, I'd been like, uh, yeah, there are other women and she did tell me not to look for her...

 
AC: China definitely plays like Mark of the Ninja (which is a masterpiece btw). I just have a couple more levels to shadow: gold to complete AC: China. I kind of wish I had grabbed the others when they were on sale. Then again, they're AC games, they'll be on sale again.
 
Anyone play much of the wildlands beta yet? Here's my basic impressions after a couple hours, spoilered because it's a bit longer.

I haven't really played much ghost recon, just some mp of the last one on the 360. I'm assuming they're mostly stealth based which I'm not a huge fan of but still had some fun with the beta. Played a few missions with ai teammates and only was able to finish one without alerting any enemies. Seems like it'd be a lot better in coop since the ai didn't do much while playing stealth. It looks good too, I like the setting (very similar to just cause). I read people complaining about the driving but I didn't think it was too bad for a non driving game. The couple of jeeps/trucks I drove weren't too bad controlling, the dirt bike was a bit trickier though. The ai said they'd meet up with me when I took a single person vehicle and it looked like that meant "we'll magically reappear when you stop." The shooting wasn't amazing but not too bad and the cover/stealth was decent. I had a couple graphical glitches with the sky/environment but nothing game breaking. I need to play some more but I'm more interested than I was originally. I don't know if I'd want to put off the backlog and buy it day one though.
 
I still can't get the ubisoft site to work to get a beta invite for ghost recon. Real bummer because I was really looking forward to it.
