Yeah, already started it lol. I'm not too disappointed because I had a lot of fun completing the game. Definitely would have been nice to get the other dlc for less than a dollar more though.

 
So I just took a road trip down to NC last week. Stopped in TN to have some Brisket, and also ate BBQ several times in NC. Both were incredible, but I think I like the vinegar base of the NC BBQ sauce more. We really have no good BBQ up in MA, it's all about the seafood here.

I'm now in the process of building my own smoker out of a 55 gallon drum so I can make my own authentic BBQ. My brother already completed his own, so I have someone to help me at least
 
Yeah, I should clarify that South Carolina is known for mustard based BBQ and, honestly, I hate it.

But there is still good tomato/vinegar based BBQ to be found.
 
Actually, if anyone is in the mood for BBQ that doesn't require sauce, AND you find yourself in the DFW area, seek out Hutchins BBQ.  Their chopped brisket sandwich (moist) is seriously the best thing I've ever eaten in a BBQ joint.  Plus, the fact that they have free and bottomless ice cream/peach cobbler/banana pudding doesn't hurt either.

 
Someone posted a week or so ago about when you start Blizzard Mountain, don't pick a certain car. Anyone remember what that was about? I'll be starting it tonight or tomorrow.

I grabbed all the challenges today in about 30 mins, the airborne pass skill being the last one was a bit tricky depending on where you're at.

Well man, the game you're picking up came out in 2015. It's like all "Season Passes", continued support for the game may not be covered but like Forza Motorsport 6/ Borderlands 2's case more is a win for gamers.

It took me a while to grab the airborne pass skill one but after I figured out which race to do, Westpoint Cross Country Circuit, it was fairly easy to do. All you need to do is hit a jump, in that particular race it's fall off a half constructed building lol, and then pass the next car ahead of you. The race is in the gravel yard/construction place west from Surfer's Paradise. FH2's Storm Island is a lot of fun, expansive places to go and race, like Blizzard Mountain, I think are some of the highlights to additional content in the FH landscape.

Yeah I had a short stint down in Kernersville, Winston-Salem & then Greensboro NC, and boy damn do I miss that BBQ. That's pulled pork btw, yeah up in NY BBQ would be any meats on a cookout or with the sauce lol. This was a constant discussion point with coworkers whenever they said you want BBQ for lunch?

I just found out that The Disney Afternoon Collection has Ducktales 2 and Rescue Rangers 2 aka games I've never played before.

If I had an Xbox One, that would be my only purchase for the week. 6 games for $20 is a steal.

I split the blame on that between the publishers using the term without meaning as a marketing bullet point and the dumb dumbs who can't see through it.

New Order is one of my favorite games this generation, Old Blood is good too but the story lacked the depth that made New Order so excellent. So go Wolf.


I don't follow what one has to do with the other. Steam's policy is Steam's policy and MS has nothing to do with it or refunding any of their games that are on the service.


Definitely ports but to give Capcom their due I think they actually did them right. I'm as anti "remaster" as anyone but with the DR and RE ports the graphics are significantly with the resolution bump, they improved and largely stabilized the framerate, and as importantly as anything actually priced them appropriately and have run frequent sales physical and digital. Considering that Capcom has a deserved reputation for doing Super/Ultra/Turbo cash grabs I can't fault them at all for how they handled these games and think more companies ought to follow their lead instead of charging $60 while doing less.

How's everyone enjoying Wildlands?  I've only played it once (release night) and am going to fire it up again tonight.  I enjoyed my time free roaming and sniping.  I remember I failed some objective of trying to protect some broadcast station or something.  Is there a way to play that objective again, or is it gone for good?

Raleigh, Kansas City and Chicago for best BBQ cities.

I am not picky when it comes to BBQ tho. I had brisket and hot links from a local place today. The owner is from KC but I prefer a vinegar sauce. While you can find good meats in any major city it's hard to find a good Carolina sauce. I am originally from Texas and visit family constantly but am not a fan of Texas sauces, good meats tho.

I'm really enjoying it but a lot of things get pretty repetitive. I'm fairly certain objectives come back but there are way more objectives than needed to get to the top level of the rebel skills. The AI can get pretty over powered, you can take down 3 enemies without doing anything every 20 seconds and even without getting any upgrades it takes a lot to take them down. Online play can be more fun but is a lot more hectic and harder to play stealthy without mics and there aren't AI for missing players.

Yeah I can see it being repetitive, like any Ubisoft game really, but from what I played, played the Beta, I had a fun time with it. The best part I thought was lining up your A.I. buddies' shots when you take out a guard or sniper. There's a lot of abilities you can upgrade, so depending on your playstyle you can have a quality build buffing scouting and sneaky maneuvers or beefing up firepower and brute force. From my little play session I def put points into upgrading my drone, from longer battery, bigger range to silent operation. If that game didn't come out when it did, I'd have picked it up for sure. You gotta love open-world games to enjoy Ubisoft games but thankfully I do haha.

Yes sir. I suppose that's why I love TX meat. I don't want sauce to taint the flavor.

 
I have a HUGE 360 backlog but is Darksiders 2 worth getting ? I know it's $2 but it'd be at least 6 months before I get to playing it. I enjoyed the 1st one quite a bit though.

I think you can find amazing BBQ in any city. Alamo BBQ in Richmond, VA is the best BBQ joint I've ever eaten at. It's a hole

Gaming related, I am completely in love with Fallout 4. I'd have to say that the $35 Primal/FO4 bundle has been one of the best gaming purchases I've made in a long time. Both games have been exceptional.

I really enjoy it. The DLC and challenges have started so that ads somethign fresh to it. Denpending on how you play you can rush through it or take your time like me collecting stuff and doing all the missions. Also there are two endings for the game as well. I know if you get the bad one first you can go back and get the good one. Not sure if it works the other way around but I wouldn't see why not. And like others said it can be really fun with online players.
