Cant use MSP for GOD though.
Unless your controller has a Y button. You could press that if it did, then the screen would change to MSP and pull from your points stash.

Wow, I never knew that (seriously)! Been waiting for this game to drop in price to justify using my CC. Now, I can use all the points I've received from bundles towards this game, thanks! Do I feel like a n00b!
There are some Games on Demand from Hong Kong that anyone can buy and are definitely region free though... Namely Virtual On Force and Bullet Soul. You can get them both for $40 or so in international Marketplace Points. Much cheaper than buying the discs!
Didn't know that. So i just need HK gamertag (already have one) and int. msp? :)

Finally many including mine wishes come true. On MAY 30th batman ac gets its first and perhaps last story based dlc for the price of........800 msp. I personally have a feeling that this dlc will be on such lvl as undead nightmare for rdr.

I saw this and got excited too. Been kicking myself since I passed initially on Virtual On Force but now that the greatest hits reprint is happening i'll just snag it right away this time.

No word on how much it'll cost.

^ already knew, just didnt mention it since theres a thread made for it. $60 is the price tag. I cant wait for this to be released. AC is my favorite current gen game. Also not to make it confusimg harley"s revenge is the dlc i mentioned. Both batman and robin are playable, hell maybe they throw in catwoman (who knows right?). I wanna see how it pans out and if it teases anything more for the 3rd installment.

I hope the Arkham City DLC has a lot of content, but the comment from WB is a little concerning. "the final chapter in Batman: Arkham City that adds more than two hours of original gameplay to the critically-acclaimed interactive title." More than 2 could mean a lot of things.

Also, IGN game Bloodforge a 4.0. It's just 1 review, but ouch.
I would imagine it would be hard to get Trials HD after the epic-ness of Evolution. Evolution just raises the bar in so many ways.
Trials HD was great, Evolution is better, but Trials HD is still great. I wouldn't pay full price now, but if it goes on sale it would be worth picking up if you like Trials Evo, IMHO. You can also unlock some clothing stuff in Evo. I need to go back and get the Marathon achievement to get the 3rd such item. :)

That fucking achievement!!!!RAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGEEEEEEE!!!!!! :bomb: At least they've made it easier to get now. That shit crazy insane when it first came out. King of the hill with zero faults...Mmm-K

One thing we can agree on is that Trials Evolution is a sequel done right. But I hear the skill games in Evo are pretty lousy (I haven't tried them yet myself so can't vouch for it), while they were some really fun ones in HD.

Also, one thing that probably only I appreciate about Evo - they took the blood out. Oh, you go and look at Trials HD now. Look carefully. Sure enough there's blood in there. I didn't notice it either until my oldest pointed it out, and he wouldn't play Trials HD as a result. He's squeamish about blood. :) I asked Red Lynx to put in an option to turn off blood, but they said at the time it was too late for HD, but that they'd consider it for any sequel. They opted to simply take it out completely, and I approve. Nobody else would notice anyway. LOL.
There's plenty of blood in the downloadable track, Super Bike Boy.
Ah, I didn't know that. I will warn him about that level. LOL. Interesting that it's possible for there to be blood. There is no splattering blood and the like in the main game, not that I was able to see.

More than 2 hours is PR talk. So expect to be hour or two long at best case. :(

Yesterday watched 20 mins Bloodforge gameplay - holy crap, how a dull game with bad combat can be part of some promotion? Jeez, even published by MS.:lol::lol:

3/10 from GamesRadar btw. Expect similar scores from Eurogamer and EDGE as well.

I have pretty much all decent XBLA games.

btw First review of The Walking Dead Ep 1 http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/122/1223560p1.html
It's good that it has a positive review. But let's face it, how excited can you get for yet ANOTHER zombie game?
Not much excited tbh lol. At least the game plays a bit different than most of the zombie games around. Will give a go to first episode at least.
There's plenty of blood in the downloadable track, Super Bike Boy.
Not really blood though, its like a paint gun attached to your bike which sprays red everywhere
It's good that it has a positive review. But let's face it, how excited can you get for yet ANOTHER zombie game?
That's funny, I was sure you were gonna say "how excited can you get for yet ANOTHER telltale adventure game"?
It's good that it has a positive review. But let's face it, how excited can you get for yet ANOTHER zombie game?
I don't know, how excited can you get for another game with soldiers, or guns, or big muscled up guys, or another game with that same plumber, or one where you jump on platforms, or a game where you drive a car? The zombie thing doesn't bother me as long as it's a good game, especially if it's doing something different. This game isn't about fighting zombies so I don't think it's like those other zombie games at all.

