  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

Yup, this is six weeks now where I won't purchase anything on Live. Far Cry Classic is tempting, but I already own Far Cry: Predator and from the sounds of all the reviews it sounds like Classic doesn't really do anything to spruce the game up or not make it feel like it came from that long ago.

Alright, I've been disappointed in the past few weeks, but this week is much better. Blood Dragon's great and at a good price, it's a first-time sale on Invisible Tiger (which is dirt-cheap) and FC Classic, and SRIV, Ghost Recon and Rayman are all at good non-repeat prices too.

We've had better weeks, but it's not that bad, quit whining.

This week ends my 4-week streak of not buying anything on Live (last thing I paid for was the DLC for Sacred Citadel), so I'm pretty grateful.

Do you already have Invincible Tiger or does it just not interest you?

Pretty sure that Invincible Tiger went for a cut some time ago, as I already own it and I cannot force myself to buy anything that's not at least 50% off... well, maybe this time the discount's higher, I honestly cannot remember :)

Nice little arcade game, anyway, at least judging from the little I've played in the demo, which brought back memories of Bruce Lee on the C64. Plus, it offer a slew of 3D gaming options, if you fancy this sort of things.

Nah, permanent price drops are all right too. Jumped on Poker Night 2 as soon as it's price dropped 50% off.

 
This is one of the better sales compared to the ugly that we have seen the last few Mondays.....I'm torn on Saints 4 since I haven't started 3 yet.
 
I was so tempted to get Saints Row 4 until I noticed I only have 1 GB left on my hard drive. Plus I have the three previous games in the series on disc so I might as well be consistent and wait.

Far Cry Classic is a definite purchase. Downloading Dark Souls to try out in the meantime.

 
I am really disappointed that the DS DLC is NOT on sale this week. I've been wanting to get that, but did not want to pay $15 for it. I know it is worth it, but at least have a sale on DLC to encourage buying. I'm not buying the DLC until it goes on sale! :speaktothehand:

SR3 and SR4 are both great, but definitely play 3 first. It will really add to your enjoyment of 4.

Why do you think they picked Dark Souls, other than it can be a polarized game, for the game with gold, the DLC of course. See they interest people in a game with more content at the tip of their fingertips.
 
Due to the 5th year anniversary of Bing, you can earn up to 152 credits today. Could help you decide if you want to purchase something this week or pile up your credits for something else.

 
Looks like Arkham Knight has been pushed into 2015. Even more of a reason to wait and get an X1 with games like Forza Horizon 2 coming to 360 and I'd wager good money, MS will announce more 360 cross Gen games at E3

Xbox.com shows it at $29.99. (EDIT: that's for 360. It's only 33% off for XB1)

If it were 19.99 I'd jump on it. But it's not worth 30 to me.

This week is basically a rehash of the sales over the past 2 months. Beyond lame.

Ok fuck it, i won't be waiting no more for DS DLC to go on sale. Since i have started playing it again i don't care i will buy it, need to play it.

Yeah there isn't much. In the X1 thread I listed (so far, pre e-3) EA Sports UFC, AC Unity, Evolve and Sunset Overdrive. Everything else is cross-gen.

 
Well, I think I've decided that once X1 GwG starts, I'll most likely jump to that system. I'll try to finish each game within the two weeks before the next one is available which will hopefully eliminate any backlog from starting. Yeah, right. It won't help with the backlog on my 360 though.

 
Ok so basically if Im doing my math right I could take my disk copy of Saints row Iv Into gamestop for 12.60 trade in value and go digital for 12.(yes I know it's only 60 cent profit but my kids are hell on game disk)

Future Soldier looks catchy, that is probably the only game I'm interested in.  After seeing gameplay I find it to be similar to Splinter Cell in a way but with more team/group action.  

I'm still debating whether I should get digital copy or used disk from goHastings for about same price.

Look up some videos on Youtube. I enjoyed it but according to some hardcore Ghost Recon fans, it wasn't up to par. Besides, for $6 you can't go wrong.

I don't buy from hastings so I don't know if their used copies come with online passes, but the pass is required if you're planning to play multiplayer or coop. Just FYI. It should be included in the digital copy (I assume; never bought a GwG before...).

I downloaded it for free months back when MS made mistakes around marketplace. RL is an amazing platformer and tons of fun. I just can't get into that game, it sits in my HD. Thing is I always find more amazing games to play like Dead Space trilogy I'm just glued to that. IMO Dead Space 2 is the most amazing game on 360. Rayman Legends will have to wait.

I bought games from goHasting in the past, mostly used and I can't complain, up my cheapass valley every time. I did both goH through Amazon and directly from their website. On Memorial day they had 25% off deal and I got Rage, Anarchy Reigns and FFXIII-2 for $10 and about $6 shipping. Hard copies are far more attractive to me. When I'm completely done with the games I resell them and most of the time I get my money back + bonus.

 
This week Europe doesn't have to dance with the ugliest one: that Ghost Recon game is half the price here. Still, i'm hesitating...

Indeed, 3 Euros-something is a lovely little deal. It's already been for that price once I think, which is the reason it's been sitting in my backlog since sometime last year.

 
 So I wanna get Rayman Legends and I have a 3 month Xbox Live Gold card but I don't really feel like using it right now, if I use use a 1 week trial code will that give me the gold discount? How about if I use one of the Bing 1 month codes?

I remember this being answered in a previous thread but I can't remember what the answer was.

Yes RL is gold exclusive price, and you need Gold Status to have the discount applicable. You will not get Gold Status using 2,7,14 Day Trial codes.

That means you need 1,3,12 Month Live Gold subscription code to active Gold Status.

EDIT: Anybody having problems with their X1 mic? I stopped being able to hear people a few days ago. They can still hear me.
