It's honestly probably one of the best original Xbox games.
Towards the end they say "fans will be very happy with the price. But I can't talk about that."

They couldn't find the original source code, so they had to take the compiled binaries and de-compile them. That doesn't bode well...

I just shotgunned the last four episodes of Season 4-B. I did not expect that direction at all, but I am overall pleased with how the season progressed and ended. The little teaser for the next season, however, did nothing for me. :)

Been wanting to watch 4B for ages. I just saw a "new episodes" notice on Hulu. It shows episode 7 (I think that's 4B ep 1) under "watch next episode" but when I go to the episode list it only shows up to S4E6. Hopefully they're just hidden and if I do "watch next episode" I can watch them like that.
 
Killer Instinct added 2 free Ultimates packs through the in-game Store. Might only be limited time free since it shows a price of $0.00.

Ultimates are like a more embarrassing Ultra in that you can only do them with a Supreme Victory. When you do an Ultra with a green health bar, quickly press Light Kick plus Light Punch at the same time, and your character will go into their Ultimate animation. (Only select characters currently have Ultimates.)

Basically. It's like that character only existed for that purpose, which felt extra weird with the generic-tribal-BS, and it didn't add anything to the game. It was just dumb and kinda gross IMHO.

I picked up Dead Space 3 in a pawn shop for $8 today. I still don't have part 2. I finished 1 though. Think I'm ok to start 3 before playing 2?

As far as the sale, the only things I picked up are the two SW pinball tables I was missing and Axion Verge at the last minute.

Killer Instinct Ultimates are going to get old fast during Ranked games versus the Killer tier players I seem to always get matched up against, despite only being Bronze and only having a handful of Ranked wins.

A lot of Killers seem to be total d***ks who go out of their way to get Perfects and triple Ultras, then teabag you (is that still funny?), then PM you to question your sexual orientation and things they allegedly did with my mother last night.

The upside of Ultimates is that you don't have to sit through your character's unskipable win animation since an Ultimate finish goes strait to the results screen.

There was a Tiny Toon All Stars game for Genesis that included a basketball game, along with soccer. For a while, that basketball game was the bloodsport of choice for my bro-in-law and I back in the day, after we would burn out on Mutant League Football.

Just keep in mind Dead Space 3 practically killed the series, though I guess that's EA's fault for forcing in the action, co-op, and microtransactions more than anything else. I wish we at least got Visceral's own idea for the forced co-op, where the second player was a crazy internal Isaac, at least it sounded original.

I haven't finished 3 but the way the story picks up I really think you'd want to play 2 first.

The biggest difference is an improved physics engine and graphics bump for the Xbox One editions. They're essentially the same on either platform, crossbuy on Xbox so always go Xbox 360 then Xbox One first. Each version has its own achievements so you can double dip if you are good enough to unlock everything lol.

Dumbfounded is a great word; I remember that conversation and felt similarly. Reminded me why competition/diversity is so vital to this industry, in that people expect and enjoy such different things. I recommended FC3 to a friend a few months ago and basically told her to just plow through the story bits to get back to the stealthy bow-hunting.

FC4, Primal and Blood Dragon were also good, but failed to fully recapture the magic for me. They also suffered from Ubisoft's avalanche of open-world busywork, though thankfully it's no longer necessary to collect 100% of the zillion items/feathers/do-dads for completion. Loved the humor in Blood Dragon though, and would welcome a sequel as many others here mentioned.

 
Has anyone else had issues with the "Updates" section under Games & apps not displaying all the updates that might be out there? I had closed out of that area completely and even did a few hard reboots and nothing came up yet when I tried starting Destiny, GoW4, and Titanfall 2 (so far) they all said they needed an update and then it showed up under that tab.

The Updates section had always been slow for me, then it seemed to get faster after one of the system updates a number of months back, but it went back to being slow recently. Shouldn't take that long to just check the versions of things on the HDD and cross check them against the marketplace to generate a list. Last night it, Updates cycled for about 5 minutes without bringing up anything (like the new GOW4 update), so I went to load the game. It said there was an update and it still took the console a little while for it to finally start downloading the 5+ GB update. The update list finally got a few other things later.

Thanks for posting.

As a heads-up, the only "region locked" codes offered by that site are the PlayStation codes. Xbone DLC is region-free and so is Steam/GOG's (at least in regards to these freebies). So the warning only matters if you're getting anything PlayStation-related.

They are free forever. I have no idea why they aren't just included in an update, but there you go.

Since I have so much stuff installed it always takes a long time to check for updates. I usually just stay on that section long enough to get it started checking and then go do something else for a bit.
