  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

I've been waffling on Pac-Man all night. Play the demo if you can, it's a far cry from the original. Quite fun for the two minutes the demo gives you but not sure how much staying power it will have.

I thought the 4 that are part of the season pass got progressively better, with Tiny Tina's being my favorite and big game hunter being my second favorite. As far as the small themed dlc packs I'm not sure, I bought the psycho character but I didn't buy the small packs because of how short I heard they are and now I just don't feel like jumping back into that world unless it's for the new Borderlands 1.5. I loved the main story and all 4 dlc packs that came w the season pass though.

Yeah I would agree with this sentiment. The season pass and characters are the way to go in my opinion.

 
I hope we get Mass Effect DLC on sale soon. I've been playing through the main games and I like them, but they are not worth what they are charging for DLC.

The Citadel DLC went on sale a few months back and that was pretty much mana from heaven. We probably won't see a big ME DLC sale until the 360 is on the verge of abandonment in a year or two.
 
Did I miss some sort of points redemption deadline? I have a point code that keeps giving a "something went wrong" error when I try to redeem it. It'll tell me it's for 800 points but when I click accept it just gives me an error. Was planning on grabbing all the pinball tables I am missing.

 
The collectionist in me, despite being a hardcore Juventus supporter, kinda wants to get more tables in Pinball FX2 for the different teams. Does anyone know how the game handles multiple tables? Does it count as one table with one set of score and one multiplier for the Wizard score, and you get to select the "skin" which you use to play? Or will it count as many separate tables, and they give you the chance to score far more overall?

Little bit less than a year (so far). I played it a little bit with friends when it first came out and enjoyed it. Planned on going back sometime this year. Guess it will be sooner than I was expecting.

Posted on marketplace on May 8th last year, so it'll be about a year and 5 months total when it's done. I 400/400'ed it on May 29th and haven't played it since. Perhaps if they had included achievements with the new levels that were released ...

The football/soccer tables all have different themes and it boils down to which team you want to root for but they're the same table.

Crap, looks like I gotta play DCC2 again, liked what I played a while ago. Also I laughed out loud on the ME3 DLC sale.

But I'm trying to understand what happens if one happens to buy multiple tables. Will the scores count more times, or you just get to choose a skin for the same table (and the same set of scores)?

Anything Marvel you don't own, all the Star Wars tables pretty much, plus Ms. Splosion Man, which is also easy for scoring. Also any of the football tables, they're all the same so buying one or another doesn't change anything besides the way it looks.

For the most part, the tables released after Pinball FX2 came out (which is most of them) are top notch. I recommend the soccer/football themed table as well as the Core pack, which has the Rome table (my favorite). I haven't played most of the newer tables yet, since I'm slowly making my way up to them, but people seem to like the Star Wars and Marvel themed ones.
 
I've never played this pinball game... and honestly the only pinball game I ever enjoyed was sonic spinball. Is there anything different about FX2 or is it just your standard run of the mill pinball game?

just normal pinball for the most part. The excellent game mechanics are what makes the game shine. They really feel great, just like a real table. The balls actually have weight to them and roll just like a real table would.

Sonic Spinball was awful. Just awful.

Against my better judgement I wound up buying more than I wanted to - damn you MS. I'm out of work at the moment so it was a very stupid move.

Here was my haul:

Dragonborn and Dawnguard DLC for Skyrim

All the DLC other than the weapon pack for Dishonored

Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC for AC

Epic Table for Pinball FX2

The two DLC for Toy Soldiers

Thankfully it turned out I had all the DLC I wanted for New Vegas and I decided to pass on the Saint's Row IV season pass for two reasons: I currently don't own the game and still need to play SR 1-3 of which I do own and secondly I live in Australia and so I'm trying to decide if I buy a local copy or if I buy one from overseas as they are incompatible and I'm not sure how the DLC works in that case with either so I decided to skip it for now.

By the way, I absolutely didn't realize Fuse dropped to $20. What a forgettable game that looked to be! What was Insomniac thinking?

 
I thought about buying some stuff this week, but I know that I'll never play it. I tried to go back to Skyrim, but damn, is that game frustrating... I hate going way back to the start of a level when I die. F that. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Was still considering the  Batman games, since I have played neither of them.

Personally I prefer my "oh shit, it's Monday night, time to check xbldb" methodology. :p

Then again, I'm usually busy into the evening anyways.

Also, I foresee Borderlands 2 being a GwG game in the somewhat near future.

I can see them doing Borderlands 2 vanilla. They'd get more people buying the $100+ of DLC because the game is more current. I can see them doing this around E3 time, when the Borderlands Pre-Sequel gets more time in the spotlight.
