  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

Tempted to buy DBZ:UT for 9.89...haven't played one on 360 outside of Burst Limit, so hopefully this one turns out at least decent.

I know this isn't a common opinion but I've been able to get some enjoyment out of all of the DBZ games on the 360, I really enjoyed Battle of Z though, but it would be nice to get what we used to on the PS2 games again. That said I'm sure I'll still be picking up the new one on the One either way. :p

 
Looks like the new Titanfall dlc Frontier's Edge is now out. Are there any good indie games coming out in august for x1? X1 needs something besides Metro Redux and Diabro 3.

Yes, Xbox does all of their price drops around this time. The weekly sales also follow this time on Monday nights.

I'm pretty sure Guacamelee also showed up at that time at the beginning of June, even though it was a new release. But, then again, they did put it up like on the 2nd instead of the 1st.

These tracks should come down from the store on Tuesday August 26th, so you still have a few weeks left to pick them up. Been like that since like 4 in the morning. Achievements weren't unlocking at all on the XB1 earlier now it is random if they do. Some unlock some do. For me I had to earn them again. Frustrating. It must be something hard to fix that it is taking this long. Apps won't open. etc.... ughhh

There was much more problems that are showing in the link, but it appears they fixed the XB1 problems. I'm still having the problems though. :(

It's been crazy, I had an achievement unlock at least half an hour after it was earned and after the game was closed last night. 

 
Yeah, saw the service alert for the One go away. Guess we're seeing the downside to cloud-based achievements and game progress now. Gonna take a stab at Titanfall's new update today, see what happens.

Well, it seems that the Xbox One is back up, and Titanfall at least, is functional. Got an achievement, and it popped right.

Xbox One games are available to download now on the XO marketplace, and according to the post above you can queue them from the web as well. Can't confirm 360 title since I already own it.

if you search for the games on the website they do show up as free crimson dragon is a huge download so i wont be able to play it until august so it works out 

 
The more I stew over EA Vault, the more I like the idea. I just did the one month subscription and am downloading Fifa, Madden, and Battlefield as I type.
 
So, I grabbed Strike Suit Zero and Crimson Dragon.

Strike Suit Zero does not feel like a next gen game at all. It feels like Star Fox, with all of the things that made Star Fox fun, removed. Add in a Japanese "mech" feel, a crappy soundtrack, and nausea-inducing controls that feel like you've had a few drinks; and that about sums up this game. Can't argue with free though.

Crimson Dragon is okay, from what I played of the first mission. Again, the controls are sh#t, but a little more bearable than Strike Suit Zero.

I don't see myself really going back to either of these games, (maybe if I'm hard up for some achievements later), but they were free, and I don't feel cheated on that price. At the very least, them being free now gets them out of the roster, and opens up better games for the taking next month.
 
Looks like I missed out on getting Guacamelee at the last minute which is a shame because I was really looking forward to playing it. Oh well. Hard to be upset when I'm getting two other free games.

I usually snag everything right away but I don't have an xbone yet and microsoft locked me out of my account for 30 days for changing my account's email address.

 
I kind of find it hard to feel bad for people who wait until 2 hours are left in July to get the free games.

Does anyone have a code for EA Access that they aren't going to use?  I got into the preview dashboard today, but apparently you still need a code to get EA Access.

 
Since people here are actually helpful, I have a PSN question. Anyone purchase games from the UK marketplace? I have an account setup, but Sony won't accept a credit card payment from the US. If I buy a UK Sony money card, can I use it on my UK account to buy a game? It seems like it would work fine, but wanted to ask before I spent the cash on it. Thanks!

Since people here are actually helpful, I have a PSN question. Anyone purchase games from the UK marketplace? I have an account setup, but Sony won't accept a credit card payment from the US. If I buy a UK Sony money card, can I use it on my UK account to buy a game? It seems like it would work fine, but wanted to ask before I spent the cash on it. Thanks!

I can't totally confirm it for uk but i know it works that way with Japanese accounts.
