That and Fargo, which isn't quite as good this season, but still better than almost everything else on the tube.
 
There is a page for Phantom Dust on the X1  console but it says it won't be available until 7 pm.......in  2020. Probably the canceled HD version, I guess.\

Also, anyone else get Fallout 4 added in their ready to install list? Kinda surprised i haven't seen anyone else on any site with the same deal, unless I truley lucked out.

Most likely a yet to be announced free to play weekend. Saw it on my list last night and saw someone mention it in the thread but that was shortly before the sales went live, so it got buried.
 
Some interesting stats for those of you who never meet women who play games. Microsoft surveyed 2000 Xbox One owners:

-The split in Xbox One ownership between genders is 42 percent female and 58 percent male.
-Most Xbox One gamers reside in the 25- to 34-year-old bracket, followed closely by the 35- to 44-year-old bracket.
-56 percent of Xbox One owners live with a married spouse or partner, 10 percent live alone, and 23 percent live with their parents.

Microsoft says there's little correlation between age or gender when it comes to determining player engagement, and it says autonomy is a better measure. Young adults and teens have the most autonomy, naturally, and families comprised of young children have the least gaming autonomy, according to Microsoft.

There's a 42% chance that any player is female if they are based in the US (they only surveyed US players). When including servers which might have players from any region around the world, this number may change, but that's still probably a lot higher than most people were expecting.

I know it's unpopular opinion to an extent but yeah, I'm not going to get an X1. I'm just sticking with my 360. We are legion. Or at least cohort. Or century if you want to be pessimistic I suppose.

 
It's funny, out of Everything that is in the BC sale I owned Nothing new that hit BC with it. And with the exception of dead space 2 & 3 there's Nothing on sale that I'd want to spend any money on. Mass Effect possibly, but I don't think it's held up really, and I played it so much over the last decade I don't really think I'd ever play it again. Now if ME 2 & 3 were available in this sale, yes I'd def buy those without a thought.

While 2,000 is not an enormous sample size, it's large enough to probably be somewhat generalizable. I would argue that that large of a percentage (42) in such a sample could indicate the percent is fairly accurate, since if women made up significantly fewer players, then the odds of them getting surveyed here would be much, much lower.

In terms of real world stuff, anecdotes don't really hold up to surveys. If we're talking consoles in general, I can think of seven women I know off the top of my head who own a 360 and/or a current gen system (and use them regularly).

Just because something applies to you doesn't mean it applies to everyone. The majority of my female friends play video games, mostly on PC though. I work with a lot of women that probably don't play games but I don't know them some well enough to know either way. It evens out. This Microsoft poll isn't really anything new, there have been numerous polls that show the split is close to what Microsoft found. I've even seen a study that says more women in their 20s play video games than teenage boys. It probably also depends on what the polls definition of "play games" is because if you include stuff like phone games, I barely know anyone that doesn't play games
 
Comic Jumper is pretty good. Sure the gameplay gets repetitive, but the humorous banter and the creative levels (c'mon, they have a freakin manga level) keep me coming back for more.

Good news, everyone! When I got home, I discovered that M$ is no longer holding my account hostage and that I can now buy games on my 360 again. I hurried up and bought Arkanoid Live and Qix++ just in case, and I plan to wait a few hours before I buy anything else. I plan to buy at least 18 games before the sale ends, so I have to pace myself. Sorry if I alarmed anyone with my earlier posts, but I learned a valuable lesson - savor the meal, don't gulp it down in one bite which means that I'm actually going to play some of these tonight before buying more.

Yeah I understand the math enough to know why and how, it's just lazy. They could have easily had 100,000 respondents with no problem if they wanted to. For comparison sake on a 1M person email survey I've seen response rates as high as 40%, it doesn't cost anymore money so I just find it to be a weak effort.

I noticed that Alice: Madness Returns is missing from the list in the OP. I wouldn't have known about it if not for recent posts. I find it interesting that you can still buy the 360 version even though the Steam version has been pseudo-delisted.

Can anyone say whether Portal: Still Alive is worth buying if I've already played through both Portal games? And is the Still Alive content exclusive to 360?

Yeah I looked up Alice Madness Returns on Steam to make a price comparison and found out it has been removed. It is selling on G2A right now for $21.95 on steam and $13.72 on origin. After seeing those prices I jumped on the Xbox deal at $4.99.

 
I am surprised nobody has been talking about picking up Civilization Revolution. There are tons of Civ gamers out there that will enjoy this game.

Yeah I got that free too with gold like a lot of games here, but for those that didn't, unlike some of the other games, I am surprised that no one is mentioning picking it up. Ubisoft thru Uplay also gave away some of these games for free last year as part of their anniversary celebrations incl. Prince of Persia, the Crew, Beyond Good and Evil HD, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, and Rayman Origins.

I beat it on PC right around launch. It was pretty rough, but fun enough coop. Not sure if it came to consoles, but there was like a 6GB patch close to launch that improved the graphics and some of the bugginess
 
Phantom Dust still isn't showing up on console for me unless I search it then click the free multiplayer pack then go down to it but even then it keeps starting getting and error and the restarting again.

Yes, we got Civ Rev with GWG some time ago.

I'm a huge, HUGE Civ fan (maybe my favorite gaming franchise ever for any platform), but I'm not big on Civ Rev. It's too streamlined. Civ III is still my perfect game, though I own 4 and 5 and think 5 is pretty good (4 is a hot mess though) .

I mean, if you don't play Civ anywhere else, Civ Rev is good I guess. But man, it is a shadow of the PC games and I wish it weren't so.
