Yes, Stacking is great! It's a wonderful game from Double Fine.

Yes, you should give PQ a chance, esp at that price! It's their 10th anniversary as why the sale. People also got a few goodies in PQ:MtG, if you are into Magic the Gathering and Puzzle Quest, this is a no brainer (on Android).

I think I remember some discussion a while back about 360 games purchased through Destination Arcade not showing up in your purchase history. Does anyone recall if there was a work-around for that problem? I can't remember many details of the whole issue.

 
Tower Bloxx Deluxe is not showing up in my ready to install list even though I own it on 360. I checked on the marketplace and it shows as already purchased for my account.  Not that I plan to play that game anytime soon.

I'm pretty sure I bought dead rising case zero in the sales and specials app and it wasn't showing up in my ready to install list. It showed up eventually, but it was hours to a day after case west, that I got with gwg, showed up.


Bummed I decided to wait on resident evil when I saw it on sale last night, oh well. I own two of them on the 360 already. At least I got stacking on BC now.

Yeah, I was thinking of the Sales and Specials app. I could swear I purchased Stacking, but I can't find it in my purchases list. I may just be a dumb-ass or thinking of picking it up on PS3.

Not this past week. Bloomy was causing mayhem at an airport which caused him to miss the deals reveal time. He didn't give too many details. Something about Taco Bell and diarrhea. We picked up the slack in his absence.

I checked StoreParser this morning and saw the deals. Gotta learn to live without Bloomy. I believe he's mortal as well and will one day not be here for us.

Does anybody know if the achievements for Three Fourths Home are back up and running again? Believe they weren't popping before

Agreed, the original PQ had such a simple, addicting formula that I imagine its aged very well. I was totally hooked on it on the DS when it came out and may get it while its on sale since its BC.

 
Not in the preview program and just bought the RE Super bundle for $20.80 on the PC. Is it really suppose to be $51.99?

This game seemed permanently glitched for me. I only got like 125G and nothing else popped. I last tried in November I believe, but just moved on. I'll never complete it. Beat that game 5 times and at this point, it's too boring to do any more, even for the easy cheevos. Proceed with caution. The story isn't bad though. Pretty interesting the first time through

Thank you for the heads up. I didn't want the bundle, but I let my dad know about the sale too late once the price was corrected. Just told him it's back down and he bought it.
 
Maybe it's an apology for how badly XBL shit the bed.

Seriously, I'm not okay with service outages preventing people from being able to launch/use/play content they own and have paid for, which was happening to a lot of people according to reddit. The X1 seems to ping the server every time to verify you own it, at least Steam gives you a ~2 week offline grace period (last I heard, anyway, correct me if I'm wrong or if it changed). Once a game is paid for and downloaded, problems on the server side should never, ever impact your ability to use it unless it has online features.

this is why I intend to make this my last generation of collecting

we are simply going too online and as a single player gamer that pretty much has never online multiplayer'd (and don't always have good net since I live in remote locations) it's no longer something I feel comfortable sinking money into

I'm fine with the world getting so online but I really wish they left offline/single players like myself something to continue on with

it's not like I have a lack of content though I have enough games for 800 lifetimes

Possibly still live? PQ that is, since RE bundle went back down. Possibly had people complaining they couldn't get the set priced bundle when their services went down perhaps so they readjusted it? Either that or Capcom is going nuts on their 20th anv. lol

Also, damn looks like I'm gonna be buying Totinos now.

It's the reason why I can't drop $60 on digital games. A crazy deal like the RE bundle? Sure, whatever. Below $20 for a game I really want and will get my enjoyment out of? Also probably fine even if I lose access to it, I've misplaced plenty of physical games in my life. But for the cost of a new game, digital services just don't do it for me.

Maybe ME:A is very good, I haven't tried it. But we live in a world where Shadow of Mordor and Dragon Age Inquisition were competing for GoTY just three years ago. The critics may very well be overreacting to Mass Effect's issues, but this would definitely be the exception, not the rule.

We are probably headed into a no physical world and even if it stays around seem to be headed toward having physical might not even guarantee access to gameplay so what are your plans as of right now? see where it goes?

 
Bad news: XBox Live issues prevented me from playing BL2 online tonight with CAG friends.

Good news: I logged in here in frustration to see if others were having issues and found out the RE super bundle is glitched again and got the insane discount.

There is always a silver lining. 

Still bummed I could not play BL2 online. I rarely play online and when I want to play there are issues like this.

I'm torn between wanting to have things that I love (games, records, etc) which may be hard to find or out of print down the road and not wanting to own a lot of stuff. I love digital games for the right price, all the last-gen fire sales got me buying a lot of digital games and made me warm to it. BC just adds to that. I also generally trust that a monolith corporation like MS will make that content available for a long time. Nintendo's digital distribution? I'd love to be wrong.

Looking at last gen, only a handful of games are hard to come by or are actually rare. Discs are cheap to manufacture and a lot of games that are out of print can be had for $20 or much less. So I figure if I get the burning desire to play an old game, I can if I really want to. If digital means fewer copies in the wild (so far this gen, I'm not sure this is the case) then I may change my tune. Meanwhile, a lot of digital titles are getting physical releases if they prove popular (Shovel Knight, Axiom Verge, a lot of Limited Run titles). So far the potential is there but retail is too much of a thing for the industry still. Ask me again when we get the PS5 and the Xbox Two, since Steam has normalized all of this on the PC end, but the console industry is still very much a physical presence in general.

Emulation and VC-type services make up the rest. I'm sitting on a lot of NES and SNES games because of their value but get tired looking at shelves and shelves of games, even if my inner child is rejoicing. Having stuff means being responsible for it, and I have too many immaterial responsibilities already.

The critics can eat my ass with whatever condiments they'd prefer.  I'm about 8 hours into ME: A and enjoying it all.

Must be nice to paid for your opinions and cause strife and discord since you didn't like something.
