  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

You sure? Not calling you a liar, but the borderlands 2 season pass I got for free from Chile worked perfectly fine on my main account. Did you download the dlc from the made up account and then play the newly installed season pass dlc on your main account? I could easily answer my own question in a matter of minutes, but being the CAG In me doesn't want to open my shrink wrapped copy of Saints 4 until I start playing it.

 
Just finished reviewing this week's massive sale.  A few comments in case it helps anyone:

I was eyeing Gotham City Imposters in the 99cent sale for PS3 but decided to pick it up for x360 instead.   Here's my haul:

I would recommend buying the rest with the exception of Rocky and Bullwinkle, Streetfighter, Mars and the original FX tables (from everyone else's input) because I hardly see them on sale. This is probably the only time I've seen all of them on sale. The Marvel Collections seem to go on sale more often than the individual tables or the Star Wars collection. I really enjoyed the soccer (chose the Madrid colors) and Ms Splosion Man.

 
Turned out to be a fairly decent sale. I ended up getting:

Well everyone's free to call me dumb but after not having a 360 for four years I can't figure out how to find the games I've previously purchased on XBL again with this new dashboard.

 
It's official: warface is unplayable XD

Two days for launch and it's broken in so many ways. It was working pretty smooth till wednesday with some random server issues but bearable, but someone hit the wrong button at crytek hq and now it takes ages to log in, to load and move around the menus, all sluggish and unresponsive, and if you are lucky enough to get a match started rest assured it will disconnect before it ends. Add to the mix that people is losing purchased items, paid credits and vip time play (real money). Use as topping that devs are unreachable and mods in xbox forums (because the game hasnt a proper forum site, in 21st century) do their best being jerks, telling people mentioning 'refunds' go against tos, suggesting to participate in stupid 'funny threads' in the meantime, while not giving any comfort or answer but 'devs are working on it'.

And the truth is the game is awesome when it works, the problem is it doesnt. And so far it weights 6,6 GB and counting :D/  which is ridiculous, even more considering is a crytek game. Efficiency they call it  XD

Its been broke since it came out a month or so ago. Seems weird that people aren't contacting devs and are using Xbox forums instead. Shoot them an email and if you are having problems. Works much better than posting on a forum if you want a direct response.

I have no doubt this game will suck. Of course Activision wants to get it on XB1. They spent the resources making the game. I said Sony is the one who should be enjoying this.

The last update of known issues of the xbox edition in that site is march the 26th, and they encourage xbox users to find assistance within microsoft like this:

Two days for launch and it's broken in so many ways. It was working pretty smooth till wednesday with some random server issues but bearable, but someone hit the wrong button at crytek hq and now it takes ages to log in, to load and move around the menus, all sluggish and unresponsive, and if you are lucky enough to get a match started rest assured it will disconnect before it ends. Add to the mix that people is losing purchased items, paid credits and vip time play (real money). Use as topping that devs are unreachable and mods in xbox forums (because the game hasnt a proper forum site, in 21st century) do their best being jerks, telling people mentioning 'refunds' go against tos, suggesting to participate in stupid 'funny threads' in the meantime, while not giving any comfort or answer but 'devs are working on it'.

And the truth is the game is awesome when it works, the problem is it doesnt. And so far it weights 6,6 GB and counting :D/ which is ridiculous, even more considering is a crytek game. Efficiency they call it XD

I can't even play anymore. Literally it just keeps saying 'loading.' It is great when it works, but when it doesn't it's literally unplayable. What the hell are they doing with this game...

 
Ended up getting the Toy Soldiers and State of Decay DLC despite not having either game.  Now to patiently wait for a discount on those games.

Strange that you bought both tables. Aren't the soccer (football) tables all the same but just have a cosmetic change in regards to the colours? Thought the whole point was that you were just supposed to buy one and then there was a global meta-game where everyone's scores go toward their team. Can you actually play multiple tables in terms of the various teams? Not sure how it works?

 
Didn't see it mentioned it the OP but is there a usual time the store updates? Like the current sale for example says it ends on the 21st but does that mean it will go all day or they'll update at some point mid day?

I have bought sale stuff before as close as 30 minutes before midnight and the sale prices were good so I think it all day. I might be wrong but I think the only company that does that mid day crap is nintendo for some reason

It goes all day until Tuesday morning, around 3 AM PST or so (someone correct me on this). But the new stuff goes on sale in the middle of the day I think around 6-8 (someone correct me on this too).

State Of Decay's lowest has been 10 bucks I think. It's fairly expensive and sells well, it may be a while until it starts going around 5$ if you're not okay with the 50% discount.

Toy Soldiers is a game that has... uhm... codes lying around. Which means many CAGs have spare codes, there's contests on the Internet for it, auctions up on Listia, and so on. It's a fairly easy game to find for free/trade, so if you have the chance to do so, I'd suggest you to look around for that

You guys kidding me? Who cares if Xbox or Playstation has better sales. I hope Microsoft has fantastic deals this week, so SOny can try to match them next week. I got the awesome game, Castlestorm, 2 weeks ago for free (bing credit) and then no more than a week later  Im able to pick up both Braid and Gotham Imposters for a grand total of $2!!! (Free aswell thanks to that $5 PSN Credit)

I dl all the trials and the only diff were the colors and the mascots. The layout looked the same to me. I don't know about the scoring but you sound right.

 
I redboxed 360 Titanfall this weekend and if you don't have a Xbox One or powerful pc like me, that game is pretty fantastic on 360.

Without a campaign and it being the worst version I plan to wait til it's $40 before I buy it but it holds up pretty well.
 
My Saints 4 season pass actually worked, so that's two free season passes Ive gotten from screw-ups. Very fortunate. Now let's see some Banjo Koozie goodness go on sale tonight. ^ Great to hear. Ill wait for the eventual $20 since it's looked at as a "step-son" if you will.

If this week is even 1/4 as good as these Easter sales, I'll be happy. Seriously, if you'd asked me for two things I wanted to be on sale, I would've asked for Pinball FX 2 and Super Stardust HD. I got both.

I now own all the Pinball FX 2 tables, and I'll be posting scores in all of them over the coming month. Anyone looking for Wizard Score or some scores to chase should add me.

Meh, probably but I liked the Madrid and Arsenal colours. Not huge fans of either team but it seemed fun. I haven't played it yet though.

Yeah, $10 is about where I would feel comfortable on SoD. Will have to look into Toy Soldiers, thanks for the heads up.
 
Dead Island Multiplayer pack, Pacman and its DLC. Anybody willing to taught me in or out of them ? Never played Dead Island before and i'm not a fan of First Person perspective. Played pacman before, like a long time ago.. as is N64 Namco museum. Should i go for it ?
