Just one comes with season pass and game and the other is just, well, the season pass. All the extras and such will be the same regardless.

I forgot about Brotherhood! Both games have that mechanic, but Black Flag and then (ugh) Unity had the mobile apps for your phone where you could check in and send them out during the day. Heard the mobile app for MEA will have that feature and launch next week.
 
Alright since Trench lost the $5 give away with SFIV and a few other games going BC I am going to give a $10 Xbox Live credit to a random person who posted in this thread if Mass Effect holds a 88 or better Metacritic March 24th at 12pm eastern. Did anyone one get the "You have X hours left in the trial" splash message when opening Mass Effect? This usually pops for me in other EA Access trials but hasn't here.
 
Skate dethroned the Tony Hawk series in my opinion. It's comparing apples to oranges, but the THPS series was on life support by the time Skate came out. It breathed a huge amount of air into the skateboarding genre.
I played Project 8 and Proving Grounds, but definitely not strong points.


In Borderlands, I seem to remember using the same weapons for many levels, because they're always OP. It takes a long time to find something I deem worthy enough to swap out something else for. Pretty sure I finished up the Pre-Sequel but not 2. Many hours spent between the 360 and Xbone.

I believe the thing is there's no issue if you digitally pre-ordered. I grabbed the game from Amazon - used a bunch of GCs after Christmas - a while ago, at the time I didn't have reliable internet where I could download a whole retail game when I wanted to, and I get that notice. I haven't played any today, might do a few hours of multi tonight but I'm trying to spread it out. Still, I think it's a BS move, I mean I did preorder, just not digitally.

Similar boat - ordered from Amazon on the Deluxe price gravy 59.99 for deluxe, less 20%).

As far as EA and MS know I don't have a copy ordered. I hope that means it will just let me play until Tuesday but the pessimist in me knows I will get booted just before a successful extraction.
 
^ It just happened to Ryu (talked about it over on the Xbox ME:A thread), he said he was on wave 6. Yeah fuck me I guess it doesn't matter physical or digital then.

I was also having issues with this, and it worked like a charm. Also, not all the individual DLC items have the "GET" button underneath them. Curious.

 
Picking up Rayman Legends and Trials Fusion this week.

If my 360 backlog was under control, I would know whether or not I should grab the season passes for Far Cry 4, Watch Dogs, and the Ass Creed games.

Can't tell exactly but it looks to be three different skills so I'd guess biotic attacks -lift, biotic charge - and it looks to be a melee move at the end. Lol yeah space Dragon Ball Z level there. Ccccccccombo breaker!


Decided to grab the SP for Watch Dogs because I really liked the game, T-Bone mini-campaign has achievements and I used a $5 Bing credit towards it so it turned out to be $3 and change. Not bad.
 
Anyone else here a fan of the 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate) genre, or specifically a fan of the old Microprose game Master of Magic?  Apparently, it has a spiritual successor in the game Planar Conquest:  Worlds of Magic and apparently it's been out for a while on both :pc: and :ps4:.  Yet another Kickstarter for one of my favorite games that flew under my radar. :)

No Xbox page yet, but it should release this Friday!

 
I gotta give the mass effect series a try seeing alot of the praise it gets,but i did buy OlliOlli 2 and that games alot of fun. Pretty difficult to master but addictive and a steal at that price.
 
as a single player only gamer I should get dead rising 4 with dlc and gears of war 4 without it correct?

I like complete versions but if it's all multiplayer stuff in dlc I can deal with a vanilla version

The season pass for Gears 4 is all online stuff. Maps, skins, etc.

 
I know Homefront has been pretty poorly received/reviewed.  Is it worth $7.99?  BB has it on sale and the one near my job has a couple copies left.

Playing the Andromeda demo and so far the gameplay seems pretty fun, the inventory system seems a little overwhelming at first, also can't figure out how to equip gun mods. The trial definitely has me excited for when it hits the Vault though.

On the loadout screen, hit X to choose mods, then choose which mod slot (i.e., the left or right circle) and hit A.

The brutal west coast winter is still dragging on so depending on the weather maybe I'll start this week. (I own them on the ps3)

It's a lot of content afaik so I dunno if I'll have time to really do any damage on the trilogy but I can try

also never seemed overly interesting to me so I'll have to also psych myself up for it

No content has been released for the Dead Rising 4 season pass besides a Christmas themed set of items if that's of any concern for you. So far they've announced a story DLC, which brings back the timer and a golf type mode, but their release date is still TBA.

As for Gears 4 DLC. it's all multiplayer, but even than unless you're hosting private games with friends or want to level up quicker there's no point in getting it since the maps switch out every month.

I think I'll get the ultimate for dr4 just in case but by time it hits a trigger price it'll probably be more clear if the single player content will be worth it

 
Anyone else having trouble with Mass Effect multiplayer? I haven't even been able to finish a single game because I keep getting booted to the dashboard in the middle or it just straight up freezes. Not to mention constantly losing connection to the host.

 
​Haven't seen it posted and I know there are a few Gears players in here, but the long wait for some new enemy skins is over as "Emergence Day" has arrived.  This weekend there is a 2000 credit pack in which two locust (standard and grenadier) skins are possible to win. Also, Tai Kaliso has a "slight chance" to be won as an early release as well.

and I think it's important to keep in mind that I didn't talk negatively about those games or those that enjoy them I simply said I wasn't very interested from what I know about them (I also don't have the sit down time required for that adventure) and I just said a different game in a different post looked fun so this all seems pretty silly to me
