  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

Sorry to be a total prick but you do realize that ME3 Citadel was on sale back at the end of January back for 50% off. It was an instant trigger pull for me, though I haven't played it yet.

The likelihood of it going on sale again any time soon is going to be very very slim. They've had various ME and Dragon Age sales in the past but it's been a long time since we've seen a ME one as they don't often go on sale as you mentioned.

I played it a little bit tonight. It's everything you would want in a Sniper Elite game (although I hear the enemy AI can be dumb). Looks and runs great on the Xbox One.

I haven't played co-op yet, but players could revive each other in Sniper Elite V2 (my review) so it probably works the same way in III.

Seriously though, F-U-C-K Fable 3. I couldn't finish it because I got hit with that game breaking glitch. I joined a random online game, next day I get on. My character is naked with only underwear on and I lost everything.

Those are the best bugs though. I don't tend to take games like that online unless I know who I'm playing with anyway. Learned that lesson in Borderlands 1 when I went online with my only character and got joined with some poeple that were duping (which I didn't realize until I had played with them an hour or so and had already left) and it screwed my game up.

The treasure hunt from Gamestop is a promotion they run every Thursday (the last two thursdays and i believe 3 more from now) where you can get $5 MS codes. All you need is an email and Facebook. It wasn't the other players wrongdoing but totally regretted since I only stayed in there for 5 minutes. Was so pissed at the time, but Best Buy gave me $40 so it was all good lol

Week 8 or 9 of me not buying anything from the Marketplace. Instead of working on my backlog, I've been working on my cosplay and watching Boardwalk Empire. No complaints.

 
Bummer Child of Light sale doesn't extend to XB1.. or that one price doesn't get us both 360/XB1 versions. I'd bite on that yesterday.

Well, I already have $9x.xx so actually around 256.

I already own 11 retail games via digital or physical, and 3 arcade. (counting Trials under retail, but it doesn't really matter either way. Also not counting Sniper Elite 3 since it's not up yet, and since my CE is on it's way from Amazon)

damn just my luck. I was on a trip during the end of of January and didn't log in to check anything. Well thanks for the heads up though. At least it did go on sale once meaning there is a precedent for it. :pray:

 
So, recently Saints Row IV was on sale for 13 bucks. Lots of folks including myself bit on it. What a hilariously amazing game. Soon after the season pass, containing the 2 campaign DLCs, went on sale for 4 dollars as well - again, instabuy. I finally checked the whole game off my list: 100% completion of main game and DLCs on hardcore, gold medal on all optional stuff, all upgrades on weapons and all achievements too. Definitely worth the price. Although, the first DLC (Enter The Dominatrix) had an absurd glitch, one that I've had never encountered in my lenghty X360 "career". I'm on mission 2, attempting to boost the achievements that require a certain amount of kills with each one of the 3 new weapons. I kill a hundered people with the flamethrower, as per achievement. Achievement unlocked: killed 250 enemies with the minigun. What? So I switch to the grenade launcher, 100 kills, achievement unlocked: 100 kills with grenade launcher. Fair enough, that's what I did. To be sure, I switch to the minigun and kill 250 enemies with it. Achievement unlocked: finish mission 5. What the hell? As I'm done with the 3 weapons (although the flamethrower achievement is unexplainably missing), I finish the mission. Achievement unlocked, finish all missions of the DLC. There are 5, this was the 2nd one, and it was supposed to unlock a cheevo for finishing the mission without dying - which I did. I fail an achievement on mission 3, later I retry it and I successfully unlock it: the right achievement, this time. I do the optional achievement in mission 4, what does it unlock? The 100 kills with the flamethrower achievement. Amazing. In the meantime I also unlocked another achievement which requires spending time with a friend that's only unlocked after the final mission. As I complete that, I once again get apparently random achievements, including the one for finishing mission 2 without dying.

Tl;dr: the first DLC for Saints Row IV (Enter The Dominatrix) had a bizarre bug where achievements switched. I meet the requirements for one, but a different achievement unlocks. Only 2 out of 10 achievements unlocked correctly, all the other were messed up and unlocked each other. Luckily, the glitch went around in a circle, so once I met all achievement requirements I did get them all, but still, nothing I've ever seen before.

Eldritch doesn't have time to write a script just to scam $5 codes. Trust me he got them all legally a different way than any of you knew about. Using most of the same promo he did I still have $125 left digitally while owning 21 xbox one games all digitally with the credit I got a few months ago. I got to almost $1k in points and I only spent $45.
 
MajorNelson put up the summary post, and according to it the ACIV DLC sale is also valid on the Xbone versions!

(sidenote: if anyone wants to troll a hacker, I have the cell number of the kid who hacked MajorNelson a couple years ago )

I think they're talking about the ms $10 off promo from the xb1 reveal. You could get $15 ms cards for $5. (At the ms store.com)

Recently got my old NES from the old family house and hooked it up. My late 80's Legend of Zelda cartridge still has my old saves and works fine. I can only hope my 360 lasts half as long....I did have one RROD on me already.

 
Yo, Guacamelee is free right now for 360. Not sure if it's meant to be like that, but from what I can see... It isn't. So yeah, jump on that shit dudes. Been waiting to play this game for a long time. :D