Points saved for Fable Heroes and Minecraft confirmed!

Since it's not like any other zombie game, I've very much looking forward to this.
Please Microsoft, no more COD map packs or Lego games on sale this week.

Give us Res Evil 4 HD or Code Veronica 1/2 off!
They've already announced this weeks deals last week and it sure ain't any of those games.

so are ms points cards you buy at the store always international? I'd like to look into getting Bullet Soul. Also anyone know any other region free games on the marketplace thats arent US titles?

100% agree. I don't understand how someone can complain about zombies when there are far more copy and paste going on with other type of games (mostly muscled up bald soliders with a a gun)

I think it's more because there is the rabid fanbase of zombie-game lovers that are annoying as fuck. LIEK ZOMG I LUV ZOMBIEZZZ!!11 BRAINZ LULZ. It seems to be used as a cheap gimmick or selling point for the hivemind in some cases (see: iOS games). There's even an indie game on XBLA that pokes fun at this mindset (called I MAED A GAME WITH ZOMBIEZ.... or something like that); ironically I think it actually sold pretty well for an indie game... Point is, zombies are definitely overused in games, as much as the dumb meathead with a machinegun archetype is.

Thankfully, this adventure-based one does look different though, so I have no complaints about that.

That's right! I even reviewed Bullet Soul right here and talk about the importing experience in more detail. There is some DLC that's worth getting as it makes the base game easier, which I liked.

I've been playing Bloodforge for a little while today, and strongly disagree with their review. The combat is really good and smooth. It doesn't do anything new combat-wise, but that hardly matters. It's a very God of War-like experience with its own unique setting and lore for $15. I don't know why anyone who likes that style of game would be disappointed unless they're somehow expecting a downloadable game to compete with a retail game that has ten or 20 times the budget. Will post more detailed impressions at WPC on Wednesday.

I actually like I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MBIES 1N IT!!!1. It's a top down twin stick shooter in one rock concert like room set to a goofy/catchy song by the guy that made it. (The song is also downloadable from the RockBand network for a buck). You're right though, the sense of humor is the strong point of the game.

I really like that an indie developer can have a sense of humor and make a living working with his better half. (They are the only two employees at Ska Studios). It's refreshing to have an indie guy that just wants to make games, enjoy life, and chill out. Here's a link listing the games the studio has released, you may have heard of the two The Dishwasher titles and ZOMB1ES (on teh ph0ne) includes I MAED A GAME...
Glad to see walking dead got a decent review. I might just get it on ps3 though with the season pass if I like the trial.
Back on the topic of XBLA titles, I actually might do the same thing. What's the deal with the Walking Dead season pass costing less ($19.99 vs 2000 MSP/$25), coming with a background theme, and releasing first? With the built in fanbase of the franchise ensuring some day one sales, I feel as if Microsoft is dropping the ball here. If one wants all of the episodes at launch there is absolutely no reason to get it on XBLA if you have both options available to you.
how can we tell if ms points are international?
Google search brought this answer from http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/microsoftpoints
"...Microsoft Points is a universal system that works across international borders..."

so then any ms points would work? why are people saying "international" if it doesnt matter?
so then any ms points would work? why are people saying "international" if it doesnt matter?
MSP are MSP and they are universal. Other users of this thread are reffering to region specific games and region specific price points. While the MSP themselves are international, the games and their pricing are not.

Not all points are international, or region-free. Some codes (most of the ones you'd find in stores) can't be redeemed in other countries. The best bet is to buy either Bing codes or codes from international sellers that the sellers claim are for specific regions.

I never mentioned anything about codes only the points themselves. You are correct, CODES are not international. Codes are redeemed for specific things and sometimes during a specific time frame and/or specific region of the world. If one successfully redeems a code for Microsoft points, the points themselves are then international by Microsoft's own description even if the code used to obtain them wasn't.

Of course, Micro$oft makes all of this unnecessarily confusing and difficult with their stupid point system! :wall:

2 items? This seems like an awfully easy week for a guy who updates an XBLA sale thread. Maybe that means Microsoft will throw you a curveball with a big unannounced sale. :)

edit: Ah, here's something. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 hit Games on Demand today and will be the special price of $39.99 for the next week (at which point it will go up to $59.99 where it will remain until the end of days).
