  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Sweet. Indiana Jones 2 dropped to $10 as well. That one's so hard to find at a decent price. Might be in for that and Star Wars 3 this week (even though I hate owning the LEGO games digitally, the only other one I have digitally is Batman 1).

I'm holding out hope that the 3 other DLCs for TFU1 get a sale.

For anyone considering Lego Indy 1 for $10, don't. It's $5 used at GameStop (for 360).

Compare that to Lego Indy 2 which is $25 used at GameStop (for 360), and you'll see why $10 on the GoD is pretty good.

Yup, it is. And yes, we had a May the 4th sale last year too, and I think it was actually worse than this one.

Next Tuesday is the 6th, so they had to make the sale this week to be relevant.

 
Am I the only one that thinks Jar Jar wasn't THAT bad? I figured he was being used in the same manner as C-3PO in the original trilogy so his antics didn't bother me that much. Plus I heard the actor in real life is some kickboxer so I don't want to say something bad and have him kick my ass.

Lego Indy is the worst one? I'd give that honor to Lego Harry Potter. Fighting things with a magic wand does not work.

I thought a Clone Wars series was a waste of time. It was fine when Episode 3 wasn't out yet but I feel this CGI series is unnecessary. I'd rather see a series that connects Episode 3 and 4. Answer stuff like what Han Solo did to piss off Jabba so much and how Leia earned the title of Princess.

That said, apparently the Tatooine DLC has never been on sale, and the Jedi Temple DLC was only on sale once for 50% off, 5 years ago. So.. not too shabby. Just wish they'd include the other 3 TFU1 DLCs, but maybe they will.

 
The Shadowrun disc has been going for less than $5 in stores for years now, so $15 is kind of a slap in the face. I've actually never picked it up though so I'd be kind of happy if it just went GWG one month.

Commence gushing:

Servers are still up, and the community is active, albeit very small. You'll recognize names pretty quickly. The learning curve is steep but its one of the most fulfilling shooters I've ever played once mastered. The levels are porous like sponges and when you learn which floor connects to which ceiling you'll be bouncing with grace around the areas having a blast. When on equal skill level with opponents the firefights and hit and run tactics become like a dance where the first to lose their footing dies. The races, powers and techs add plenty of diversity for play styles and are impeccably balanced. There's a counter for everything.

Shadowrun was criminally underrated because it wasn't the RPG fanboys of the IP were expecting and due to its lack of a singleplayer campaign, which carries much less of a stigma now than it used to. The game was also rushed to be a launch title and is actually missing an additional race intended for the game, Orcs. Despite being rushed its, as I've said impeccably balanced, has brilliant level design and the really well done team play.

Its my personal best team based multiplayer shooter of all time.

If Attack of the Clones has taught us anything it's that the mystery is going to be better than the actual story. I mean, when the clone wars were first referenced, how cool did that sound? And then it became Attack of the Clones.

I almost grabbed it from GS during the B2G1 but wasn't sure if it was still playable. Probably would end up like MAG where it sits on my shelf, never once touched, until the servers shut down.

If there's one thing Microsoft is really good at, itvs giving its products confusing names. Xbox One and Xbox Originals makes you wonder if anyone at Microsoft even remembers they made a first Xbox.

Also, watching Larry Hryb smugly posing with an ET cart makes me want to punch him even more than usual. What the hell does he have to do with the Atari era of gaming? Shouldn't it have been the game's creator, Howard Scott Warshaw, who got the first cartridge?

I'd usually give Larry Hryb the benefit of the doubt cuz he has a pretty tough job when dealing with the Xbox community. But he definitely does a good job coming off as a total d-bag on a regular basis.

Maybe it was meant to be symbolic, or even prophetic. The coming second video game crash, at the hands of Microsoft.

Seriously though, I wish MS would step it up a bit, and get some damned games out for the One. They need to bring their A game at E3. Sony has a VR headset to show off. If MS doesn't have something to compete, along with Illumiroom, they may as well hand Sony the show. If I so much as hear the word "TV", or see that weasel that presented last year at the One unveiling, I'm tuning out.

I want the system I chose to succeed. Get on it, MS.

I think it's more that we expected both systems to have had a few more games out by now including some AAA titles and there's been a lot of delays on both sides.

-System Shock 2

-Fallout New Vegas mods

-Oblivion mods

Etc....

Seriously though, exclusives are not a good thing for gamers, they attempt to lower competition between games while heightening competition between much more expensive (and fragile) console hardware while attempting to re-focus customer attention onto brand loyalty rather than game quality.

hmmm. I will say that Titanfall and PvZ is the best one two combo and Ryse was fun for a launch title. I didnt like Dead Rising 3 though and Killer Instinct is great too. I spent over 35 hrs in Titanfall and like 18 in infamous.

I have a One. I have Forza, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Call of Duty, and Titanfall. I've played them all, thoroughly. I've also rented, and played Ryse, Assassin's Creed, and a few others.

I don't have a PS4, nor do I support it.

I want something more. I play my 360 about 90% of the time. So, turn off your fanboy raygun, and take a step back. Microsoft does need to step it up. Take off the rose-colored glasses, and read the articles with the sales figures. Microsoft needs to do something to ramp up enthusiasm.

Damn another lackluster sale. Although those Force DLCs give me a little hope. They haven't been on sale since 2009, maybe we will see some Mass Effect 2 DLC go on sale. Anybody play them? Are they worth the $2.50?
